It's was a one woman show on the dreary, rainy Tuesday afternoon, my mom and I ventured into this nail salon for two pedicures. It was much later when we floated out on two pairs of seemingly new feet.... Worth the wait, our nail tech took special care of my feet and toes. There were hygienic levels taken that were completely new to this girl right here! For example she used a plastic liner to cover the foot basin portion of the pedicure chair. My feet were soaked, softened and pampered to near perfection and then my ten toes were frosted a lovely Christmas shade of green with gold dusting. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I visited today with a few of my friends and waited 45 minutes with my feet in a cold bowl of water for a pedicure until I walked out. The pedicure tech serviced someone that even came in after me. I wouldn't try again. read more

Worst nail spa I've ever been to the hospitality was nice especially since I was a walk in & had to wait 10 minutes, I'd give them a 4 on hospitality & a -1 for service , there was three lady's working when I came on Christmas Eve to get a last minute manicure before we leave town... I was wrong to come here, ALMOST THREE HOURS FOR REGULAR MED SIZE NAILS. I told her multiple times to stop before she even put gel on my nails, she just kept saying she was gonna make them look pretty for the holidays but I was already irritated and clearly stating I wanted to leave considering we had to drive 4 hours away. Thank god I am from here & can divert my friends away from this place because I was in literal tears bc she disregarded everything I said & didn't even give me the nails I wanted bc ' the acrylic was taking to long to dry because of the weather' UMMM aren't we inside ? And don't you have AC so why would the weather be affecting how fast the nail acrylic Hardens. My mother works at a salon but I don't go there bc it's to pricey & this was last minute or I would've chose magnolia nails over this place & they're almost just as pricey, but tell me, do these look like 30$ or 50$ acrylics?? Lmfao the second one. Not to mention she left for 10 min to wax a woman & her daughters brows mid filing my nails only to tell me that the acrylic takes forever to dry apparently bc of the weather indoors knowing I'm now on a tight schedule and need to leave... not finish my nails so they can look pretty, I'm gonna be running late to seeing my family 4 hours away because she wouldn't stop. This business discriminated against my 13 year old daughter because she was paying with a $100 dollar bill. The customer service was horrible and my daughter nails are big and bulky. I will be going back in the morning for someone to have them fix it because $56 for these nails aren't it. And to say I was there this morning when I never stepped foot in that place a day in my life lets me know they are racist and think all black people look alike. read more

I spent over 2 hours and 15 minutes here and was the second person to walk in following their opening. Kim, the nail technician continuously left me at the table to tend to another client (one that arrived after I did). She also was extremely rough with me causing injury to my hands and nail beds. Washing my hands in warm water literally hurts my cuticle area because she really ground them down. Long wait, and painful experience mean I will never return to this place. read more

I went here to get a fill because I was running low on time and this was the closest salon to me. HUGE mistake ! I waited 20 minutes to be helped. While I was waiting there were women eating at their desks and watching videos on their phones. Turns out one of the older ladies that was eating was the one that was going to perform my fill. So I had a stiletto shape of nail. While in the process of my fill she kept trying to remove my gel polish with nail polish remover. Ummm... ? I informed her that it was gel polish so after 5 minutes she decided to file the polish off. I showed her a picture of how I like my nails. I don't like a fat heavy nail. I like them to be thin and sleek. While she was doing the exact OPPOSITE of what I requested, I told her to stop and I was going to take my business elsewhere. The "manager" came over. She was a younger lady who spoke very well English. She already had an attitude for absolutely no reason saying to me "what's the problem" I informed her that I wasn't happy with my nails. So, her and the elderly lady argued for about 5 minutes in a different language. Finally the "manager" decided to take over my nails. I told her no, that I wanted to leave and take my business elsewhere. She began to get loud saying what I wanted my nails to look like was not possible, and they looked better than what I came in with (which is not true) I told her I had a picture of my nails before I came in and she snickered "let me see the picture" I showed her and she rolled her eyes saying "what do you want me to do" ummm, excuse me ? She's lucky she didn't get slapped. I told her she was being extremely unprofessional and I wanted to leave. After her going to the back of the salon for 5 minutes she finally came back to let me pay. I contemplated on wether or not I should just walk out but I decided paying was the right thing to do. After I left I went to the Walgreens across the street and bought some stick on nails for my wedding I was attending. BOTTOM LINE : worst nail salon I've ever been to. Amazing experience. They got me right in without appointment on a busy Saturday (this was the 4th salon I went to that day). The technicians paid attention to detail, were very friendly and thorough. My manicure is still good 5 days later. Will definitely go back! read more

I've been looking for a nail salon that is consistent with nail techs and quality, and this is it! It is a smaller salon, but the service you get makes up for it. A lot of nail salons in Charlotte are are iffy when it comes to quality of work but not this one. The owner is one of the nicest ladies I know! Other helpers that work here are genuinely nice too. I would suggest going during the day or during the week so you don't hit the weekend crowd, but besides that it's my go to! Prices are also very reasonable for the service. read more

I've gone here for my eyebrows for a year and never had a problem. I just went in for my first pedicure and witnessed pure RACISM by the staff. One African American lady came in asking for service, and she was turned away because there wasn't enough time for her. Kim proceeded to talk with a customer sitting next to me about how she doesn't like working on black women because they are so rude and bossy. I was dumbfounded. 25 minutes later and another African American woman walked in requesting service and she was also TURNED AWAY. I will NEVER go back here and I DISCOURAGE anyone from going to them for service. Pure hatred and and racism SHOULD NOT be rewarded. read more

Had the worst experience here. I was shafted for an hour and 12 minutes because I had just 1 repair. There were 4 people that walked in and were served. I'm thinking because they had fill ins or full sets and that was more money and bigger tips for the girls to make. I will continue to go here just so I can NOT tip!! read more

I always have a great experience here. Clean, friendly and the ladies give a wonderful leg massage with the pedicure. One Christmas they even gave me a free bottle of lotion just for coming in. Their prices are very reasonable. $30 for a great pedicure. read more

I have been coming to this salon for 16 years. The owner Kim saved my nail after I ended up with a fungus from acrylic nails from another salon. Over the years I have received excellent service with manicures, pedicures and eyebrow wax. The entire staff is always very professional, and friendly. Just went here for the first time today and had a lovely experience! Kim the nail tech did my nails and I absolutely love them!! I had previously went to nail trek for acrylic with gel polish and they did a very poor job. The acrylics there was too thick and was shaped very poorly. This isn't the case here! I've been to this place only twice. The first time I went in to get a full set, it took the tech 2 hours to complete a basic square set. The second time I returned to get a fill. When I was receiving a fill, the nail tech filed down my nails so badly that my thumb ended up being thinner and crooked. After comparing both hands, some nails were shorter and thinner than the others. I was very disappointed so my tech had another lady who spoke English well come talk to me. After explaining to get that I was unhappy she said to me "I wish you would of said something sooner" how exactly did she expect me to do that ? Then she kept repeatedly asking me "what do you want me to do ? I can't do anything." That is a TERRIBLE way to handle someone who is a customer. I just asked her to pay and then I left. I really shouldn't of payed. The nails were so messed up, I had to go home, cut them, file them, and repaint them myself. Both horrible experiences and I will NEVER return to that salon. read more
