This place provides reasonable service, but they clearly do not want clients of color to patronize their place of business. I am African American and they seem in a hurry to get me out of their establishment. They have also attempted to dissuade me from being served there by either exaggerating the wait time, or telling me they don't offer services which I know that they in fact do. Many of my black family members have complained of similar incidents with Eloquent Nails. TRUE STORY: I sent my husband in to ask how long the wait time is for his wife, they said "five minutes." My nails look good don't get me wrong. I was surprised when I was charged $55.00 for a sns fill. Kim did my nails and she was incredibly nice but I was so shocked that they charged me $55.00. It's my fault for not asking, but normal prices are between $ 35.00 to 45.00. I was hoping to make this my own nail salon, but quite frankly, cannot afford it. read more

This salon is one I don't recommend. It took too long to be waited on. When I went with my niece expecting to get pedicures at the same time. After 20 minutes of soaking our feet one person came over. When I asked if we would be taken care of at the same time he was surprised. After explaining we came together thus we wanted to get our pedicures together they pulled someone from the back. I was thrilled to be done with this appointment. Never again. The salon over charged for my pedicure and I had to ask for a manicure three times. Whenever I stated my desired service, the nail tech tried to convince me I didn't need it to save her time. When her manager told her to give the manicure I asked for, she snatched my hand and began mumbling out loud regarding her dissatisfaction. I've been here many times, and it is sad that occurred today. When I confronted her, she left the conversation while her manager defended her actions. Do not spend your money here. read more

I was really impressed with my last visit. Complete 180 from my first! They took great care of me and I didn't feel rushed like the first time. So maybe it was an off day for them? They fit me in last minute, even though they were understaffed. They took great care of me and my nails! I did have to wait a little bit, but I did not have an appointment and like I said before they fit me in last minute-while being understaffed. There was very little wait, however, the pedicure was totally rushed. I am used to paying $25 for a nice pedicure so I was shocked that the cost was $33 per person! I wish I could personally give 0 stars for this business. I just walked out of this nail salon and was treated with the utmost disrespect. I went in for a simple wax for my eyebrows. She rushed me, was short and rude. Put burning wax on my face and shoved me the mirror once she was done and say done. I paid $10.00 for the most terrible service I've ever received. I enjoy eloquent nails because they offer you a drink while you wait (water, wine, soda, etc), they use plastic bags when getting a pedicure which is very hygienic and they do a good job on my nails. I'm only rating them 3 stars because when my aunt and I went in we were next up for a pedicure that we obviously wanted to get done together because we came in together for the same thing. However, we had to wait 10/15 min before they called us over, which wasn't even the problem because we needed that whole 10/15 minutes just to pick a color haha it was when they said they were ready and had us sit in the chair waiting for 20 min then while one person started to do a pedicure and not the other person it was more waiting. As well as when receiving an eyebrow wax they did it front and center right where I was getting my manicure. I felt very uncomfortable because usually that is in a private room not for all to walk passed and see. I was not fond of that experience read more

The finished product was gorgeous. My fav tech, Ann, had another tech get started which she kindly explained beforehand. Ann ended up taking my nails off giving me a new full gel set bc frankly it was time. Later that night my nails throbbed which I hadn't felt in years. It did stop & they were only sore. I think all the filing they both did was far too much for my nail bed. Ann told me it's best I make an appt so she could solely do my nails but I didn't know that. I have been going to this nail salon for 1+ years now and initially had great quality but recently it has been hit or miss. Quality is highly dependent on the nail tech is. Went to get an SNS manicure recently and within 5 days the polish started to have a yellow discoloration. I am not pleased after spending $50 on the manicure. read more

The people are very kind, but their service did not meet expectations. They rushed through my pedicure and didn't massage or scrub my feet very well. They also told us that the wait was 15 minutes but we ended up waiting for a good 30 minutes at least. We waited longer than it took them to do the pedicure. read more

Nondescript little nail place right next to Harris Teeter. I went in here because my normal place was closed. This place is small and no-frills but what I love is the excellent service. They are quick to try to get you in even when backed up and they are just so very kind. I also feel like the work is super high-quality. Had just a basic manicure but it's lasted for several days with no chips in it and actually reminds me of a gel manicure. My mom loved her pedicure as well. It wasn't great at all, i scheduled an appointment and wasn't even acknowledged until 15 mins later even though i told them the i had a 3:30 appointment i had somewhere to go after and i was late. No one asked me if i would like a drink even tho she asked the lady next to me if she wanted one. No one was kind to me. During my manicure the lady seemed easily distracted and kept burning me with the electric file... im so glad its over and i would rather go anywhere else. i would not even give this place a star. my husband went to the wrong salon and got me a gift certificate. they would not refund the money so i had to use it. i got a full set of nails. the worst nails i have ever had done. not only that the lady took a $5 tip w/o asking. i still have money left on the certificate and refuse to go back there to have them fix. i even called complaining about the nails and she said "no can help" also, the person doing the nails not once spoke to me. never said thank you ..just one of the worst experiences i have ever had at a salon. never go there. read more
