I was able to book my appointment online with ease. Upon arrival, my appointment was honored and began about 5 minutes early. My technician was proficient and efficient. I enjoyed my visit to this modern salon. They have 10 pedicure seats and 10 nail seats. It's a lot packed into a small space but they make it work. The quality of my pedicure and Gel manicure was done to my satisfaction and I will definitely return. As far as pricing, I was pleased with the price I paid for the services. Beware of the traffic around Poplar Tent & Harris Roads is a bear during the evening rush hour so be sure to add extra travel time. After reading some of the reviews, I will add that you can get what you ask for. However, sometimes the service requested may not be for you. Stopped in for a Mens Manicure on a Wednesday about 4pm without and appointment. It was pretty busy, so they asked me to wait a few minutes. I was seated shortly afterwards. Some cuticle lotion applied, hands placed in plastic bags and in hand warmers for a bit. Cuticles done, nails clipped, filed, buffed then massaged. Out in less than 1/2 hour at a reasonable price. Arrived to the salon ... About 10 minutes before our appointment. I got a pedicure. My sister got a fill. It was an experience. For those that get pedicure... My $45 pedicure took 22 minutes to complete? Wait, what? I did not get the treatment that I ordered. I got lotion on my lower legs but I did not get the spa experience. I was very disappointed. While I was getting my speedy pedicure my sister waited to be called. Frustrated, she was just about to leave when the male owner had her sit down - he did her nails. This occurred when I was getting out of the chair. It was a very disruptive appointment because the owner had to answer phones, make appointments and anything else you can think of. First-ever pedicure - but not on bucket list Family members feel that it is difficult to pick out / buy presents for me. So, for Christmas, Cody (my daughter-in-law) and my son Rusty came up with an out-of-the-box idea - a gift card for a pedicure which I have never had before nor expected to have in the future. Because I was totally unfamiliar with the procedure, Cody accompanied me to the NOA Nail Salon in Edison Square. Most nail salons in the U.S. are operated by Vietnamese, and all the nail technicians were Vietnamese females with a male salon manager / owner. Since I had attended Vietnamese language school before going to Vietnam in 1972, I brushed off my 52-year-old skills and endeavored to engage them in their native language. Vietnamese is a tonal language, and needless to say, I had long forgotten which tones went with which words. The results were humorous, but I was treated like a rockstar / babe magnet. Everyone wanted to see the beaucoup diên cái đầu old former advisor. Cody and I had a great time. The pedicure with cuticle treatment, hot stone and oil massage, and paraffin dip was pleasurable, but even though I have confidence in my manhood, I decided to forego the nail polish which Cody urged me to try. The shop was extremely clean with modern equipment. The staff was personable and professional and made me feel welcome. A pedicure will now be the go-to gift for family members to give me for my birthday and Christmas in the future. read more

To conclude what can best be described as a bizarre experience overall, I had to ask for cuticle oil/lotion at the checkout because my tech just walked away when she was done. In the 5+ years I have been going regularly to this nail salon, I have only had 2 not so great experiences. This place is usually much cheaper than other nail salons nearby and the service is also a MILLION times better. It is nice and clean inside, with many TVs to keep you entertained, and the staff is ALWAYS so friendly and personable (even when very busy). I truly feel cared for when I get my nails done here, and they usually do an amazing job. I cannot recommend this place enough! I came to NOA nail salon after getting a nasty nail infection elsewhere. NOA's owner looked at my damaged nail and recommended we take it off completely since I was done with antibiotics and it was partially detached already. Long story short, I became a regular here and they nursed my fingernail back to good health as it grew back over several months. Their sanitation standards are above board. The owner knows every regular client by name and greets you when you enter. I've had most of the techs work on me and they're all good. Of all of the nail salons I've tried in the immediate area, this NOA location is hands down the best. Most inviting staff and great selection of gel & dip colors. I stopped in this week for some fun Spring nail art. I showed a photo to Tiffany and she did an amazing job at recreating it perfectly. I came here after a long hiatus due to COVID and was greeted again by the same lovely ladies. They are doing an amazing job during COVID with temperature checks and requesting everyone to put on hand sanitizer from the huge jug they have in the front. I think salons in general are high but compared to other salons I thought their pricing was fair. I was disappointed that we had made an appointment for 2 at 5:30 and we let them know when we arrived. We were told they were running behind (which we were totally fine with) 2 other ladies had come in right before us without appointments and they were seen first. I was surprised since it seemed our appointments were not important. The staff was very nice and apologetic but we waited 40 min before we were even seated. I recently started going to NOA and I'm so happy I found them. The owner used to work at the salon I used to frequent before their quality dropped. But I'm really glad I found NOA. I love getting my nails done from Minh, Dana or Amy. I have tried one other lady and didn't like the nail art I got for Fourth of July. But I don't get nail art very often so that's okay. The salon is clean and taste fully decorated. I love that they have so many color options for gel colors. The staff is always friendly and smiling and prices are comparable to other places in the area. In the past, I have come in when not many other people are there. Normally, when you walk into any establishment during calmer hours, you aren't really greeted... at NOA I was. They were actually really happy to have me. I got my first set of acrylic nails done here, and they did not fall off or cause me any problems. The color selection was very large as well. I wish I could remark on service but it seems like they like to turn away customers. I have tried to go to this place 3 TIMES. I tried right when they open to mid afternoon. They didn't even offer me a wait time which I would be happy to take. they just immediately go to "well we are busy right now" I mean you just opened 8 minutes ago. If they are that busy they need to make a point to suggest to customers that they need to make appointments and they don't take walkins. Just very poorly communication. read more
