Rami, the manager, offered to tow my vehicle because it wasn't driveable. The staff did an excellent job and kept me informed with the repairs. I was notified to pick up my car, and they gave it a clean wash and made the car look brand new. The repair and paint job was spot on. I am back in my 2020 Blue Honda Fit and still in shock (the good kind) at how perfect it looks and drives. I know there is so much going on in the world and I'm very grateful to be able to have the good fortune of having a car when so many have so little. I recently moved to Cali from the Aloha state, 20 years on Oahu) and had a bad accident soon after I got here. ‍I have Geico and they recommended a few auto body repair shops but got a text from my sister (i had called her in a panic after the accident) and she insisted I call back Geico and have my car sent to someone she and her husband had dealt with before, Rami (rhymes with Amy) from 1 Stop Shop Auto Body in Escondido. From the time my poor car was towed there and dropped off, I was met with the fabulous Lisa (the woman who could seriously run a small country with style and grace!) getting my details and sharing with me next steps. She even drove me to Enterprise across the street to pick up my rental (who also took good care of me). Rami, the Manager at 1 Stop Shop Auto Body, was kind and reassuring and said he would do his best to give me the best deal and to try not to worry. I was so concerned it would be what they call a "total loss" for the insurance company (the cost of repairs plus the recovered value of your car is equal to or greater than its cash value) and I would lose my car that has been with me through a lot; had traveled an ocean to get here, to end up sold for parts. But, my insurance agent called me the next day (sounding as surprised as I was!) that Rami and Lisa and 1 Stop Shop Auto Shop in Escondido came back with a very good estimate which meant I would be getting my car back, after it was repaired! I was happy that they're actually an affordable auto shop, and Rami is very transparent with you through the whole process.
