I have an '02 IS300 Lexus that needed its front fender replaced and re-painted. I brought Jose the OEM fender I ordered from Lexus and wanted him to paint it and install, although I was a bit worried the 20 years old paint would clash with the freshly painted fender. Well, apparently he has a really good eye for paint matching, because it came out amazing and I can hardly tell it is newer paint compared to the rest of the car. I tried to post this review on the Better Business bureau website, but this business is not BBB accredited. Wanted to share my substandard experience purely for the purpose of transparency & hopefully to push for improvements to their existing policies and workflows to prevent similar situations from occurring with future clients. If I would've known what I know now, I would not have chosen Craft automotive. This company was recommended through my car insurance for repairs. On a positive note, the dent/scratch to my car door was finished in a timely manner. First inconvenience: I was told that my Mercedes would be repaired in about a week, however they did not inform me at the initial visit that the specific part for my damaged mirror would take longer to arrive. Communication is key. Second inconvenience: I was informed that my car mirror arrived and scheduled an additional appointment to bring my car in. Upon arrival the staff realized that the incorrect part was sent based on the VIN number. The job still was not completed. Third inconvenience: I was again informed that the "correct" mirror was ordered and scheduled another appointment. Upon arrival I was told that again, "the incorrect part was sent by Mercedes." Let's be better- double, triple check that it is the needed part, prior to letting the client come in. At this point my car wasn't fully fixed for almost a month. Wasted time for an incomplete repair job. I requested to take my car directly to a Mercedes Dealership to order the correct part. No issues with the Mercedes dealership. They were able to get a mechanic to complete the job on the first visit. read more

He helped me get my car back on the road extremely quickly despite being more needed to be done after disassembly. They were able to paint match the metallic paint on my Ford Mustang Mach E. He was able to coordinate with the local Ford dealership in getting parts quickly. I have to be honest, the beginning of my experience was not a happy one. There was a huge miscommunication with the shop that was very upsetting to me. Jose was very understanding and went way above what was called for to ensure I felt comfortable with my repairs, and happy with the service they provided. I had such a bad experience here. After my new truck was damaged I trusted them with the care of my vehicle. There was so many issues here that I'm only covering the main part of it. So I have been to many body shops being on the fire department and working auto glass. I have never ever seen such poor work and the owner was rude after I pointed out the issues I had. Told me "it's as good as it gets" and called me picky and this is the owner. So I took my truck to another shop they didn't even have to be shown what was wrong they pointed it out to me before I could even show them. When your door to your $40,000 plus vehicle isn't matching at all and there's over spray and bubbles and run offs everywhere that's not called being picky Mr. Owner that's called bad work and really bad customer service. Do yourself a favor and bring your vehicle else where. I tried to let them fix it but the second paint job was worst than the first and "it's as good as it gets" so don't go here. This is my second bad review I think I have left on Yelp I don't like bashing things on the internet and I believe in small businesses but this was that bad. read more

Since this was an older car, the insurance co, originally wanted to total it, but Sam was able to find all the parts and put it back together again, restoring it to LIKE NEW conditiion.
