My main issue is being told bloodwork/labs to confirm the HIV test result would not be out of pocket. They told me this AFTER I provided my insurance info and asked them. If I knew there was, or might be, a copay beforehand, I would probably still get the labs done because I just tested positive for a major incurable illness. Still would rather not have paid $180 for a "free" STD test just because of a faulty test on their end, but I guess I would rather be aware of being (possibly) charged rather than LIED TO. Due to their (allegedly) affordable services, I was at first considering them for their other resources, but that is off the table now. I would encourage anyone considering Crew Health to be very wary or avoid them altogether, especially if you are already struggling financially in our increasingly less affordable society. So unfortunate to see a place meant to serve a marginalized community take advantage of fear to get money. Very disappointed.

You can opt in to have them email and/or text you appointment reminders and they send it to you a day in advance so you can confirm or reschedule. Fast fwd to the day of appointment I had car problems and had to cancel my appointment. I had to wait to call and speak to someone as the issue happened during thier lunch breaks. Drugs were being smuggled into the units Clean towels, pillows, soap, shampoo, etc. are not available No security and staff is not allowed restrain violent patients Daily activities (other than meals & smoke breaks) were watching TV and doing kids' coloring pages Former maximum security prisoners are in the same unit as drug, alcohol, and mental patients. Profanity, conflicts, negativity and talk of drugs were a daily part of life. Patient 1: Spent over 25 years in a maximum security prison. Talked of how to smuggle drugs into prison and into Blackberry. Patient 2: Taught us how to scam Walmart out of carts full of groceries using a hotel key card. Patient 3: Was obviously over-medicated. Walked around aimlessly in their underwear trying to start conflicts. Tried to get into other patients rooms in the middle of the night. Extremely stressful, negative experience. Would NOT recommend to anyone. The only positive comment I can make is that the nursing staff was very compassionate and caring.

I saw two people who had to go to the hospital because of medication changes. There is no sense of urgency in any request. I put a request in the box for the patient advocate and it was not picked up for 5 days. Then it took 2 more for action I was never given an ID bracelet and it was 3 weeks into my stay and they were going to take a non fasting sample. I refused. one nurse mixed up my meds but I caught it. not a pleasant experience!!!

They based concern (as had Dr. Montoya) on less obvious criteria and found 2 parathyroid tumors so pHPT (which is curable thru this surgery when there is no cure for secondary HPT) was the correct diagnosis. After going through many kidney stones and procedures for years, I can't explain how grateful I am to Dr. Montoya and my surgeons at Norman Parathyroid Center!

I would have to restart treatment with an initial first appointment. This could have been addressed over the phone. I get regular adjustments at home but my hip was bothering while on holiday so I called. It's over purpose not money, but I'm not going to be hosed for an adjustment. I consider in my opinion this was a money grab seeing it came out of left field. I chose to leave and not seek treatment. I went to the national group I use in my home state 40min later and was seen with no additional costs than what I would have paid here. I would hope going forward the reception does a better job explaining than just booking appointments.
