It's very expensive for what you get. I was there Saturday just before the dinner menu came out. Wish they had told be that when making reservations because the bar menu or whatever it was, was definitely lacking in choices. The server did not know the names of the very expensive oysters, where they were from or the prices?? No dessert either. It was my friend's birthday and I was hoping to get a piece of cake with candle. Oh well.... It's a nice location but better at night when all the chicks get dressed up. We were so excited to go to 1000 North this afternoon/evening. Didn't eat all day and arrived about 5:00 pm. We went because their web site shows how great the happy hour is...drink and food menus, pictures and more. As we checked in I asked where best outside seating for the happy hour was. The hostess looked at me a bit "dazed" and said, "oh, we don't have happy hour and haven't for some time. I pulled up the multiple web sites, including theirs which clearly showed they did! Aggravated, we decided to leave. On the way out I did ask to see a manager. Waited and they never bothered to show up. I feel mislead and wondered if this is just a "bait and switch" marketing way of getting business. I do not like getting lied to and ignored. CAUTION...do not go for happy hour. If you want some of the BEST food in Jup AND you want to have a "nice" dinner as a couple or a group, you can make reservations here (that's a HUGE plus). There is a dress code, but it's not fancy. Their outdoor bar area is a cool spot to simply walk up to and have a couple drinks and watch the sunset. It's one of the only spots in JUP on the water and it's one of the only spots to watch the sunset. You can walk the boardwalk and watch the water while you wait for a table if you want. The steaks here are 5-star. Their sides are all shareable and really tasty!!! Staff is knowledgeable and classy and really well managed. Wow! Food was fabulous here! We arrived on a Saturday night, not a long wait for the valet. Beautiful views, watched the sunset while we waited for our table to be ready (only 10 min pass our reservation time). Dress code is country club casual is what they recommend, you see a wide range, from a guy in T-shirt and flip flop to guys in jackets, girls are casual to summer dresses. The hostess is friendly enough, the dining area is dark. Some tables seem to be closer than others, we sat in a table for four so it was comfortable! Our waitress was fantastic! Friendly and recommended some of her favorite foods. I ordered the crab soup to start (delicious), and had the filet for dinner (top with blue cheese and fig), wow it was melt in your mouth, cook to perfection, probably one of the best filets I have had. Sides we had mac and cheese (ok), truffle fries (so good! Crispy and did I mention so good?), and the broccolini (also good). To end the evening we shared the sorbet and berries (it's ok). Overall a very enjoyable evening and the food was amazing! And yes it was pricy but the quality of the food was worth it. Can't wait to return. read more

This is class and excellence all around. I had an outstanding dining experience at this location. The ambiance added to the experience with views of Intracoastal and the Jupiter lighthouse from the restaurant. One of the highlights of the meal was the complimentary homemade bread served with honey truffle infused butter, don't be afraid to ask for seconds! They are happy to accommodate. We enjoyed a special of the day appetizer, fried soft shell crab atop pimento cheese grits. The crab was seasoned and fried to perfection with a perfect complement to the creamy grits. This was followed by the Caesar salad that was the most unique and non traditional Caesar salad I have other tasted. It is a nice size, definitely able to be shared or as a dinner entree for one person. For dinner, we had the Sole served with mashed potatoes. Everything we enjoyed was nice sized portions, large enough to be shared. When we ordered we told the server we planned on sharing, each items (except the appetizer) came split on two separate plates. To finish the meal, dessert was key lime pie. Everything again tasted to perfection from the bottom crumbly crust, to the smooth & veleveety key lime filling to the flamed whipped cream dollops surrounding the plate. My wife and I dined here last night (1/12/23) and loved the entire experience. The service, the food, and the ambiance were all elevated. We were seated as a two-some at a waterfront table for four in spite of the restaurant being very busy. The dessert was over the top good. Total bill including apps, main, and the dessert was $200. Good not great. Food was all good (except the chicken entree) but nothing blew us away. We had the scallops and wagyu beef as appetizers. Scallops were ok, not a lot of flavor/seasoning on this dish and the pieces of ham seemed out of place on the dish. The wagyu beef tartare was better. A very tasty dish seasoned well. For dinner we had the stuffed chicken which was a miss. It has tomato slaw covering it but that contrast between the slaw and the chicken on top of the lentils does not work. The slaw should be on the side not smothered on top of the chicken. This dish was disappointing. The swordfish entree was very good. The deserts are very small portions. All in all good not great food and for these astronomical and overpriced dishes the food should be impeccable and undeniable. We spent almost $500 for 2 people as we had a lot of drinks. We should have been comped something at least our after dinner drinks or something. Also just a note, nobody in this place wears masks including the workers in case that bothers you as it did us. read more

We dined at 1000 North last night. Made a reservation for four. Valet out front was perfect. The waterfront location with views is beautiful and the host staff was excellent. They smiled and greeted us, (which I always appreciate) checked us in and took us to our table right on time. We started with drinks and appetizers. Angels Envy Bourbon and Chardonnay and for appetizers we ordered the octopus, salad wedge, grilled artichokes and the grouper cheeks. Our waiter was very attentive throughout our dining experience. The wedge was fresh, with heirloom tomatoes, bacon and fresh blue cheese. Octopus was grilled perfectly and the sauce that came with it was so good! The grouper cheeks we're next level. The Korean flavorings along with the crispy pan fried crunchiness was out of this world! The artichokes were also cooked perfectly with a crabcake type of topping. So good! For dinner we ordered Dover Sole, and a petite fillet. Sides of potatoes, and grilled broccolini were both great. I love broccolini charred. Potatoes perfectly creamy! I ate everything on my plate. That's the trouble with great food... I eat it until I am completely stuffed! The Sole was fantastic, petite filet was normal. The atmosphere was exciting, lots of conversations at each table and all the servers busy. This restaurant is a must for exceptional food and service. Probably the nicest choice of restaurants in the area. And if I lived in the area it would definitely be on my rotation! Try the grouper cheeks. Try the grilled octopus! Try the Dover sole! What a fantastic restaurant!! Had one the most enjoyable lunches ever. From the second we walked in we were made to feel like we've been going there for twenty years. You get juice, coffee or soda as a drink and then they bring out donuts before your meal comes. The brunch options are amazing. I got Filet and eggs and I got to choose one side. So, would love to give this place a five star rating but the service is what brought it down. Let's start with the hostesses. They barely looked up from their computers they were feverishly typing on and did not make eye contact with us as we entered. No "Welcome to 1000 North". Second, our server was a bit inattentive and didn't bring us bread until after we had already received our soups and salads, and did not bring our bill. We had to waive another server down to get it. When the food runners brought the salads and soups there was no introduction of what they were serving. Literally dropped the food in front of us. Now, on to the food - fabulous! Five Star. The she-crab soup was perfect. The salads we enjoyed (Caesar and Market) were spot on. I had the prawn special with basmati rice with cilantro and a curry sauce. Wow! Finally, the huge chocolate cake. Couldn't stop taking spoonfuls. So, with such great food the service brought it down a bit Finally, The yelp page indicates dress is "classy". We had someone seated next to us who was wearing yoga pants and a tank top barely concealing her bra. It is obvious that she either had work there or knew all the employees because they kept coming to her table and conversing with her and her young son. I worked for 12 years in food service myself and am currently in hospitality. They should have had the discretion to sit somewhere else so they could socialize amongst their friends rather than be seated with people in suit coats, dresses, etc. Just a thought when you are paying about $100/person for dinner. As you can see, I don't post often but this pissed me off. We showed up at 11:45 on Saturday night. Their website & Yelp says it's open until 1 am. We took an Uber there from a party & wanted one more drink & a little food. Heard great things about the place. When we arrived the place looked closed & the GM (I assume) opened the door & said "Technically we are open but you are the only customers." He did say he would take us in but he was hesitant & it was obvious he didn't want us to come in. He also noted that it stayed open until 1:30 on Friday because it was so busy. The bar was completely cleaned with everything put away & all the bottles covered with white cups. I get it if you don't want to serve me if I show up at 12:45 (still not great but I get it) but it was over an hour before you were supposed to close. On a Saturday night. Come on. You guys should be better than this. Can't comment on the food or drink unfortunately, just left a bad taste in my mouth. It did look beautiful & it's a great location on a positive note. read more

First, the good: the restaurant itself is stunning. Wood and polished metal accents cover every inch of wall, there are beautiful fixtures and design everywhere, and it all looks super luxurious. The service is excellent and it feels like someone materialized out of nowhere every time my glass came even close to needing a refill. Now about the food. The food was very good overall. My wife and I ordered the short rib small plate, which was excellent, but it didn't taste much better than other similar dishes I've had. We also ordered the Dover and the blackened market fish. The Dover was OK. The flavor wasn't quite as impressive as I thought it would be. The blackened market fish was delicious and included some excellent corn bread croutons which I had never had before. For sides we ordered this corn brûlée side which was... meh. It had this crust of caramelized sugar on top of a mix of corn with spices and peppers. It was an odd flavor combination that I felt wasn't quite right. The mac and cheese, on the other hand was delicious, but I've definitely had better "elevated" mac and cheese sides elsewhere at other restaurants for much less money. And that, ultimately, is my biggest problem with this restaurant. For two people with no alcoholic drinks, our meal cost a whopping $217 before tip!! It was just not worth that. I can get better food at other great restaurants for MUCH less money in this area. And I'm talking nice restaurants like J Alexanders, The River House, U Tiki Beach, and others. Ultimately, 1000 North just doesn't make a case for its astronomical pricing beyond its unbelievably expensive interior design and ambiance. read more

Happy hour is your friend here. They have awesome deals on food and drinks! You can even take your paddle board here! At first, I thought it would be too boujee for a casual date night. I realize now that you can dress up and make it a swanky night or wear something more casual and sit at the bar. The food was great and the dessert was even better. Plus the water tastes so clean.
