My husband and I visited the Woodinville showroom and Jacob was the first salesman who welcomed us in. I wanted to replace our carpet with another high quality carpet that would last for the next 20 years. He was friendly and happily answered my questions, showed us a few samples and let us look around. We took home a couple boards and I returned later in the week and picked up another half dozen or so. We settled on a carpet especially designed for pets that comes with a 25 year warranty. Trying to find the perfect color that would work well with our LVP and hardwood floors was challenging! Since we were torn between two similar colors, Jacob offered to contact the manufacturer and get larger samples for us and have them sent to our home via FedEx. He was excellent in communicating through email how the scheduling and payment process worked and kept us informed of anything we needed to know about along the way. The installation was last week and went just as smooth. We're very happy with the product we chose and I would gladly do business again with Haight Carpet and Jacob!

Well, that's kind of how we ended up with a new rug that didn't fit where it was supposed to. However, my wife refuses to admit defeat to any purchase, so we started to look for someone who could help us, which led to a trip over to Kent. Ward works out of his home workshop, which is a converted garage. We showed up with the rug and he welcomed us in. One of the nice things about visiting someone working out of their home is seeing the tools of the trade. It was interesting watching Ward split and reassemble the rug, like a live episode of How It's Made. Ward was very friendly and courteous. An hour later, our rug was resized and ready to go, with an additional kitchen mat made from the excess rug to boot. Ward's work is exceptional and worth every penny.
