Yelpers are being a bit too harsh yeah??.. well, I'm giving a 4 star for for the studio itself minus 1 star for parking underground expensive as hell and such rip off even after business hours. On one lonely night, we were invited to visit Jojo on the radio while he was interviewing Brandy. We park downstair in the garage for about 2 hours and the bill came out to be $15! Now I know the building charges for parking and not Iheartmedia but charging $15 to park as guests after hours is a bit too greedy. Iheartmedia previously known as Clear Channel Communications own a few of the top media radio stations in Los Angeles such as 102.7Kiis Fm, 98.7, KBIG 104.3, Kost 103.5, and a few other ones. They the master owner corporation that owns about 6 or 7 radio stations in just LA, rent a huge suite office in this Burbank entertainment building and in this suite they make 6 or 7 of these "little" radio broadcast rooms for their live broadcasts on each stations and they all share cubicles offices seats for the rest of the team. Now the radio station itself.. not a bad radio station.. except they keep playing the song all over and over and over again.. lol Ryan Seacrest is a handsome dork but you know you all love him. :-) read more

I feel that 102.7 Kiis fm is getting worse and worse every day. EJ, Gabby Diaz, DJ Triple XL, Kayla, Jojo Wright, and the other DJ's play the same songs over and over again every 45 minutes. The songs are so overplayed and it's very unfortunate that people are requesting the same songs and it's such a shame that these DJ's are getting paid just to do this. Kiis Fm used to actually be good in the 2010's decade when Alex Dreamz and DJ Drew were on the station. But now, it's getting to the point that I have to turn off this station whenever I hear a song that I just heard. Seems like no one is doing anything about this. This station could be better if they combined more new pop and dance music together or new music in general that we never heard of, rather than having all these songs on repeat. Another mixer would also be nice instead of DJ Triple XL playing the Friday Night Party and the Saturday Night Party. read more

Surprised no one has reviewed 102.7 KIIS-FM, which plays Top 40 music. This is my favorite LA radio station!! I enjoy listening to "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" with Ellen K. (60 Seconds Of Sleaze), Manny On The Streets, and Commander Chuck (freeway updates from the sky) every weekday morning at work over the Internet. I enjoy the guest star interviews on the show. Listening to Ryan Seacrest "Finish the Lyric" with his gift of song which is so hilarious, my boss at work even cracks up!! The Ryanalysis and the Ryan's Roses phone calls by Patty (to weed out the "cheaters") are very interesting. I used to enjoy the Little Ally phone calls which I really miss now and cracked me up!!! I listen to KIIS music to make my workday go smoother. Late nights back East, I stream JoJo On The Radio to listen to JoJo's Top 9 @ 9, plus I crack up when Fat Daniel and Karli From The Block pull off some crazy pranks all over the Southland. Manny is very cool!! I had the pleasure to receive $40 in free gas from a Free Gas Friday event hosted by Manny arriving in the Roach Coach. Manny interviewed me when I told him I streamed KIIS-FM from my Manchester, NH office and showed me the LA Handshake. I also can tune into 102.7 KIIS-FM anytime on Sirius/XM Channel 11 while riding around the backwoods of New Hampshire, 3,000 miles away. This is such a trendy radio station and it is my go to station in LA. I've been going to 102.7 for years.. have heard so many different DJ's and in the morning people from Rick Deez, to DJ Valentine to now Ryan Seacrest. Ryan Seacret is EVERYWHERE. You seriously can't escape him in LA. I do enjoy their countdowns on the weekends and when they do Ryan Rose's.. its so cruel but I can't help but listen. So Ryan's Roses is basically when a caller calls in and tells Ryan that they suspect their significant other of basically cheating. Then they have someone from the station call that significant other and offer them free roses.. they can send them to anyone they like.. and then when they give it someone that's NOT their significant other or maybe a family member.. they are BUSTED. It gets worse though.. they will ask the significant other what they want to put on that card.. and of course the significant other and Ryan Seacrest are listening the entire time and BUST them. Its sad.. but its been done for such a long time I'm surprised more people don't catch on to this gimmick. They play a lot of the same songs over and over again. Anything that's on the top 100 pretty much. But they do offer a lot good prizes and they have that Wango Tango concert that has a bunch of artists that I've always wanted to go to. read more

First, I'm not a big fan of anything LA whatsoever. But when it comes to music selection, they got a lot more variety than in SF (and that is the only thing they have one up on SF). That being said, KIIS-FM is not bound to playing exclusively one kind of sound. They do a good job of mixing the kinds of music they play: pop, R&B, and rap. This is MY station! When I listen to the radio this is the ONLY station I listen to. I like Ryan Seacrest on here, but not when he's on American Idol. I like the music they play and Ryan's Roses is hilarious (pathetic, but hilarious). DJ Drew's mix around lunch time is pretty good too. Little Ally in the mornings are just toooooooo funny. All in all it makes my mornings better (I'm not a morning person). These days, Roger the security guy has been adding to my fits of laughter in the AM too. I think Ryan is crazy (but effective) to get Roger's input on so many things, but Roger just tells it like it is. YOU GO ROGER! But just said hello...i kept saying hello and all i hear is his keyboard. So after a few more hellos, thinking that he couldn't hear me, this guy screamed, "hold on girl, geez!!!" You have to pay to park and the station does not validate for winners (but they validate for everyone else ~ why punish your listeners who win??). Then I made the mistake of writing down the wrong information on the sheet the chick behind the glass gave me. Boy oh boy you'da thought I was the most evil person alive! That chick has way more balls than her position warrants. Don't get me wrong...I MADE A MISTAKE...I own it. Ms. Perfect apparently took is as a personal insult and LET ME KNOW IT. SO! What's worse than LA Traffic? LA Traffic with your radio tuned to 102.7. The downfall of the Western civilization did not start with Seacrest but he might be its catalyst (hopefully not Gavrilo Princip style). Anyway, with or without the annoying radio hosts or endless commercials, the music sucks. There is modern music that doesn't but you won't find it on KIIS. Last week, while turning down the dial, I accidentally changed 95.5 to 102.7, upon which I heard some souja-boy-moving-his-body-like cyclone crap. I almost got into an accident while trying to change it back to KLOS. Okay, so we're forced to listen to this station at work. At first I saw it was a top 40 station and I was like alright fine, not my cup of tea, but at least there's variety, right? I was horribly wrong. Listen to this station for more than 2 hours and you realize they don't play the top 40. They play the same handful songs every hour, sometimes switching one or two every hour. Seriously. Right now. Turn it on and I guarantee with 95% certainty that you will hear Gangam Style and Cross My Heart and Hope to Die within the next hour. As a kid in the 90s, this would have been 4 stars. Now as an adult, I can't listen to this station. I keep trying to tune in regularly out of habit and 90% of the time go to the next channel. This station was the best when I used to come down to Culver City to visit my uncle on our usual LA trips with the family. I would listen to this station mainly because like any other kid, I was into Top 40 hits. Also, where else could I listen to N'Sync's, "Bye, Bye, Bye" and Christina Aguilera's, "Genie in a Bottle" in Los Angeles at the time other than on KIIS FM? Oh, and let's not forget Fox Kids Countdown; anyone remember that (I'm really showing off my age)? That was then. Now, I just can't stand listening to any form of Top 40. Can someone please explain to me what the appeal of the Ryan Seacrest show is? I simply do not understand what is entertaining about listening to bummed out people crying -literally!- about their failed relationships and bad decisions, served up with Seacrest and Ellen K's didactic, predictable, condescending preaching about "communication". Nothing funny or uplifting about any of it. It's like a poor man's version of Dr. Phil and THE LAST THING I would want to hear when I'm trying to gear up for the day ahead. I won tickets to see Rihanna so I had to go inside this building and pick them up! I felt like a real superstar because it was so, for lack of a better word, BOUGEY! I loved it; I felt like a real Class A showoff. Service was pretty fast and I got my tickets within 15 minutes. The outside courtyard is beautiful. 102.7 will always hold a special place in my heart. I grew up listening to this station and I still do. Out of five, I would probably place 102.7 fourth on my list, with one being the best. The music they play is usually good, however they have been known to overplay a song often. They also like to go on commercial the same time as all the other radio stations. The only reason this station is popular is Ryan Seacrest. They have about five songs they play per day, back to back and three are from Rihanna. Sisanie thinks it is a spanish speaking station and blurts spanglish out all the time. Jessie is so fake and sounds like an idiot when he does commercials. dj drew just plain SUCKS. he has one mix that he plays over and over AND OVER again. I first learned of KIIS after many years on the east coast listening to Rick Dees Top 40 Countdown.... then I came out west and didn't really get to hear him as the SF Bay area didn't carry his Top40. Later on, I learned KIIS was streaming, and I was back in business, even listening to the morning show. Fast forward to the Seacrest Out kicking Dees out. On Air With Ryan Seacrest sets them apart from others; the 60 minute non stop KIIS music is great, and the weekend mixtapes are perfection. They have great DJs such as DJ Drew and DJ Alex Dreamz. But what the heck is this "Get a Mobile Wash" advertisement that is on my car's entertainment system display NON-STOP now? Instead of seeing the name of the song and artist, I have to look at the commercial (and it's in two places in my car). It's been there for months, and I'm tired of looking at it.
