I've been a longtime listener of Power 106 and have even won tickets a few times before, so I…read morenormally wouldn't leave a complaint. I really enjoy the station overall. I was caller number 10 today 5/1/2026 for the Katt Williams ticket giveaway, but the interaction with the man answering the phone lines for DJ E-Man felt pretty rude. When I got through, I was told I didn't sound excited enough. I explained that I was in the car and my baby was sleeping, so I couldn't be loud, but instead of understanding, they hung up and immediately moved on to the next caller. What made it more frustrating is that the next caller didn't sound overly excited either just speaking normally and still got through. That inconsistency didn't feel fair. Again, this isn't a complaint about Power 106 as a whole because I've always enjoyed listening and participating. I just think this particular interaction could have been handled with a bit more understanding and professionalism.
