Decided I wanted to treat myself to a great lunch and I had been seeing this ad on FB quite often . I was shocked at just how many times I had passed this location and never noticed it . The place is a decent size with a bar up front. I assumed the place would be packed since it was lunch time. Instead I was the only dine-in . I was okay with that . Immediately, Maggie seated me and took my order. I decided on the lunch special which included soup and salad. For my entree' I ordered the drunken shrimp noodles and I had a side of pork dumplings. Finally have a great thai place in west babylon! Moved here a year ago and have not been able to find a good thai spot. Saw this open and tried it for the first time last night. It was great. The panang curry and spicy basil chicken dishes were so flavorful. The chicken in the curry was juicy and not rubbery, could tell the chicken was cooked in the curry and not separately and than added afterward. The chicken satay was juicy and flavorful as well, first time in awhile I've had satay that wasnt just dry and plain. Prices were fair as well.Definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

Walked in for lunch 10 minutes before 3. I was immediately ready to order seeing the lunch special ends at 3. The waitress said it was 3 and I had to show her my clock. She reluctantly gave me the lunch orders. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and shrimp drunken noodles. The portion size was decent. Each dish only had 7 shrimp in each which were very small. Seeing the size of the shrimp and up charge, it should have 10-12 shrimp for the portion size given. The shrimp pad Thai tasted good. The drunken noodles were to sweet but tasty. Wow soo happily surprised by this place! I've been going to the other Thai spot in Lindenhurst because I couldn't find any good shrimp pad thai that delivers to Babylon. It was delivered 30 min before anticipated delivery and the food is great! Generous amount of shrimp in the pad thai. The dumplings were perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce it came with was better than the usual you get other places. And the soup was also really good. My family loves 109 Thaiana! We went for our second time last night, and the experience was once again amazing. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, there is a strong, sweet, and savory aroma that immediately gets you excited to eat. We ordered a few dishes - the Mee Ga-Ti, Basil Friend Rice, Massaman Curry, and Spicy Basil. They all were winners. Found this new little gem tonight! Since my fairly new move to NY from Dallas, TX, I have quickly learned how important Chinese or Thai takeout is up here. We went to a few places regularly, but stumbled on the closest spot to our home with very reasonable prices! Not only was it reasonable, but the food was the best thus far out of all the places we have tried. We ordered the Drunken noodles which were perfectly cooked, not clunky (best served in-house, not take-out) with an array of colors from the red bell peppers to the fresh basil, it was certainly most colorful than the drunken noodles at other places. We requested spicy, but later found out from Maggie that if we want it extra spicy (which we prefer) we have to order it Thai Spicy! The big plus is that they have a bar! We didnt see it on the menu, but they have beer, wine and liquor! Highly recommend the drunken noodle and we also enjoyed the Tom Kha Gay soup too. read more

It's wonderful that such a great Thai restaurant opened in the area. I've been a couple of times now and ordered different items every time. I've never been left disappointed. My favorite dish on the menu is the Drunken Noodles by far. They were delicious and when I asked for something to make it spicier, I was given chili powder that spiced it up perfectly. I love pad Thai but I hate fish sauce. Even though the dish is traditionally prepared with it I cannot detect any fishy flavor from this pad Thai at all. It is sweet, sour, and spicy. It may be more Americanized but that's the way I like it. Really delicious and accessible for anyone. Looking forward to trying their other dishes but in my opinion if a place nails pad Thai their other food will probably be just as good. We ordered from 109 Thaiana for the first time today. Due to the pandemic, we've gotten used to some wait times being longer than usual so 45min-1hour didn't really bother us. We got drunken noodle and Shrimp Pad Thai. The drunken noodle wasn't spicy AT ALL. If that's what you're hoping for, I suggest asking them to make it spicy(er) in that case. Nevertheless, it still had good flavor. The pad Thai had a pretty nice kick to it and I requested to omit scallions which was honored. It was delicious, however, the shrimp didn't taste fresh to me. They were sort of soggy and had this weird texture when I bit into it, really different from fresh, springy shrimp. I don't believe I've had Thai before trying this restaurant. I just picked up a lunch box, my third meal from there in less than 2 weeks. Wow! The food here is so fresh and delicious. I've had pork, shrimp , chicken all beautifully prepared. Maggie is so friendly and knowledgeable about the food preparation. My husband and I truly enjoyed our conversation with her. Pick up orders are ready in ten minutes, very fast. Spring rolls and dumplings are so light. The lemongrass pork is amazing.
