My favorite neighborhood Chinese place. I've been ordering takeout here for the last 10 years. I love their chicken lomein is delicious.

Peking has been around for many years. The owning family is very pleasant and very accommodating with customization. My order is usually the same chicken & broccoli and some appetizer to go along with it. Standard Chinese American take out, nothing fancy, dishes are light on the oil and big on taste. Due to the covid-19 situation, food took around an hour to arrive (which I was kindly informed of while placing the order) and though wary to order, the food was absolutely worth it. I decided to give Peking's a second chance last night mostly due to their location. They really have the best spot in town. I ordered the sesame chicken combination meal. The chicken was fine but the rice was flavorless. Also, the pork fried egg rolls were noticeable smaller than other places and full of oil. read more

I think these guys are great. Pretty overpriced for Thai food, but there are not many choices around - even still, they're good. I love their Pad See Ew, and pretty much all of their Thai curries. A little short on the meat, but you can ask for extra for like another dollar. They'll also make it spicy if you ask, and pretty much modify however you want. Also, they're General Tso's chicken is pretty good, the don't overdo it on the breading/batter and it's not too fried. Usually, when you go to a place that does more than one kind of Asian cuisine, they're not all that great, but these guys are pretty decent and both Thai and Chinese. They're also very friendly; one time I called in an order, and wasn't sure what kind of noodles I wanted (didn't have a menu with us), and the guy took the time to explain exactly the difference and was not rushing me at all, which I think goes a long way. What they should do is just put a menu available online somewhere. I see that somebody is claiming the owners stole their money, which seems kind of ridiculous, because I think they are super friendly. It is possible that you didn't see somebody go in and out and take your money. It's also kind of ridiculous for somebody else to boycott a place because somebody left money on the counter for some reason, and then lost it (Sorry Sal and Lara, just calling it like it is) - maybe file a police report. read more

As a former Deer Park resident, I was very saddened to hear the following from a friend of my Sisters. I will make sure that all the people I know if Deer Park should not support this business! "DONT EAT AT PEKING GARDEN in Deer park!! I have been going there for years and everyone in there knows me. I went in Sunday night to pick up dinner. By accident I left my bank envelope with all my money $1088. on the counter! I know $1088 I still can't believe it! There was no one in the store except the woman behind the counter and the cooks. After I got my food I sat in the car talking to my mom so no one went in the store for at least 7 min after I left. It was a big envelope and it was right in front of the register so I thought for sure the woman behind the counter took it and would give it back to me. WRONG! They pretended they knew nothing about it and told me the cameras didn't work. HOW CONVENIENT! After they told me they couldn't help me I went home and called them back hysterical crying I told them I'm a single mom and that was a lot of money. They told me call the police and hung up on me!!! If there were people in the store and someone found it it wouldn't have hurt as much as someone stealing from me! I truly believe in KARMA because even though she took my money she is going to lose a lot more than $1088 in business!!!" read more

We have lived in Deer Park for six years. For the first few years this place was good. One of the last time we ordered food there was a big problem with our food. We were sent dishes with pork fried rice and with chicken. We ordered vegetarian dishes. We had run out of the house and didn't get a chance to eat. When we went to eat about two hours later and discovered what happened, they wanted to know why we wait so long and when I explained they said they would not fill our original order unless we paid. Our shrimp with broccoli also had pieces of chicken in it. Needless to say we threw everything out. They have messed up shrimp rolls or lo mein orders before but never the whole order. BAD customer service. NEVER going to order from there again. read more

This used to be our go to Chinese place, but they changed owners sometime in the past 2 years and have gone steadily downhill ever since. Today is the day I say enough.. never again! We ordered 2 things and they were both horrible. Pork lo mein... Had some old pork and some new pork,,, yuck! First it was made with soba noodles not lo mein noodle...much thicker and made for soup. There were pieces of cooked pork and raw pork..like they added pork to an already cooked dish or the sign of a restaurant that doesn't sell its food and tries to resell it. Again Yuck. Also ordered plain lobster sauce, yes its on the menu (why I dont know but I ordered it because their shrimp sucks..they are nonexistent and tiny so I was gong to add my own) bad idea. it was like water with a few peas and nonexistent pork. Unedible! I will never and I emphasize NEVER go back to this place again. I would give no stars if you could....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...ANYWHERE ...really anywhere is better than this place. read more

I ordered form the Thai menu. Big mistake. I had Pad Thai. I mistakenly though I was safe with that. IT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR! It's obvious they don't have a clue about Thai food.
