Well, have had a membership for 8 yrs. Even stayed through Covid. Place is only ever clean in the mornings. I Constantly pick up weights and attachments just to keep my own sanity; as employees leaving the front counter seems to be too much work. Have had issues with not having my scan in card and employees turning me away to drive home to get it. Even though I've been a member longer than they have all worked there combined. Machines are still the same as when I started, with the occasional new machine that they cram into a free space providing limited walkways. Let's not start with the arrogant and egotistical Lighthouse crew who think because they work there that they have dibs to the equipment. All in all, this place kinda sucks. I have been a member here for years. I stopped going when Covid Hit and they stopped billing me automatically. I recently started back up and have signed on for a year of personal training. I see a bunch of folks belly aching about Lighthouse Fitness on here they don't hide charges Josh told me everything upfront. When they bring on trainers to train folks they need some kind of way to insure a stable income for folks and they are not a charity. You want free training advice get you a gym buddy that looks like you want to look and do what they do. I can't commit to someone at this point in my life and I need a little flexibility. My trainer has been good if I am going to be to late... moving me to a later slot. I am sure a day will come that he isn't able to accommodate me but for now we are good. The gym is older with some moisture issues from time to time but nothing to be to concerned about. The butlers do a good job of keeping the place picked up and tidy. It isn't uncommon to see them refilling the spray bottles or putting weights away during a 60 minute workout. Come don't expect anything for free and if you become a member or sign up for shit don't expect to cancel in the first year without a little hassle and added expense so they care take care of the folks they hired to help you out. verbally harassed by their 10GyM VP- A NEARLY NUDE EMPLOYEE WAS MAD AT ME BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT TO LOOK AT HER. I get a call 10gym Vice President Karen Mellon accusing me of Making someone uncomfortable. This person was, virtually naked from the waist down. I was so embarrassed, I pretended as if I was blind and let her do check in. I created levity to reduce my own stress of 10 Gym Management lack of Dress code for employees. The manager and crew should be disciplined. Pull recordings 11/5 6pm, Female employee standing up a ladder, with her skirt not covering anything. Meanwhile, she is in full few of gym members, allowing herself to be viewed from the bottom of the ladder, while she is inappropriately posing at the top. There were several boys lining up. This whole scene made me uncomfortable to the point I thought they were on drugs or something. I am far away from this disgusting scene. I finished my workout. What takes the cake, is the audacity of 10GYM Vice President to call and harass me for what looks like juvenile sexual behavior and possible drug use at your gym. Go pull the tapes. there is physical evidence I was trying to lighten an unmanaged environment. There is clear evidence of precisely one employee flaunting around in inappropriate nude state. My problem is why did I get a phone call over this? The VP said I Winked at her. The tape shows me putting my login - into the credit card machine!!! fanning blind is not a wink. it's an avoidance behavior to not see a nude employee. I put my login into in the credit machine, to show the camera how shocked I was by the dress code. I literally closed my eyes, so I didn't have to see such poor clothing choices. Leaving, I asked if there was any cocaine or other drugs in the lost and found. Listen to my words now. only drug people world be uncomfortable by this. The rest of us would laugh. this is not my wrongdoing but your problem. I would like a written apology for bothering me at my home. There is literally not a place I hate more than 10 gym. The personal training has no sense of what they are doing. My second session ever I got injured by the trainer. They still expect me to pay money for the training that injured me. If I don't like that I can just easily pay the $380 fee even though I got injured. Another thing I love about this gym is how many times they tell me things are taken care of just to get an extra dollar out of my pocket. They have lied and told me I'm completely out of their system 3 times, yet somehow I still managed to get billed every month for the gym and for personal training. Also they say you don't have to sign any long terms or commitments, but you do. I was told they don't require you to purchase for a whole year to be a member. Over all to this company I have lost so much money. I believe around $720 to just the personal training. read more

This spot used to be 24/7 American & then somehow they vanished & turned into 10 Gym. I've been a member for a month now & it's not too bad considering I don't like gyms too much. Paying to use someone's equipment and then the sweaty bodies everywhere, but only doing this to win a bet. So I need the extra kick. The equipment is all lightly used to new in here and they offer child car, tanning, dry sauna, showers, lockers, classes & even a personal trainer to speak with. I paid $1 to join & each month would be $20 and allowed total access to EVERYTHING & their other locations. My only gripe is that for the cheaper join/monthly fee is that I'm locked into it for 12 months unless I do the "buyout" of $79. Did I mention they are honoring Fitness 19 & old American gym memberships sanction here since they both closed? read more

Not only it the company charging a mint for a trainer that they see very little of ($8 of your $45) but they quit before you are a quarter of the way through your package. So... I paid for 24 session went through 3 trainers. The last 6 session were not worth the time to mess with and they got me off my schedule by waiting 3 weeks to offer another trainer.. Lighthouse Fitness Management refuses to talk to a customer and the mangers at the local level won't help you with getting some of your money refunded. I emailed 3 times without an answer. If you like working out and listening to slow jams, this is the place to be. If the music was more upbeat and they turned the heater off (it's like a sauna in here), it would be a 5 star work out exp. I really love the gym but I really despise that the news is on every TV in the facility. They put Foxnews on every single day on every single TV where there is no access to change the channel. I once asked about putting it on something neutral and not controversial but got told too bad so sad. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a gym. I signed up with Lighthouse. Fitness to be able to have a trainer. After I paid and did everything the trainer never got in contact with me. I'll texted several times. Finally got somebody to get in contact with me and told me the trainer had gone on vacation. Got set up with a separate met with him once. Set up another time to meet with him and then at 8:30 on a Saturday night he set up a new time for me that I couldn't make. The text went back-and-forth until 9 o'clock at night with him, making a comment that he felt obligated to meet with me since that was the time he said he would. When I tried to explain to corporate, this was not something that was working, considering the trainers were not doing what they were supposed to do and it had been a complete battle the entire time, they had zero interest in helping me. Now they're charging me upwards of $500 to get this taken care of and refused to cancel my membership so the total cost is going to be $1440. This is a complete scam the trainer I met with did not say anything about passing me onto another trainer until I signed all the paperwork. It has been a really bad experience and now they're refusing to cancel my membership. read more

Receptionist is nice and the gym is fine. But, the TV monitors constantly have the liberal news on and it drives me crazy. It is like a paid commercial for MSNBC and "The View". Some monitors have sports and that is great, but I object to having to have politics in the gym. read more

My husband & I love going to 10gym because of the childcare. The ladies that watch our daughter are very caring. My daughter is always excited to go to school.. That is what she calls the kids fun zone.. There has been times she doesn't want to leave. She loves Vanessa one of the ladies that work there. I love that I can enjoy my work out with out having to worry about my daughter. I have never had a problem. Over all I would recommend this gym. read more

Don't ever sign up with a 10 gym unless you plan on staying with them for the rest of your life. You will go in to sign up and they will rush you through signing your paper work which is actually only shown to you on their computer screen and they will leave out important information like even though they told you the basic membership is month to month and no contract they put you in a contract when you add childcare. Once you start they will pressure you into signing up with a personal trainer. If you move and there are no locations near you, you have to pay $80 with 30 days notice to be able to stop paying them every month. Which still gives them 5 months of your money when you can't even use their services. Also that is on top of them charging a random $60 fee 2ish months into your membership. So really them trying to pull off the $10 a month thing is a scam. Not that they spend any of your money on updating the gyms because the equipment in this gym is very old and some machines don't work properly and wobble and handles fall off of them. Do not waste your time or money here or at any other 10 gym. The people at their corporate office are rude and not accommodating in the slightest sense. They will find a way to screw you over and they do not care about their customers. read more

I've been a member for about a year and half, the new weight room addition has been great there is so much more space now and lots of new equipment. Gym is always pretty clean and staff is polite. I choose 10 gym because childcare was available and my kids love going. Another plus was being able to take a guest for free everyday. read more

I called to cancel, and they are telling me I have to pay for 30 days ahead of the date I cancel? Absolutely ridiculous, and all they would say is read my contract, but refused to email / mail / fax me a copy of it. It's not about the money, but the principal. I'm pretty disappointed. I leave for basic training on March 8th, so I called up a few days ago after finding out my orders, and they told me to come in and they can help me. Of course, happy at this point, I brought my contract in, and explained the situation, but they just gave me a small 1x4 piece of paper with two numbers on it, and told me to call, and that I'd have to mail my orders in. You'd think with all of the stress that I'm going through, that they would be more than helpful for someone that is willing to join, but nope. They were absolutely no help. I really like this gym. They are constantly attempting to improve and the morning staff rocks. I had a shape fitness but they were not as clean as this gym is. I value that the morning crew actually cleans equipment and mops and sweeps. There is an older man there in the morning that unlike most people these days takes pride in his job and it shows. A lot of times I take an exercise ball out to do sit ups and go to a machine and by the time I come back he has already put it up figuring someone left it lol. Me and the fam have had a membership here for maybe around 10 or so years, had to cancel about 2 months ago because I went to California for 2 months, I get back and am told that I can't renew my membership unless I pay the yearly/startup fees and the membership fees again so me and my buddy have been going to the gym and I've been his guest. Well my buddy worked at 4, he left to go to work and I stayed for a little longer not thinking it'd be a problem because of how long I have worked out there and how much money they've accumulated over me and my family over the past years. Well, one of the guys working there told one of the guys working out & currently in the middle of his set that he can't record himself working out. So him and his buddy left right after this happened and embarrassed the guy in front of everyone. Also, a few days before they walked up to my father embarrassing him in front of multiple people. It's just not cool, what's the point? What I'm getting at is they kicked me out after 10-20 mins of my friend being gone and I had to ask to finish the last few reps that I was doing because she interrupted me in the middle of my set telling me I had to leave. You will not be getting my business anymore, I'm not renewing my membership, I'm not giving any more positive feedback to anyone or referring people to 10 gym and I'm taking a few people with me to whatever gym I decide to give my money to from now on. You don't treat loyal customers like that. It's disrespectful and embarrassing. Y'all are destroying your company and it's not even just me that feels this way. It's turning into a place where people can't even go to have fun and enjoy a damn workout.
