Truly incredible dining in the most unexpected location (Jensen Beach, FL). 11 Maple offers elevated food, exquisitely presented, in a unique, homey environment. Only open Thursday through Sunday, and seemingly only a single seating - arrive between 6 and 7, 9pm close. Service was excellent, and dietary restrictions (vegetarian) were accommodated with advance notice. This would be a great spot for an anniversary dinner or other special occasion. Everything my family ordered was excellent, from the dense, moist loaf of walnut sourdough to the wahoo entree. Each entree is served on a thick wooden cutting board with an artful array of garnishes for maximal flavor and textures. My vegetarian board was "chefs choice" (you get what you get, no requests or options possible) and it was excellent! It basically had all the fun garnishes and veg components of the other entrees plus whole roasted sweet potato. I heard so much about this little gem of a place from so many and finally tonight - all that buzz is after all very true. Surprisingly the place is decades old but quietly aged like fine wine. Hubby and I started with walnut bread with 3 superb dips. Bread was so good I shamelessly asked to take home the little leftover piece. Martha, one of the servers, kindly obliged and gave a little packaged of leftover bread to go. We shared a beet salad. I have never seen salad presented in such an artful way. I have been to many Michelin starred restaurants around the world and 11 Maple can definitely compare with presentation - so pretty but not affected. The food - delicious and real. My wahoo dish partnered with calamari, kimchi and oozy soft boiled egg was superb and oh so fresh - the wooden board it was served on was clean when we were done with the dish. Hubby had short rib dish. He ate everything down to the lady green bean. Dessert was flourless chocolate cake drizzled with more chocolate and surrounded with sweet blueberries - the chocolate wedge was just as divine as the food we indulged in earlier. Service was very attentive. Robert, our server, explained everything to us. We felt so welcomed and well taken cared of. The restaurant itself by the way is small, pretty and cozy. Wow! Walking up to the restaurant, was absolutely beautiful! All of the wonderful greenery/ flowers is definitely what made the ambiance of this place ! As we sat outside, it was quite pleasant and peaceful. My daughter, who is 11 by the way, got the Duck, I ordered the Braised Short ribs and a friend decided on the Pan Fried Conch. When the server came out with these gorgeous, designed plates made with such intricate decoration, I was in awe! Not even to mention the taste, was even better then the look ! If you have an adventurous palette, this is the place to go. Very bold flavors! Be brave and order it all. We had the best table in the house...But there isn't a bad one. Every corner looks cozy. Different tables, different tablecloths, different shapes and different chairs. A crazy wonderful mix of styles that feels welcoming. Kathy was fabulous. She was lovely, attentive and personable. Her smile lit up the table. The ceviche was AMAZING. Big pieces of mango, pineapple, watermelon and a sprinkle of pomegranate were jewels on a plate of fresh scallops and salmon. We all wanted to drink the marinade from a shot glass. We loved the duck, tuna and wahoo. Every entree was served on a wooden board. We called ahead to ask if there were any vegan options and they confirmed with the chef they could do something for me. My friends all had non vegan options and loved everything! I had this absolutely magnificent veggie board that was so obviously made with love from the chef. You can tell by the quality and presentation of each dish that the chef really cares. The service was nice, the atmosphere was nice and the food was excellent!! I recommend the sourdough bread and the veggie options FOR SURE!!! This is a perfect little restaurant. I would come here all the time if I lived here but I think most people would use this place as a celebration dinner spot. The prices were very reasonable for the quality. This restaurant is a gem. It is quaint little house with an eclectic vibe. The staff is very friendly and the food is outstanding. We ordered the crab cake and the wahoo. The crab cake had so little filler a slight touch of the fork and it stays to fall apart...just perfect! The wahoo plate takes your pallet through so many flavor profiles there are too many to list. The food was outstanding. There was not a complaint in regards to the food or presentation. I thought the prices were fair for the food. I will however say the the bottles of wine were very overpriced there was some 20$ bottles marked for 100$ which is a little much in my opinion for the quality... The presentation of each dish was so beautiful and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cute and romantic. It was honestly a breath of fresh air to know that there is quality out there close by. I def recommend this place to anyone to try at least once. It's been around for 40 years and the same chef has been there for the 40 years. All of the waitresses were older lady's and they fit the ambiance perfectly. I will def be back here to dine again! Went to 11 Maple in Jensen last night, as we have to celebrate many occasions over the years. Sadly, food quality has gone downhill, especially as their prices have gone up. And the owner/cook has a bad attitude when we talked to him about over-cooked elk (my favorite). The servers and guests WERE apologetic about the whole situation - just not him. We were surprised how empty they were on a Saturday night and now we know why. We'll stick to Kyle G's, Gafford, Boat House and Sailors Return! They never disappoint!! read more

Birthday dinner was especially special this year! 11Maple Street is a perfect place to celebrate any occasion, or if you are just looking for that quiet, intimate dinner. This old house has been transformed into a quaint dining experience. They are only open Thursday-Saturday and have three seating times, so reservations are highly recommended. The food was delicious! The wine selection was pretty good, too. We ate the focaccia as a starter. It was absolutely divine, goat cheese, roasted garlic, and herbs. Need I say more. My daughter had the lump crabcake with fried green tomatoes made to perfection. The hubby had the fork tender braised short Rib with Wasabi mashed potatoes. I chose the oak grilled duck breast and leg accompanied with a root vegetable mash. And the grand finale - peanut butter pie. If you are a buckeye lover, then this is your dessert. Made a reservation after we walked by this place after dark and saw the beautiful, eclectic ambiance of this old converted home. We decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary here and were not disappointed. Service and food were a wonderful combination. We felt pampered and loved the food, visuals and entire evening. Dinner for four was superb: yellow fin tuna, cooked perfectly, short ribs, ditto, and my duck breast with confit leg, root vegetable mash. Went around asking locals what restaurant they suggested and the majority of them mentioned 11 Maple Street. After checking Google I was disappointed to see they were already closed. I checked another place nearby and ran there hoping we could make it and they would take us before it closed. After being sat down is when I realized we were inside of this restaurant, not the other. What a surprise! My mouth watered as I started typing this... One of the best meals I've honestly ever had. The spreads were unreal, so flavorful. the ceviche was more of a tartare but still good. The duck?! Oh my, soooooo sooo good!! Incredibly decadent, the mash was so smooth. If you find yourself in the area please stop by and have the duck. Wow! Most "fancy" restaurants you go to now days have pretty much given up on presentation but not at 11Maple! Everything was not only a work of art, but deliciously prepared. The servings are pretty large but don't skip the homemade bread! The place is kind of tight and they only do 2-3 dinner services a night so make reservations! It's very cute inside though. Came here tonight for my Wife's birthday. I can't believe we haven't been here in 7 years but it's still just as amazing as I remember it. I had the short ribs and my wife had the tuna. Hands down the BEST short ribs I've ever had. I tried her fish as well and it was excellent. Lovely cozy quaint restaurant for her special occasion. We definitely need to come back more often. We went this evening to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Really great place, it's a house and gardens that is just darling. I had the short rib with boniato mash, string beans, fried whole ocra and creamed corn puree. The short rib was beautifully cooked, it was so tender and flavorful...I'm not sure what they seasoned with but it made my tastebuds dance; really delicious! My husb had a crab cake on top of a fried green tomato, looked really good and he enjoyed. Our daughter had the wagu hanger steak, with spinach, green beans, portabello mushrooms and a crispy potato, she loved it!! I swear the meat which was cooked med rare melted in my mouth, so so good. Our son in law had the wahoo loin with scallops he enjoyed. My husb tried that too and said it was really good. Their plates are artistry, picture perfect! Check out the menu online and I can assure you that it tastes even better than it looks!! While the Hamachi appetizer was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet with the caramelized ginger playing counter to the house made spice mixture, the octopus had a meaty quality while remaining tender that few can accomplish. As a chef, I am usually very critical of my meals and end up picking it apart and criticizing what is wrong with the recipe or preparation of the meal. It always takes away from the dining experience and I normally am disappointed in some aspect of my meal.. Eating at Maple street was a true epicurean delight.
