    Pan fried conch
    Nicole H.

Wow! Walking up to the restaurant, was absolutely beautiful! All of the wonderful greenery/ flowers is definitely what made the ambiance of this place ! As we sat outside, it was quite pleasant and peaceful. My daughter, who is 11 by the way, got the Duck, I ordered the Braised Short ribs and a friend decided on the Pan Fried Conch. When the server came out with these gorgeous, designed plates made with such intricate decoration, I was in awe! Not even to mention the taste, was even better then the look ! The one thing needed to know is that the Conch has a Heavy Basalmic drizzle!!! BUT with the pairing fruit salsa-like dip, is was a delightful flavor! Will definitely be back to try more meals! Thank you !

If you have an adventurous palette, this is the place to go. Very bold flavors! Be brave and order it all. We had the best table in the house...But there isn't a bad one. Every corner looks cozy. Different tables, different tablecloths, different shapes and different chairs. A crazy wonderful mix of styles that feels welcoming. Kathy was fabulous. She was lovely, attentive and personable. Her smile lit up the table. The ceviche was AMAZING. Big pieces of mango, pineapple, watermelon and a sprinkle of pomegranate were jewels on a plate of fresh scallops and salmon. We all wanted to drink the marinade from a shot glass. We loved the duck, tuna and wahoo. Every entree was served on a wooden board. The serving boards were like a palette of paint, both rich and vibrant. Order the bread and leave room for dessert. It was a standout meal. Delicious and a work of art. It was world class food in your eccentric, great aunt's house.

A small, quaint and romantic restaurant with an eclectic and homey vibe. Superior dining experience with exceptional service -thank you Suzan! An unforgettable evening.

This restaurant is a gem. It is quaint little house with an eclectic vibe. The staff is very friendly and the food is outstanding. We ordered the crab cake and the wahoo. The crab cake had so little filler a slight touch of the fork and it stays to fall apart...just perfect! The wahoo plate takes your pallet through so many flavor profiles there are too many to list. Just take my advice and order it. You will be very glad you did. The chef here is just amazing!

The food was outstanding. There was not a complaint in regards to the food or presentation. I thought the prices were fair for the food. I will however say the the bottles of wine were very overpriced there was some 20$ bottles marked for 100$ which is a little much in my opinion for the quality... The presentation of each dish was so beautiful and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cute and romantic. It was honestly a breath of fresh air to know that there is quality out there close by. I def recommend this place to anyone to try at least once. It's been around for 40 years and the same chef has been there for the 40 years. All of the waitresses were older lady's and they fit the ambiance perfectly. I will def be back here to dine again! They are only open 3 days a week for a few hours so I def recommend calling for reservations.

Birthday dinner was especially special this year! 11Maple Street is a perfect place to celebrate any occasion, or if you are just looking for that quiet, intimate dinner. This old house has been transformed into a quaint dining experience. They are only open Thursday-Saturday and have three seating times, so reservations are highly recommended. The food was delicious! The wine selection was pretty good, too. We ate the focaccia as a starter. It was absolutely divine, goat cheese, roasted garlic, and herbs. Need I say more. My daughter had the lump crabcake with fried green tomatoes made to perfection. The hubby had the fork tender braised short Rib with Wasabi mashed potatoes. I chose the oak grilled duck breast and leg accompanied with a root vegetable mash. And the grand finale - peanut butter pie. If you are a buckeye lover, then this is your dessert. Thick peanut butter pie topped by a chocolate ganache. The experience is a bit pricey but worth it, in my opinion. Definitely going back.

Made a reservation after we walked by this place after dark and saw the beautiful, eclectic ambiance of this old converted home. We decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary here and were not disappointed. Service and food were a wonderful combination. We felt pampered and loved the food, visuals and entire evening. We so enjoyed it, that we came back the following week just to have a glass of wine & split another chocolate tort dessert. Yum!!!!! On our first trip, we had the focaccia, pan fried Turks & Caicos pan fried conch, elk and flourless chocolate torte. We also split a glass of wine with each course. Way to go! 11 Maple makes for a memorable evening. We will be back.

Went around asking locals what restaurant they suggested and the majority of them mentioned 11 Maple Street. After checking Google I was disappointed to see they were already closed. I checked another place nearby and ran there hoping we could make it and they would take us before it closed. After being sat down is when I realized we were inside of this restaurant, not the other. What a surprise! My mouth watered as I started typing this... One of the best meals I've honestly ever had. The spreads were unreal, so flavorful. the ceviche was more of a tartare but still good. The duck?! Oh my, soooooo sooo good!! Incredibly decadent, the mash was so smooth. If you find yourself in the area please stop by and have the duck. Like I mentioned before, one of the best meals I have ever had.

He had it for a while, God only knows what data base I'm now part of, but hey, great reviews, let's go. The guard gave my license back as well as a parking permit. Asked about the restaurant, he said drive to the stop sign and turn left. There's a row of shops and a Sauders sign. Did get a tiny bit confusing...none of the storefronts was Sauders. There was a dingy looking alley opening...found them. Walking down this dingy alley (there were three old window a/c units running up high, I mean old, tired, dirty and all three are dripping water into buckets below them on the concrete). We get to a tired residential screen door and that is the entrance. We were greeted right away. Said two for dinner. The hostess asked if we had reservations...we said no. We asked to sit inside. This is not the restaurants fault, but the marina is under construction, there are no docks or boats outside the windows, just rebar and dirt, however the windows and screens were dirty. There are dive bars and old restaurants with charm, Sauders is neither. Inside it just looks very tired and extremely dated You know how Restaurant Impossible or Bar Rescue showes usually start, with John Tapper and Robert Irving having a lot to say. They would have a lot to say at Sauder's. Carolyn, our server, lived up to the reviews that mention her. She was prompt, knew all the specials and did a good job throughout our meal. We ordered some Calemari. The batter was falling off, so if you tried to pick up a piece, you basically had a piece of squid. The marinara sauce was hot and had a good flavor. We had the shrimp linguine Alfredo. There were plenty of shrimp. Tha pasta was spaghetti, not linguine, but cooked properly. Could have had a little more sauce but tasted OK. The meal came with a salad. Everything was fresh, cold and crisp. Carolyn informed us the thousand island was made at the restaurant and it was OK. Summary...the food was ok, the dining room was tired, oh yeah, the rest rooms were behind doors rusting under their paint in that dingy alley and my wife said the one she went into was not nice. I honestly don't know how you could give this a 4 or 5 rating. If I knew what we were going to experience, I'd never give my driver's license to that guard and we would find another of the many seafood places in town. Sorry Sauder's, you need to make an investment in your business.

I would have preferred wonton chips or tortilla chips. We also had the crab fritters, these were delicious and plentiful for two people and the Burrata salad. We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The owner stopped by our table, to ask how we liked it. He was gracious and told us his story how he bought the placed and design a menu along with the Chef. That was a plus. They also have music for dinner. Parking is street. The Tram goes around and it will leave you at this restaurant from the large parking lot. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The clams were served inside a bread-like pastry. My husband especially enjoyed that part, while I skipped the bread and dug right into the clams--they were fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and just as good. One unexpected bit of entertainment came from the couple seated next to us. It sounded like they were on a first date, and while I certainly wasn't trying to eavesdrop, they were talking so loudly it was impossible not to overhear! They seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it added a lighthearted touch to our lunch. Hope springs eternal! Overall, I was very happy with both our meal and the beautiful waterfront setting. I'd definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through Stuart. The only thing that gave me pause was the dinner menu, which looked a bit pricey, but for lunch this was a very enjoyable stop. You don't need a reservation for lunch so that was a plus. A Meal So Good Heaven Might Ask About It…read more Some dinners fill you up. Some dinners impress you. And then there are dinners like the one we had at Chef's Table in Stuart--the kind of meal that feels like it was designed by someone who understands that food is more than nourishment... it's memory. We went to celebrate my son's birthday, and before the first bite even arrived, the experience had already begun. The menus were printed with "Happy Birthday" and his name, a small but thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire evening. It felt personal, intentional--like the night had been prepared just for him. And then the food arrived. I ordered the Bolognese, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the kind of dish you quietly pause for after the first bite. Rich, layered, perfectly balanced--every strand of pasta coated in a sauce that tasted like it had been simmering since the Renaissance. Comforting but refined. Rustic but elegant. It was the sort of plate where conversation stops for a moment because everyone is too busy appreciating what's happening. Across the table, the beef Wellington was a masterpiece. Perfectly pink at the center, wrapped in golden pastry that shattered delicately with each cut, surrounded by a sauce so good it deserved its own applause. The entire meal felt like one of those rare experiences where craft, hospitality, and atmosphere align perfectly. The lighting, the pacing of the courses, the warmth of the service--it all made the night feel like something special was unfolding. If someone told me this would be my last meal on Earth, I wouldn't complain. In fact, I'd probably smile knowing that when I got to the gates, the angels might lean over and ask: "Wait... was it really as good as they say?" And I'd tell them the truth. Yes. It absolutely was. Thank you to the team at Chef's Table for giving my son a birthday dinner we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

But, don't let that first impression fool you. THE AMBIANCE: Once you climb the stairs (yes they have an outdoor elevator), you'll enter a wide expanse of the St Lucie River with hundreds of boats at dock. The view is simply stunning. You can choose to sit inside (why you'd make this choice is beyond me), or if you like music, choose the active fun loving crowd on the patio bar or dine dockside where you'll have an expansive view of the river. We chose the latter. Either way, this is an experience dining unlike any other in the Stuart area. THE SERVICE: We were served by Anna. With a smile and a an enthusiasm that showed she loved her job, she explained a bit of the history of the restaurant and gave a thorough overview of the offerings. Anna was a servers server who knew when to stop by without being intrusive, when to fill our glasses and when to be there when we needed her. I'm not sure if all the serving staff are as good as Anna but, If you're lucky enough to get one of her tables count your blessings. Even the buss boys served with a smile and efficiency that you don't often see. On one occasion one of our party spilled catchup and asked for an additional napkin. The buss boy didn't go and tell the server (which is the norm) but instead "immediately" returned with a napkin and cleaned the spill himself. In today's "I hate my job" world, it was so nice to experience a time when staff served with a smile that conveyed "I love my job"! THE FOOD: For our appetiser, we chose to share a bowl of their Maryland Crab Soup. The menu states "Tomato broth, vegetables, crab meat". Doesn't sound like much, right? But, don't let that simple description fool you, this slightly spicy soup was a delicious meal in itself. I highly recommend you share a bowl if you intend to leave room for an entree. For our entrees, my lovely bride chose to start with the Tide Chopped Salad which features fresh greens, tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, radish, and avocado, graced with an outstanding sherry vinaigrette. From there she chose the Steak and Shrimp combo which featured a 10oz NY Strip & 3 jumbo fried shrimp. She added the garlic mashed potatoes. Her mashed potatoes were scrumptious and her jumbo shrimp combined a crispy breadcrumb topping complimenting the juicy shrimp within. Tough and a bit grizzly, unfortunately, the steak was the outlier to the rest of the dish. I chose the Steak & Cake combo with coconut rice and macaroni and cheese sides. Because they're usually bread cakes with a few pieces of crab hidden throughout, I'm not usually a crab cake lover but, Anna Banana (her suggestion of a name) convinced me that, because the new owner came from Maryland and brought with him his family crab cake recipe, I needed to "experience" the best crab cake I'll ever have, and so, I took the plunge. Sadly, my steak was just as poor a cut of beef as my wife's but those crab cakes... oh those crab cakes were everything Anna Banana said, and than some! I've never had a crab cake that came close! The crab cakes come with a mustard base dipping sauce but, believe me, you'll not want to mar the perfection by dipping. My sides were also great. The coconut rice was not overpowering with just a hint of coconut as an aftertaste and my macaroni & cheese (which I don't usually order unless I have kids with me) was creamy and cheesy. For dessert, we decided to try the Key Lime pie. Not sure about the rest of the desserts but the Key Lime pie was a definite winner with just the right tartness resting on a tasty graham cracker crust (as a true Key Lime pie should have) and a wonderfully creamy texture. THE BOTTOM LINE: As with all my reviews the "customer so what" is would I come back? Even though I'd stay away from the steaks, you bet I'd come back! I would ask for the deck dining room, be seated in Anna "Bananas" serving area and make sure I included those out of this world crab cakes in my meal!

I had a very disappointing lunch experience at TideHouse in Stuart…read more The food quality was awful, but the worst part was finding a human hair in one of our meals. We immediately brought it to our server's attention. She was apologetic and initially tried to remove the contaminated item from our bill, but after speaking with the manager, she came back and told us the manager would not allow it to be removed. To make matters worse, we later noticed that an additional item we never ordered was also charged on our receipt. Mistakes can happen at any restaurant, but what matters is how management responds. Finding a human hair in a meal is unacceptable, and refusing to remove the item from the bill shows a complete lack of customer service. Being charged for an extra item only added to the frustration. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had, and I cannot recommend TideHouse based on the food quality, management's handling of the situation, and the billing errors.
