The owner shared that the idea started because he couldn't find cheesecake around the Triad that he really loved, so he started baking his own. After making them for friends and hearing constant encouragement, he decided to turn it into a business. It's always interesting hearing how local businesses get started, and this one felt very organic and community driven. He's even appeared on Food Network shows like Holiday Baking Championship and Chopped, which has helped bring visitors from out of state to High Point just to try the cheesecake.
