Super cute sweet and decors inside the store. Bathrooms were unavailable to the public though.. so it's hard to sit there a drink and enjoy yourself, then not being able to use the restroom. Coming to visit family here allowed me to try the bubble tea places in the area! Tik Tok was in a very convenient place near some restaurants in the Nguyen Plaza! When I came in, the interior was beautiful with nice colors and cute furniture. It also smelled amazing! There were so many people inside, so I knew it had to be a special spot! I got the Thai Tea with boba, and it was super delicious! The tea was very flavorful and the boba was nice and chewy. Tik Tok Snow & Tea is such a plus to the Vietnamese/Asian American community in Greensboro! My sister and I are always craving bubble tea so when we saw the little paper advertisement hanging outside the door of Dong Phuong Oriental, we knew we had to check it out. Because it was so new and barely had any reviews on Yelp, I was a little skeptical, but luckily it was just across the street from Dong Phuong in the same shopping center as the banh mi shop we usually frequent, so it wasn't too much of a hassle to get to. When we stepped into the shop, my sister and I were pleasantly surprised to see how modern it was given how plain and simple other Asian establishments in the area were. I was also surprised at how spacious it was because I'm used to tiny bubble tea shops in Northern Virginia. There were at least three different distinct areas you could take pictures in, so they were definitely aware of current trends in bubble tea shop decor: I should have expected nothing less from a shop with a name synonymous to a popular social media app. Decor aside, the drinks were very impressive as well although they do come with a lofty price tag. However, the drink does come in a decently sized cup. Additionally, the staff was super helpful when it came to my vegan preferences. There were a lot of vegan options, but I opted for one of their top drinks, the passionfruit green tea. I usually don't like passionfruit green tea because it is a little sour, but this one was the right amount of sweetness. Because of the variety of options we had to filter through for vegan-ness, my sister had a longer time choosing her drink, but luckily there weren't any customers behind us so she had plenty of time to ask questions and decide, another luxury you don't usually get in bigger Metropolitan areas like Northern Virginia. She ultimately decided on the soursop slush, a fruit we'd never seen on a bubble tea menu before, and it was delicious. I wish I could have drank both mine and hers. I've been there a couple times, and with my family, so we've tried a variety of things. The boba are always good, but so is everything else. Came here and it was amazing from the service to the drinks! Came about a week later with my family and there was a different cashier and all of our drinks tasted horrible. Not only did she mess up my drink the first time but the two ladies did not want to rectify the issue. I asked for the head manager and the little girl got on the phone with her manager to say I had an attitude when all I wanted was a remake since I boasted about this place so much to my family.
