I reached out to my Dr.'s office and asked for a new script for either item, that way I can continue to check my glucose. They let me know that they spoke with someone at the pharmacy and he said he would make the change. I responded, "well it's more like a return or..." and before I could finish my thought, she interjected and said they can't take returns its CVS policy. I said, "ok, we'll I'm not sure what to do because the lancet device and lancets I received don't go together" and again, before I could finish my thought, she interjected again with the same response... that they can't take it back, it's CVS policy. I then had to explain that I contacted my Dr and she let me know she spoke with someone there who said they could change it. That's when the gentleman there spoke and said that he was the one who spoke to her and let her know he would be ordering a new device, but that it probably wouldn't be til Monday. Fine, thank you. I understand they have a ton of work to do, but a simple, "we're not able to take returns, but tell me what's going on and I'll see if there's something else we can do to help," would've gone a long way.
