Third time coming to the Lavender Festival. First time was back in 2019. And I was in paradise. What a beautiful place I thought. Then I came with my mom and sisters in 2022 and had an amazing time. Not sure why I didn't write a review back then, probably forgot. Yesterday my husband and son joined me to visit the festival. We had an amazing time. Got here at 5 pm and stayed til sunset. The grounds are beautiful. The little cottages selling gifts, candles, plants, etc is fun to visit. The lavender flavored drinks, dessert and food were delicious. We got a steak sandwich, a chicken sandwich and a sourdough pizza. Loved it all. The lavender lemonade was so good I got it twice. The lavender ice cream we shared was amazing with the lavender latte. Overall the food options are amazing here and prices are reasonable. The lavender plants are beautiful to look at. You can walk around for hours. I enjoyed watching the sunset, so so wonderful. The products sold here is organic and amazing smells heavenly. I wish this place was closer to home I would have probably visited every week. Overall it's great to visit the farm. Check out their website for their upcoming events cause they have many seasonal events. I promised my self to come back for the Christmas event. Will be beautiful.

Love this place! We purchased the Family membership. This includes entry to most of their events year-round and discounts. It's a great place to go to get away from the city for a little while. To enjoy farm fresh crafts, foods drinks, live music, art, and of course, to take beautiful photos if you enjoy that sort of thing. Everyone who works at the farm is typically very helpful. Different events through the year offer different opportunities highlighting some of their specialties.

123 Farms is beautiful place to take the family or go on a date day or night. Warm but charming during the day and magiclal with Mattie lit up by hanging chandeliers and lights. The food is delicious especially the fig and goat cheese pizza and lavender lemonade! There are usually live singers and little boutique shops to check out for unique gifts . They also sell balsamic vinegars you can sample .. mission fig is my fav... check this place out while the lavender are all blooming!

What a cool place We got to experience the Sourdough Festival this past weekend. They had stamps and a passport card that allowed you visit each Sourdough station. We also got to explore the grounds and found some cool shops and the place called The Courtyard. Also got some yummy matcha in the Matcha room. A fun spot for families and kiddos to run around and explore. It's giving Bridgerton vibes.Definitley will be back soon for future events!

This is our 3rd year going to 123 farm. We recently purchased the VIP annual pass that comes with free parking and 10% off in their shops. Our favorite time to go is during Christmas and Valentine's Day. Sourdough and tea times are also great. The hot cocoa during Christmas is amazing and so is their lavender raspberry honey blonde ale. This place is nice for pictures and they also have fun scavenger hunts. You can win cute prizes like enamel pins and stickers during different times of the year. Overall lovely place!

It was my first time at the 123 Farm and we were invited by someone who has an annual membership. We originally purchased tix to the Tea Nights Festival that would begin that evening at 5:00pm, but there was also Sourdough Festival that was running in conjunction during the day, and so we decided to get there early to experience both. Our group of 9 explored the different areas at the Sourdough and Tea Festivals and enjoyed all the different samples, food, drinks, and live music. There were lots of fresh pastries, bread, and hot foods for purchase. Get there early to get the best selection, because the hordes of hungry folks start coming in after 1:00pm in the afternoon and then there are long lines for everything. We tried the Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza which was really good. We both agreed that we'd add mozzarella cheese next time. It is very good as is, but we just think some melty mozz could only make it more delicious. The Margherita Pizza was just meh. It was made the traditional way with tomato sauce as the base with dollops of melted fresh mozzarella and whole basil leaves wilted on top. I prefer the one with slices of tomato on top of a base of marinara and melty, ooey, gooey shredded mozzarella cheese. Nevermind all that, because the standout on both pizzas was the crust. I was entranced while eating this pizza and discovering the delicious, wood-fired crispy crust and fluffy, pillowy end pieces with seasonings and herbs lightly adding flavor to each piece. You won't understand until you try it for yourself, and then you'll say an enthusiastic "ohhh!" You can thank me later. The chicken pot pie was really delicious. The soup was so warm and comforting. It was flavorful and had lots of chicken and veggies in it. So sorry I forgot to take pics of what I ate cuz I was so hungry! FYI: The pot pie was supposed to come in a special cast iron skillet that you can take home, but I guess it was so popular, because they ran out and began serving it in a sourdough bread bowl. Sad that I missed out on the skillet but I'll try and get one next year. The Matcha Room has the very best drinks, according to my son who sucked down 2 strawberry matcha lattes. Sadly I wasn't able to try any of the matcha drinks because I'm lactose and they only had whole milk. I hope they decide to add a milk substitute option in the future. Maybe if enough people start asking/requesting for it they will. I did get some desserts to try from The Matcha Room. The Matcha Tiramisu and the Biscoff Matcha Cupcake. Tiramisu had no flavor of matcha and was pretty bland; not sweet at all. The cupcake was very sweet and I liked it more than the tiramisu. The chocolate cake was slightly dry and the frosting was very rich but very tasty. The portion of Biscoff cookie on top for decoration was soft and soggy so I didn't eat that. I'll probably pass on the desserts next time. Why I only gave 4 stars is because the area is not very handicap accessible due to the gravel roads and wood chip areas of the farm, which I knew about prior to going and so I'm not deducting a star for that. But mainly due to the small building where they hold the tea and sourdough samples portion of the festival (which is also the store/bakery). The area is not large/wide enough to stay on my small, lightweight mobility scooter to peruse, shop, and taste the products presented, because the lines are set up to zig-zag back and forth and the scooter is just not made for navigating tight spaces. It was very full and very crowded with people on this Saturday afternoon's Tea Festival. There was one very kind woman who saw me waiting for one of the serve yourself teas and she offered to fill my cup for me. Most people wouldn't move out of the way, acknowledge me, or even be courteous to me. I felt very defeated and decided to stay in the outer perimeters of the room, but fortunately I had family with me that stood in the lines to get me the samples that I was unable to access. Another issue was that the cash register for purchasing any of the teas/sourdough/goods was down a short flight of stairs, but fortunately at the opposite end was a ramp. The ramp turned out to be useless to me, because the line went only one way and that would have required me to launch me and my scooter down the stairs. I did try using the ramp to go downstairs and get in the line, but with the two lines of shoppers waiting to cash out along with the multiple glass product display stands, there was no room to turn myself around to face the same direction the line was going in. For the next festivals, I'll rent a heavy duty mobility scooter with large wheels to easily maneuver through those hills and rocky roads. Then, I'd park that big contraption somewhere and pull out my small, lightweight walker to get into the smaller rooms and tight spaces. Hopefully these changes will allow me to have a much more enjoyable time.

I've been visiting 123 Farm for several years now. Over the years they change things up for their annual Lavender Fest (one of my favorite events). The photo ops and spending time with loved ones and friends is always worth the drive. The food is just okay - nothing worth raving about other than the Lavender Lemonade. More of an influencer paradise but a tradition for my mother and I.

What a wonderful Christmas experience here! I actually came on the last weekend after new year's and it wasn't too busy. This was lovely since I got to enjoy everything without it being too crowded. I went in without much expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. It wasn't only just photo spots with beautiful lights, but also had many food spots and the cutest shops. You can basically walk anywhere all over the farm. The provided map was not really too scale so I was a bit disoriented but it didn't really matter since you can just walk and explore! Food was quite pricey. I didn't try the food itself since I was with someone that is vegan and they had no vegan-friendly foods. But we did get the lavender raspberry honey beer which was really delicious. It is more on the sweeter side which is great for me because I don't love beers that much. Bathrooms were either in a mobile van thing or it was the bathrooms in the hotel rooms. I went to the one in the hotel room. The set up was weird and kinda creepy. There is both a sink inside the actual bathroom without soap and another sink right outside of the bathroom in the hotel room hallway with soap and paper towels. Wasn't the cleanest but it wasn't super dirty either We ended up buying parking there. Seems like some people said you can park on the street but everything I saw said no parking the entire block or no parking due to fire lanes.

This place is absolutely breathtaking. I was invited by a friend to check it out with our kiddos for Valentines and was so happy I went. The lights are beautiful, tons of good food to try and shopping to do. A must go and worth the drive from San Diego or surrounding areas!! Can't wait to go back for another event.

NEW Country Festival was great!!! Music throughout the day and evening. Cowboy hats galore! The main hall decor was changed to reflect the new festival. The Matcha Room was oh-so YUM. I recommend the matcha flight (see pic). There were vintage photographs spread throughout the area before the Flower Market. Great way to spend the weekend!!!

Christmas time at 123 Farm is truly a sparkling experience. Thousands of twinkling lights create the most festive atmosphere, with beautiful displays everywhere you turn. The food, treats, and drinks were all delicious, and there were so many cozy spots to enjoy everything. Parking is limited, so planning ahead is a must--but it's absolutely worth it. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which really elevated the entire experience. We had such a great time that we became annual pass members and are already looking forward to coming back for the Sourdough Festival and Lavender Festival. There are endless photo opportunities throughout the farm, and the s'more pits are such a fun touch for families to gather and make memories. Overall, we highly recommend 123 Farm. It's well worth the drive and the ticket price, and we can't wait to return.

Wow !!! My mom has a VIP membership and we go for various festivals. This festival was the tea festival. So amazing the atmosphere, the ambiance, the customer service was an amazing. They had tea stations each station featured a different tea. You had to stamp your passport after your completed trying each tea. My sister and I had crème brûlée and it was amazing and you get to keep the dish. The food was great, the pizza yummy on sourdough, the lavender lemonade was a chefs kiss one of my favorites. I can go on and on about this particular festival I honestly recommend this more than the Christmas festival.

We LOVE 123 Farms! If you are in the area, we recommend getting a membership (breaks even with two trips!). It comes with parking and you get a discount at 123 Farm food and store. There are kid friendly activities and great things for couples. They have s'mores pits, outdoor games, and beautiful lights & decorations. It's worth going for every festival. The fig & goat cheese pizza is a MUST. I inhale that thing! The olive matcha tea powder is delicious (you buy a container and make at home. It's worth it!!!)

123 Farm Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - 123 Farm

Is there seating for the concerts?

Yes. There are lounge chairs as well as dining tables with chairs. You are also welcome to bring your own lawn chairs too.

My daughter has a nut allergy. Has anyone with food allergies found a place to eat there?

I cannot answer to the nut allergy but they have limited food and are not really set up to accommodate. My family has several food allergies and we eat before going and usually just stick to drinks to be safe.

Are there vegan options for food?

Yes but limited... always check their menu changes in every event

Does the VIP membership guarantee parking or give any special consideration for parking?

Yes, we have the VIP membership and it does include standard parking.

    Is this place wheelchair accessible?

It is mostly flat but rocky and sandy some ups and downs so yes but it's complicated .

    Is allow dog go inside?

No. They have roaming farm dogs that are nice to people but not nice to other dogs, so no dogs allowed.

Do they have free handicap parking? Any designated handicap spots?

For preferred parking, if you are with a larger group it's worth it (saves you a bit of walking) but otherwise you can park right across the farm for free and just walk over - you just need to get there early enough (or else you need to walk more)!

What's a good time for arrival for Lavender Nights on a Sunday?

    Is there a cover charge?

A few years a go there was not a cover charge. In 2021 I didn't pay at all until the Xmas season. So not sure if it is Xmas time only or indefinitely moving forward.

Are dogs allowed on the farm?

No, they're very strict about that.

Is this place baby stroller friendly?

    YES! TOTALLY FAMILY FRIENDLY!

    Does this happen annually?

Yes. They have the lavender festival and the Christmas Village each year.

How was weather like ? Is it really hot?

I went in May and it actually was a little chilly in the afternoon. They have lots and lots of trees that provide shade. Now in July, I'm sure it will feel very hot in the lavender fields when you are in direct sunlight but you should have shade in… Read more

Are they having the Chili Festival this year?

In 2021, after the lavender market nights, they will have the Christmas Nights. No Chili Festival this year.

During the lavender season, the tickets are a bit pricey alongside parking. The farm itself has numerous activities to do, picturesque moments, and different foods to try. My fiancé and I have attended the lavender festival three times already, so we knew what to expect. We avoided the foods we didn't enjoy last time, and tried new items. We ordered their carne asada tacos, croissant beignets, their peach sangria, and more. If you're planning to come here, I'd suggest eating beforehand, because the food is not good. Their tacos are dry; the meat and the tortilla feel like separate entities. Their croissant beignets on the other hand were absolutely phenomenal. It's exactly what you'd expect and it was amazing! Their drinks are good here, too. I had their lavender margarita which was absolutely perfect. Their peach sangria can be better. They sold bunches of lavender in their gift stores and you had opportunities to take photos with their lavender in the fields. It was a unique experience overall away from your usual city life. I don't think I'll come back again. I've been three times enough, and it's generally the same. I'd recommend trying it once to see what it's like, and that's all.

*** August 21, 2025 to October 26, 2025 ***…read more Lavender Nights is an annual seasonal festival hosted by 123 Farm in Cherry Valley (18 miles away from Redland or 64 miles away from DTLA). Our party came here right before the end of this festival and most visitors were already in the area doing other morning or noon activities (e.g. apple picking, pumpkin patches, etc). [Parking]: HIGHLY recommend on getting onsite parking pass while purchasing admission ticket(s). Since our party purchased our admission tickets the day before our visit, all parking passes were sold out. While there were plenty of free street parking near Frontier Trail and our party parked near the intersection of Frontier Trail & High St at 6 PM, it was (1) 0.5 mile one-way walk and (2) no street lamps so the neighborhood was pitch dark & I had to turn on my smartphone flashlight to walk back to my car. [Admission]: $19 per person on Saturday night. Have QR code(s) ready as the staff will can code(s) upon entry. [What to do]: * Live music on every evening from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. * Tractor rides ($8 per adult) = a 10-15 minute tour through the lavender fields, visit the 1000-year-old oak tree, and hear the ranch's history from a guide. Please note the weather can get really chilly after sunset in late October. * Lavender-inspired food, drinks, and desserts; some of signature items include Lavender Fig + Goat Cheese Sourdough Pizza, Lavender Lemonade, Lavender Cheesecake, Lavender Peach Funnel Cake, etc. * Lavender fields and olive groves covered in over 500,000+ lights. * S'mores pit reservations start at $30. * Photo ops = a vintage sofa located in century-old olive groves, a "Willow" Tree (technically it is the century-old oak tree), lavender fields, etc. * Local handmade shops like The Blacksmith Shop (the farm store) + Flower Market. * Sourdough Bread Hall + Matcha Room Café. [Conclusion]: Our party ended up staying from 6:15 PM to 8:45 PM and experienced most of things this festival has to offered except s'mores pit. This is one of the most romantic festivals anyone will find in SoCal, but definitely (1) come here early (ideally before sunset) in late October to avoid the night chills and (2) buy onsite parking pass to avoid walking 0.5-mile in the dark for street parking. P.S. - 123 Farm hosts other seasonal festivals like February Valentine's Nights, March Tea Nights, April Sourdough Bread Festival & Country Music Festival, May Jazz Festival, June to July signature Lavender Festival, August through October Lavender Nights, November Community Olive Harvest, and November to December Christmas Nights.

Having been to the Lavender Festival over the summer, this Festival was definitely low key in size, vendors, and ambiance which is not a bad thing at all. I was able to really take my time and peruse the area. I didn't feel rushed at all. I'd recommend purchasing the sour dough bread that is exclusive to the Ranch. I was able to purchase their Fig jam, the newest product they were offering. There weren't any food trucks this time around however, the food selections were on par. Definitely take advantage of building your own charcuterie board with their selections of cheeses, meats, and olives. Great wine selections. Because this Festival was markedly smaller, the venue also included a Pumpkin Patch for children with an array of activities and goodies. I brought my niece and nephew and they had fun. They got dressed for the occasion. We took advantage of the chicken egg harvest which included a tour, chicken interaction, and a chicken egg to bring home. Tickets were $7 this year. Free for the kids 12 and under. Parking $5 at the event. No shuttle. Definitely worth the trip for a low key fun weekend.

Admission was free and that was an automatic A+! There's ample free parking as well paid parking if you prefer to park inside the ranch itself. The event to me was very organized. We came a half hour early to beat the crowd. They handed out menus and maps of the vicinity. There are lots of seats available. Beer tents located in one area and food tents located in another area filled the air with amazing aroma from grilled sausages. There were awesome choices of homemade sausages such as bratwurst, chorizo and lamb sausages. European choices of sausages included Italian sausages, spicy Hungarian sausages, frankfurter, and Nürnberger bratwurst. We decided to order the Schiewnshaxe which was a baked pork shank served with a delicious sauerkraut. I don't like sauerkraut, but their sauerkraut was really tasty and slightly sweetened. The Schiewnshaxe was juicy, tender and full of flavor. We liked it so much we ordered it again for $13 a piece. There were other options of crazy hot dogs like Chicago style dogs and guacamole sriracha dogs to name a few. The dessert tents really caught my eye when I saw Lavender ice cream. Let me tell you... this is one of the best lavender ice cream I ever had! I wanted another scoop but I had to surrender from all the food we consumed. I am definitely coming back next year. This festival was family oriented with live music, games for both kids and adults and some kid activities for some fees. The staff were all friendly and helpful. All of the staff stay fully in character the entire time, and their costumes are beautifully made and very detailed. It really adds to the whole experience. The farm itself isn't your typical farm,it's more of a historical village with different stations set up to demonstrate things like candle making, crocheting from that time period, how the judicial system worked, and even the types of games people used to play. One of the highlights was the Revolutionary War reenactment at the end, where the kids actually got to participate as soldiers. It was such a cool experience and also really educational at the same time. I went as part of a school group, but you could definitely visit on your own and still have a great time. The food was good, but the baked goods were the real standout -- fresh breads, pies, cookies, homemade ice cream, shakes... everything tasted amazing. I also liked that you can order ahead online and just pick up when you get there. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with the kids, even when they got a little impatient, which I really appreciated. Overall, it felt like being transported back in time, and I would absolutely love to come back again.

Depending on when you visit, you might get lucky and see one their their reenactments and period dressed characters walking about. We appreciate that parking is free and there is no admission to walk the farm. Definitely check out Riley's Farm website where you can get all the details and see their calendar for events, though. Schools, parents, and individuals can book field trips and various fun educational activities of all sorts. Our personal favorite has been the "Old Joe Homestead Tour" (which is $25/person and lasts about 2 hours). Always a great time at Riley's Farm.

Low-key and charming, with some unique surprises. Chief among them, the craft apple cider cocktails. I got a mule and my daughter and wife got a tasty, smoky Bourbon revelation in a glass. (Well, actually a plastic cup, but I'd drink either out of a rusty hubcap they're that good.) "Would you like some ratatouille crostini to go with that?" "But of course!" (Best call I made all weekend!) Sit by the fire or find a spot of sun at one of the scattered tables. Walk around and explore. Go to the creek at the back of the property and listen to the water go burbling along over the rocks and through the brambles. We were there early (just short of 11 a.m.) so it wasn't too crowded. If you want a commercial experience, go to the Village or else where on the mountain. If you want something truer, go to Stone Soup Farm.

This farm has always been a family favorite, we've taken the kids here year after year due to its beautiful scenery and very nice staff. The store sells awesome marmalade! The tour is relatively short, but very informative, which is perfect for kiddos, and there's very few people compared to busy weekends! The activities such as panning for gemstones and candle dipping are very fun for the kids, and I cannot say enough good things about their new children's garden! I highly recommend this farm, they have beautiful private picnics as well!

Check the website or call the farms to see which orchards are open during your visit, or book a field trip. We've had a couple of locations closed on us when we arrived in the past. You can't go wrong with any of the apple farms. If you're looking for a specific type of apple, ask the staff and they'll be happy to point you in the right direction. Apple samples can also help determine what type of apples you want. Prices vary depending on the apple type, and a minimum weight requirement applies. At the heirloom Winesap orchard, there was a two-pound minimum. We enjoyed exploring and picking fresh fruit from the trees--a real treat for the whole family, especially the kids. Wear comfy shoes you won't mind getting dirty. The weekends can be terribly busy, so it's recommended to visit as early as possible or during the weekdays. Fall is also an excellent time of year to visit. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do around the area as well--a perfect place to spend the day or half a day.

It feels like stepping back in time in the best way. When you drive up to Riley's there are staff that direct you to either the Colonial Chesterfield Restaurant & Bakery area (lower parking lot) where they also have archery, tomahawk throwing, and other colonial-themed games and activities or to the upper lot where there's Heritage Homestead BBQ, an apple and pear u-pick field, and a little barn area with goats. You can also do a ride-a-long on a tractor that takes you around the farm. We stopped at the upper lot to pick apples & pears first, and had some BBQ inside the packing shed. We had the chicken cowboy plate ($27) as well as the tri-tip cowboy plate, with 3 sides each. We ended up getting ranch beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and corn bread. Everything was quite tasty, and the apple BBQ sauce was great. The cornbread was also great with butter and honey. Both the chicken and tri-tip were cooked very well and tasted great with the BBQ sauce. Within the packing shed, there were tables/seats and a bar in which you can order drinks and listen to a band while eating. After that, we went fruit picking which was a fun hands-on experience for adults and kids at an affordable price. We also went to the lower farm area where we had desserts. You would order outside, and you can either sit outdoors or go inside of the tavern to sit and eat (there's air conditioning inside) which was nice since it was in the 90s the day that we went. We ordered the apple shake and a blueberry turnover, which were both good. We ended up walking around the grounds to see the pond and the different activities they had to offer. We didn't get to do any of the activities since we went there late and they were about to close. There were also signs showing that they do themed days, which looked really cute and fun. We'll definitely be back again to enjoy the different activities.
