We selected this shop because they had a selection that was not generally available at the more common tuxedo locations. We were especially happy with the sea glass color tuxedo option. Me and my husband are extremely grateful for all the hard work that Jay and his staff did to ensure that everyone in our party had the right look and size tux. We rented 5 tuxedos, and we all looked amazing. The price for each tux was comparable to all the local shops, however they offered more of a variety there at 125 Bridal Boutique. This shop is very busy, and when working with them, you have to understand that they will only work with a certain amount of events per week. First off I want to say Thank You!!! I came in for a last minute dress so I could marry the love of my life within 72 hours (I know crazy right?!) well that's how life works sometimes ‍. The bride, groom, groomsmen and mother of the bride in our wedding were all dressed by 125 Bridal. I first met Jay & Chris at a Bridal Expo, where they taught me so much about wedding dresses and the shopping experience. From the expo, I had a discount to use on a purchase at their store, which further incentivized me to go visit. I am from NY (where my parents live), live in Woburn, MA, and was given a lot of recommendations from friends/family for bridal shops in both states. While my mom was visiting me in MA, we had planned to go to a few bridal stores in MA/NH. Even on my phone call with Jay to book my appointment, he was teaching me even more about dresses/shopping. 125 Bridal was the second appointment we had after a "trendy" boutique that only showed me dresses that were top-dollar and way far off (style-wise) from what I was asking for. I was a bit discouraged from the last appointment as I explained to Sandra what I was hoping for and showed her a few photos of what I liked. Sandra pulled two dresses from the back after chatting with me for about 10 minutes. One was the dress I showed her a picture of - which had way more sparkles than I wanted/saw in the pictures. The other dress she told me was ugly and not to look at it yet, as she placed it in the dressing room. She ran back in with a piece of ivory fabric and slipped it under the lace layer to show me that the nude bottom layer is also available in that color, and looks 100x better, so try to picture that. As I slipped the dress on, it immediately felt more comfortable than any other I tried on, and checked most of the boxes I had on my list. While I looked in the mirror with my mom and Sandra around me, she and Jay continued to explain that this designer, Casablanca, is one of few that own their own factory and so their dresses can be custom-made. Knowing that I could alter this dress (Zola style #2324) to be exactly what I was envisioning sold me on it - and of course the emotions that took over my mom and I from that point on. Before our appointment was over, my mom tried on the MOB dress she was admiring on the mannequin and decided to buy it for herself within just a few minutes. The discounts from the expo and great service from Sandra and Jay saved us a substantial amount of money and time. Their advice we received was priceless as well. My then fiancé and I returned to 125 Bridal for his ensemble. Jay helped him find exactly what he was looking for - something more elaborate than a basic tux - and was able to custom order his jacket that wasn't usually carried in their store (or in his size). From shoes to groomsmen tuxes, Jay and Chris were able to pull together every piece of the groomsmen outfits and save us a lot of money while doing so. Jay even snagged a newly debuted matching veil for me while he was at a bridal show in Chicago that completed my look and saved me even more money while looking like a million dollars! Fast forward to wedding day - we both looked and felt amazing. We received SO many compliments from our guests, and many other friends/family who saw photos thereafter. Jay, Sandra, Chris and Irene (the seamstress recommended to me by 125 Bridal) were an outstanding team to work with, had wonderful demeanors/communication throughout the process, and made our experience (with every person out-of-state and a shorter timeline than most) so wonderful. I got a mother of the groom dress here and paid quite a bit for it. The staff is friendly and courteous but their communication skills are fair at Betsy. I had to call several times to see if my dress was in or coming soon. I wore it once and the majority of the beading fell off. I had to get it rebeaded. The woman who did the beading was appalled that a 700 plus dress fell apart after one wearing. I e mailed the store to let them know that the quality of my dress wasn't what it should be and that they may want to look into it. I wasn't out for a refund and I did not go crazy physically at my sons wedding. (I'm in my 70's!!) I never received an answer. Just a thanks for letting us know I'm sorry that happened would have been great. Be careful what you buy there. read more

Just visited yesterday, 9/9/2018 and it was my second salon of the day...thank God because of this was my first experience I would have just ordered a dress online. 1. Salon: dingy, crowded, and just looked like it was from the '90s. 2. Selection: a ton of dresses but everything looked like they were from like 10 years ago. Nothing fresh or exciting. 3. People: the ladies were awful. They didn't offer to help me with the dresses so my sister and I had to try to get them on ourselves. She kept bringing me the wrong size which was too small and as someone who already has body issues, this was not a great experience. 4. Finding the right dress: I found one that wasn't terrible on me and she kept pushing me to buy it. She kept saying "you're stressed", "take a deep breath", "you're overwhelmed". Listen, I was tired but also excited. She ruined that. I will never go back there. Unless they have the exact dress you want and you want to save sales tax, I'd suggest the same for you. read more

I can't even begin to explain how amazing my experience has been at 125 bridal. I had previously looked for my wedding dress at a few David's bridals. The dress quality at 125 bridal is leaps and bounds better than David's. However, what makes the experiance so special was the service. Every person at that store knows how to make things easy and comfortable. When I was at David's it was easy to get over stimulated and it felt very rushed. At 125 it was totally opposite, I didn't feel rushed or pressured. The shop was pretty quiet so I was able to focus on what I wanted and talk with my bridal party. Everyone was so sweet and they took into account what I was comfortable in and my budget. I really just can't recommend 125 bridal any more. My sister is getting married this summer! She called ahead, shared information about the styles she was looking for, and made an appointment for a Sunday afternoon. The consultant was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave my sister the one-on-one attention she needed. The consultant helped enhance dresses with different accessories and slight modifications so my sister could see what was possible. We didn't feel rushed. The consultant asked great questions and listened well. The sitting area is comfortable and there's a pedestal for the bride to step on in front of the mirror. When I called back a few weeks later to ask for information about one of the dresses she had tried on and loved, I was able to leave a message and received a return call that same day. My sister saw a prom dress in the window she wanted to try, so we called to see if they could fit us in this morning and without even a question told us to come on in. We chose so many dresses for her to try, and Jay was awesome with helping us and giving his expertise. RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, & DISRESPECTFUL. I am a first time bride to be and I was visiting my parents from my home in CT to do a little dress/wedding shopping with my Mom. It was our first time doing all this obviously, and so we were really excited. We wanted to go somewhere local and unintimidating, unlike David's Bridal. So, we looked up online wedding dress places which do not require an appointment, and we found 125 Bridal, and were very excited to go there first, as they only require appointments on Sunday. So, when we got there I told my mom I didn't want to tell them I was the bride to be because I don't want to be overwhelmed. I just wanted to take in all the store had to offer and see even just my first wedding dress on a rack! Let me just say that the man who greeted us did so with every question you can think of while I told him I was just looking and I literally had nothing in mind I only wanted to look. Then my mom came in and we were just chatting amongst ourselves while this guy would NOT STOP asking questions -what color, when's the date, where's it at, how many people in the wedding party, what colors - and I kept saying, I DONT KNOW, because truly I didn't and he wouldn't give me even 5 seconds to formulate an original thought. Then, out of what seemed like a sudden temper tantrum from a 55 year old man not getting his questions answered, he begins literally shouting, "OK BYE BYE, HERE'S THE DOOR, WE'RE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" and he tapped his hand on my 65 year old mother's butt while corralling her towards the door! This man was so rude and disrespectful and completely ruined my entire outlook on my entire wedding. Perhaps you shouldn't be running a wedding dress shop if you can't be remotely sensitive to the fact that some brides to be really JUST DONT KNOW YET and want to be given the opportunity to, call me crazy, find out! read more

I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found 125 Bridal Boutique! I looked for months for my mother-of-the-bride dress. I actually ordered - and sent back (after trying them) 7 different dresses. I kept looking online and in local stores, as I'd finally gotten an idea of what style might look good on me. I finally found a dress online by a certain designer, but the only shop that was able to get this dress for me was 125 Bridal Boutique. I am so grateful that I found them. They were so professional - and yet so understanding and helpful when I needed it most. It can be a nerve wracking to be the mother of the bride, especially when you live 3000 miles away from your daughter. I wanted her day to go beautifully, and I wanted to look beautiful for her. I wanted to do this right. 125 Bridal advised me candidly and well, and fitted me carefully for the dress I'd chosen. When the dress came it was absolutely the perfect design for me. So as I mentioned I was a pregnant bride- it was hard for me to find a wedding dress that I LOVED! I shopped around and I have to say 125 Bridal Boutique was amazingly helpful!! Sara helped me from the second I walked in the doors and set me up with Irene the seamstress who brought my dress from a size 22. Down to an 8. (My pregnancy size) my dress had a small issue with the fabric but I called the seamstress right up and she had it looking perfectly that same evening!!! She did A FABULOUS JOB ON MY DRESS! THANK YOU IRENE!! and not to mention... me and my husband and my son went into men's warehouse to get the tuxedos & they didn't have ivory (the color of my dress) for a jacket my husband was looking to wear, GRANTED I got my sons tux At men's warehouse- ordered on Wednesday and received it Saturday ( day before my wedding) and MY HUSBAND went into 125 bridal Wednesday late afternoon & they not only had his color ivory but they called us on Thursday ( THE VERY NEXT DAY) and already had the tuxedo ready to be picked up! And my husband looked amazing !! MIND YOU! It was $75.00 cheaper than men's warehouse!!!!!! I can't give them a higher rate than 5 because that's the limit but if I could I'd rate them 10!!!! BY FAR THE BEST EXPERIENCE FOR A NERVE WRACKING EVENT AND WAS TREATED RESPECTFULLY & MY NEEDS WERE MET 100000%!!!!! So I can't say enough about 125 bridal and the help from Sara Jay & Irene!!!! Sorry for the one but it wouldn't let me do 1/2 star. It was a terrible place. I felt like when Julia Roberts goes into the fancy dress shop in Pretty Women. They didn't have fresh fashion forward dresses, the place was dark and cluttered with tons of dresses every where. The previous dress shop assisted my daughter with dressing... this place did not. Did not explain what she was supposed to do... just brought in 3 dresses and left and came back several minutes later and asked how she was doing.??? Kept saying that she didn't think my daughter knew what she wanted but my daughter told her about 15 times that she wanted A-line. Very pushy. The first thing my other daughter said when we go into the car "I don't care what dress you want to buy, just don't get it from there." We won't be back. read more

September 2019 . Please call ahead if you are a size 16 or more. Extremely limited! Seemed very outdated on just about everything. Yes we looked at bridesmaids dresses. Dark and dingy. The girl helping seemed like she just got out of soccer practice to help her aunt with the store. Not luxury at all like a bride should feel when picking out. $1000+ gown. There was a stain on a gown trying to sell for $650. I don't know if the lady helping us was the owner or just worked there but to her everything looked great and was a limited time because of the sizes. She kept getting everything of what my bride said she didn't want literally was not listening. Probably because of the sizes which is done then tell us we done have you size in many options so we didn't waste our day trying on ole fashion outdated out of stock dresses. If you are a plus size girl I wouldn't recommend this place. It's not upscale for a bridal party to be present. Very low budget no express treatment for appointments so just walk in like you would any store. I say this because my bride had to give all her Information again so it was just like a walk in. I called 125 Bridal late on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily they were able to fit me in that same day because my Grandma was in town and I wanted here to come along. Not many shops can schedule you in on a Sunday and I was thankful for that. My Mother, Grandma, and Sister came with me and I was consulted by Sandy. She immediately knew what style I was looking for and made me feel very comfortable. The dresses that I tried on were gorgeous. This shop also has a large collection of bridesmaids and mother of the bride dresses. I would recommend 125 Bridal to others. The appointment was fun and I loved the whole experience. read more

I give this boutique zero stars. I'm in a wedding this summer in Georgia. The bride has given me a lists of dresses to try on. I called the boutique and asked if they could pull the dresses for me. The lady asked if I was buying the dress at their shop. I said that I didn't know, I haven't tried them on yet. She was very rude and said that they don't normally pull dresses over the phone, I need to come and and find them myself! She did, however, pull the dresses when I told her my 3 year old daughter was coming with me. When we got to the boutique they put my dresses in a dressing room and ignored us. When we asked for help, they were so rude, gave us the clips we needed to hold the dress together and walked away. I will never go there again, and I will never buy our bridesmaid dresess from there. There's only one reason this place gets two stars and it's because the young brunette (not sure I ever got her name) who originally helped me was great. I walked into the store with no appointment because I wanted to finally pick up a veil. She led me over and helped me get the veils on and off, which I really appreciated. Got all the details for me, even tho it took a few minutes to learn I would be limited to either a certain rack or samples because I needed one too quickly (a little over a month). I was happy because I thought I found a veil which was very close (if not similar) to another one I had liked when I first picked up my dress elsewhere. However, I was told if I wanted it, then I would have to buy the sample because those veils take three months to order. Fine. No discount on the sample. Also fine. I had heard the same from another store. Fine. I'll pay full price even off the rack. Now, I was still more than a month out from the wedding and they knew that. They DID offer to steam the wrinkles out of the veil for me for free. I said great, thank you. They said no problem. However, they couldn't guarantee when it would be done, just before the wedding, because they had a seamstress who comes into the shop and it's prom season. Fine. Now, granted I had called maybe only about 4 days before I wanted to pick my veil up, but I had made last minute appointments to go to my venue and meet with the minister, etc etc. I called the store when I knew, because I started having serious doubts about the color of the veil (the sample was in ivory, my dress is diamond white). So I called them to arrange to pick it up before the weekend since I wanted to try it on with my dress and my dress was a few hours away at my mom's house, closer to the wedding venue. First voicemail- lady says fine, come get it Friday. Second voicemail couple hours later- "oh, actually, our seamstress took it out of the store to steam it and she won't be back til next Monday." Um, what?? Nobody told me the veil would be leaving the store. I thought the seamstress did her work there. So now I have close to a 400$ veil that I cannot see with my dress again before the wedding, and you guys don't even have enough of your stuff together to tell me that on the first call. Like, there was no way I could meet the seamstress somewhere, anywhere to get it? I didn't even care if it got steamed at that point. I just wanted my veil. So I come to pick it up today and guess what? We can't find your veil. Seriously. Oh and there's a 40$ charge on your account. Um, what?? The ONLY reason I left my veil behind to get pressed is cause it was offered free and now you want me to pay?? Nuh uh. So they finally find the veil, and in it comes nicely folded in quadrants and PINNED together. Holy crap I may be overreacting but I just about melted down right there. I ask them to open the bag before I leave and sure enough, I see loose thread first thing. Deep breath, cause sample. FINE. I didnt see any holes at least. I said there's no way I'm paying the 40$ cause the only reason I took the steaming is cause it was offered for free. I'll give it to them, they said ok. I better not get a bill in the mail, I swear. And the kicker? Because they folded the veil so many damn times on a plastic hanger, it does not look the least bit pressed. If that seamstress did anything to it, it was all undone. It looks exactly as wrinkled as when I tried it on. Just thankful the pin didn't leave a noticeable hole on the way out. For some people, 357$ may not be a ton, but for me, over 200$ for a piece of fabric to hang on your head is quite a bit of cash. I just wish they treated their customers like they actually gave any semblance of a crap. Probably worst experience to date in all the wedding planning. Like I said, they get two stars for the first girl, who I liked. But if I could go back, I would never ever buy or recommend anything there ever again. Save yourself the headache, and find someone who actually cares about your wedding day. They're out there, just working in other bridal stores. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars, however that is not an option. When you walked in, you were greeted by racks of some dresses. Nothing with a wow factor. We were brought back. My sister told the attendant what she liked in a dress. The woman did not pull what my sister wanted. A male employee came back afterwards when he heard me asking Siri about local David Bridal shops around us. He asked if we were "looking for that quality (David's Bridal)" in a dress. When we said no, the attendant continued to bring dresses that my sister did not even like. My sister wanted a sparkly dress and they told her that they literally only had two sparkly dresses. We asked if she could go back and see the dresses (just her and an employee) and were told that because "there's 2.7 million dollars worth of dresses they had to ask the manager". The manager took my sister out back and with an attitude kept asking "is this one that you want?" My sister came back to where the group was basically in tears. We left right after that. The dresses to view in the front were plain, nothing special. Only utilized 15 minutes. The place smelled liked chicken throughout which was disgusting. The dirty rugs were also displeasing to the eye. Overall negative experience here which ruined the day. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Had a great experience 125 Bridal. We had no idea what we wanted, so our consultant offered to show us 4 totally different shapes of dresses. It really helped us figure out the style of dress I wanted. Then I tried on many ball gowns and found the perfect dress. I loved how they had sofas for my guests. We decided to use the seamstress that they recommended and she made gorgeous sleeves for my gown. One of the things that impressed me the most, was the staff did not just say they liked every gown I put on. When everyone loved the one I selected...it made it so much more special as they did not say they loved every dress the minute I walked out, like another store I visited. I was very nervous about going to look for a wedding dress. I was afraid I was going to try on a dozen dresses or more and not find anything that looked good. But it turns out I had nothing to worry about! 125 Bridal was the first store I went to.....and thankfully I didn't need to look any further. I actually had an appointment scheduled at another bridal salon for that afternoon and I cancelled it. At 125 Bridal Sandra was my stylist and she was amazing. To start things off she sat down with me and my bridesmaids and she asked me several questions to find out my likes & dislikes. She immediately put me at ease. She was so friendly and seemed truely excited for me. She wanted to be sure she found exactly what I was looking for.....and she came through beautifully! I tried on 3 dresses and the 3rd one was the one. I can't believe I was so worried but ended up finding THE dress so quickly!! It fitted so well that I actually bought it off the rack and took it home that same day. Sandra also found me the perfect veil, it's so elegant and beautiful. We also bought all of the bridesmaids dresses and got a 10% discount because I bought my wedding dress there. What a nice touch. They also offered payment plans for deposit on all the dresses. What a wonderful experience for all of us. 125 Bridal is the place to go for beautiful dresses and amazing service. It was obvious that Sandra loves what she does and she is extremely good at her job. I highly recommend 125 Bridal and specifically Sandra to all you brides-to-be! read more

I stopped in to this shop on a spur of the moment because my daughter in law bought her wedding gown here. They were super nice and found a dress for me within an hour. Believe me, I am a hard person for shopping and dressing up. I was impressed and went to work bragging about this place. That was two months ago. Well once " Natalie" made the sale that was it. I had to go back several times for alterations, tux fittings, tux pick ups and drop offs and so on. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone. The manager is a total witch. Very rude! They acted like you were bothering them everytime you went in there. 2 weeks before the wedding my daughter in law took her dress somewhere else to have alterations done to her gown because this shop ordered her a size 6 when she is a size 2. They quoted her $450.00 for alterations and she refused to pay that. She used a woman she has used before and said she would go there. She did and it cost her $70.00 for her alterations. However two weeks before the wedding when she dropped her dress off she got a call from the lady. She said she wanted to be sure this bride knew her dress had been altered before. My daughter in law was in tears & said no that is a brand new dress. NO it wasnt! It had been altered and she showed us the stitch marks from the machine and everything. If it wasnt so close to the wedding she would have demanded all her money back and went somewhere else. They never denied it. They instantly offered her money off her tux rentals. Nothing like admitting to fraud. I am so disappointed with this place. They got the wrong size shirt for my husband and had to order him another. we found this out at 3 on thursday and had to wait until 1 on friday afternoon to pick up another one. We had a two hour drive up to the mountains for a rehearsal dinner at 3 and this place could have cared less. The whole experience was not what it should have been. I should have known when I walked in. Not the nicest enviroment!! for all you future brides, think twice!!! go somewhere else. read more

Not a fan of this store - we went because we were in the area after checking out Madeline's Daughter. 100% different experience. I called and a woman told me they had no openings (understandable, we were trying to walk in on a Saturday) then another guy gets on the phone and tells us to head over. We walk in and a woman begins to assist us with picking out some gowns. At that point I had a pretty good idea of what I did/didn't want. I said no trumpet/mermaid styles, and the woman kept bringing in those styles and saying that we could take out layers of material to make it look "less like a trumpet/mermaid". At this point I was also getting burnt out, and it was frustrating to feel like she wasn't listening. At the end of the visit, I considered bringing my bridesmaids back since the pricing on the dresses was decent, and no tax. The woman told me upon departure, "just let me know if you find a dress somewhere else at another store, I promise to give it to you for a cheaper price, even if I don't have it in store right now". I just can't stand that kind of business - although I like to save money whenever I can, I also feel like it's worth it to pay a good salon more money for the service that they give, and Bridal 125 is just not one of those places. read more

My grandson was going to receive his First Communion. We decided to rent a white tux rather than by a suit because he's hard to fit. We went to 125 Bridal on April 2nd. Told them the date of the Communion with was May 7th. The woman told us that they don't have children's shoes so we would have to buy them elsewhere. We put a down payment on the suit after they measured him and they said they would text me when we could come for a fitting. About 3 weeks later we went back for the fitting. The girl opened the bag, and said they did get shoes. Went to try it on my grandson and it was a man's tux when men's shoes, a pink vest and pink tie. They told me the girl made a mistake measuring. I don't think so. They measured him again and once again said they would text me. The Wednesday before his Communion I called to see if it was ready, it wasn't. I started to panic but she promised me it would be ready later than day or the next. Now it's May 4th, 3 days before his Communion. We go in the dressing room and I see child's shoes, I was so relieved, took the rest of the tux out of the bag......ONCE AGAIN A MAN'S TUX. I went to the desk and asked for my money back. I was so upset. Luckily I went out earlier in the week and bought him black pants, a white shirt and a tie. The pants were at the taylor's. Several people told me to call Russo's Tux and see if they could help. My husband brought him there Friday morning around 11:00, we had a perfect white Tux and shoes the next morning for 1/2 the price. Thank you Russo's in Stoneham, Ma. read more
