I don't write reviews. Ever. But my experience with Kunes was bad enough that I'm taking time on a…read moreSaturday to write this. TL;DR: I bought a Yukon Denali Ultimate at full asking price plus fees, zero negotiation. I was approved, provided proof of identity/financing, and was treated like I was scamming them. If you're out of state, DO NOT BUY here. It took almost 3 months to get my plates and registration. I knew the market, liked the price, and was ready to buy. No negotiating, no hassle. You'd think that would be easy. Instead, after I was approved on the 11th, it took two full days just to review my documents and let me sign. I kept being told the business manager was busy with other customers. I'm approved, paying asking price, and trying to finish the deal -- am I not also a customer? When I signed, I requested one simple thing: please detail the vehicle before delivery. It was a surprise for my dad, and I wanted it clean. They also said they would not pay to ship it. Fine, I would pay. Their listings advertise "DELIVERING TO ALL 50 STATES!" in big red letters, so I assumed they had a shipping process. Instead, after financing was done, I was told this location doesn't ship cars and was given a random dispatch website. So I found and paid for transport myself. They said the vehicle couldn't be released until the bank funded the deal. Totally normal. But by February 18th, a week after approval, they needed more paperwork. I had signed documents 3 times on 3 separate days. How do they not know what needs to be signed? From February 18th to the 23rd, I checked in every day and had to call 4-6 times a day for a funding update. I kept reminding them to clean the car. I was assured it would be. On February 24th, the deal should have been funded. I called at 11AM, no answer. At 12PM, Riley said I'd have an update within the hour. I called at 1PM, nothing, emailed at 1:45, called at 2, emailed at 2:40, emailed again at 4:45. No answer. I finally called the bank myself, found my loan info, and confirmed the dealer was funded and the vehicle was clear for pickup. Called at 5:35PM, spoke to Trevor, a general manager, confirmed it in four minutes -- after I waited 6.5 hours. Found deal was funded at 10AM that day. Because of that delay, the transport driver I sourced and paid for waited until 4PM and could no longer pick up the car. I lost the driver, submitted a new request, and it cost me another $140. Riley finally responded at 6:37PM with the answer Trevor already gave me. The new driver was supposed to arrive Monday and cancelled. Not the dealer's fault, but the truck should have already been on its way. Scott was communicative during this part. Kevin also helped with shipping and the driver's info, and I appreciate both. The truck arrived March 6th. It was dirty -- the same dirt and scuffs from the original listing photos. They clearly never touched it after telling me for nearly 20 days it would be cleaned. The steering wheel had gunk on it. I paid my detailer $250 to make it presentable. Even worse, the tires were bald. I still would have bought it, but they should have disclosed it so I could have had tires ready. It would not have passed state inspection like that. If I wasn't tied up in financing, I would have walked away. There were three other trucks priced just as well. I chose Kunes thinking a large dealership would handle things properly. I was wrong. Finally, the truck was cleaned, I paid for tires, and my dad loved it. I thought we were done. Then registration became another nightmare. I bought it in February. It arrived in early March. They did not start registration until MAY. I drove on a temporary tag for 2.5-3 months. They only got it registered after I begged them for weeks. This was terrible from top to bottom. I will never buy from Kunes again. They didn't offer anything -- box of cookies maybe, maybe coffee gift card? Nothing. Thanks to Scott & Kevin for communicating, but everyone else needs Dealership 101. I gave them endless grace. Worst dealership experience I've ever had.

Where my buying experience was amazing here the service was absolutely terrible! Since I bought my…read moretruck (brand new) from this dealership. My trailer lights from the truck wasn't working and I brought this up every time I had brought my truck in to the dealership for my free oil change. Nothing ever documented or done about it. Granted... A few times were my issue since I couldn't leave it there due to needing the truck. The last time I was there I had a conversation with Amanda (who is super rude and confrontational) that stated that "since I didn't have an extended warranty there would be a 250 diagnostics fee". I said I don't want to pay for that since I have had this issue since I bought it. So evidently it was cancelled by her which also was not told to me that they were not going to address it again. I was contacted by the dealership after I got my truck back asking for feedback and I gave them my feedback. Then I get a call from Adam and because Amanda never documented the issue I had (trailer light) since I bought the truck. I was told that I was wrong and inferred that I wasn't being truthful. This is probably an easy fix but they would rather collect their fee then admit to not being right. I am in the market to trade this truck off now and I will be going with a different Ram dealership! Learn to get some customer service! Everyone beware! Look at the reviews on this dealership! Mostly buying experience great but service dept sucks! I thought at first I might have been over reacting or even questioning my own memory. No... they just suck! Adam the one that responds to these reviews is the one that actually called me out for not being truthful! Absolutely ridiculous. The upper management team needs to read some of these reviews and analyze the people they have in their service department!

Matthew asked if I was interested in ordering a RT Durango, and I advised him I'd like some info about it. I wanted available colors/packages/pricing/etc. He advised me that he'd put some info together and forward to Nate to forward to me. No offer to help me while I was there. I went home. The next day, my wife and I went to Russ Darrow Dodge and had the opposite experience. Extremely helpful and friendly. We left there feeling like a valued customer. Meanwhile, Thu/Fri/Sat/Mon all passed without any contact from Van Horn. Monday morning (Apr 20) my wife/I went back to Russ Darrow and worked out a purchase. Our 2026 Dodge Durango RT 392 was ordered. Monday afternoon, I received an email from Myhra (sp?) about my experience at Van Horn and I sent her my thoughts. Late Tuesday, I missed a call from Spencer S, asking if I'd be willing to share my experience with him. I returned his call, left a message saying I would be willing to do that and hung up. NEVER heard back from him/Myhra/Nate/Matthew. With that, I will not follow up with them. While I can't recommend Van Horn, I can happily recommend Russ Darrow Dodge.
