Tamarac Pointe Apartments

Tamarac Pointe Apartments

Fairly quiet neighborhood, however neighbors need reminders that we can hear through the walls and…read moreoutside the window. I also wish management would place a limit on how many cars a unit can have or assign parking. I have a neighbor who attempts to save spots for all 6 persons that live in his 2/2 unit. You also have car's that don't move and collect cob webs or taking space.

I've lived here for 1 year and loved it…read more Tamarac Pointe is super quiet and secure enough for my comfort level. I sometimes get scared living alone due to watching too many ID channel shows in fear that some psychopath is watching my every move. But I digress. The apartments are spacious (especially the 2nd floor ones due to the vaulted ceilings) and included a washer/dryer. I paid under $1000/month, which is one of the perks living in the south, cheaper rent. There are plenty of parking spaces and that are a great size. I'm used to super narrow spaces with no room to exit you car if the next car is parked practically on top of yours. The community is also gated, with the gates closing at 6pm daily. This means that all guests are buzzed in after hours. I love this because folks just can't stop by unannounced. There is a tennis court, pool, hot tub and workout facility that are all very well kept. The lawns are manicured and also very well kept. There is even a contracted pest control service that sprays the apartments once every other month. Love that. T. Pointe is located next to an abundance of eateries (Golden Corral, Chick-Fil-A, Boston Market, etc), grocery stores (Publix, Winn-Dixie, Aldi), supercenters (Target, Walmart) and many more places then you can imagine. There are a few places that are walking distance- like the drive thru convenience store, Tubby's, and another shopping center that houses Publix, the Dollar Store and CVS, but for everything else you will need a vehicle or you can catch the bus whenever it decides to come (see my city of Tamarac review). T. Pointe is located near all of the major highways which is ideal, because you can leave the madness of Miami or Downtown FT and return to this nice, quiet and safe community. Additional info: 1) Recycling bins fill up very quickly. Make sure to utilize them while they are empty. 2) Maintenance sometimes does repairs on the waterline without warning. The water is sometimes shut off for 15-20 minutes in the middle of the day. There was a written advanced notification of this happening once, but it happened about 3 times without a notification. There is the nicest, most helpful maintenance man that works there named Steve. Hey Steve! If you're reading this, sorry that I didn't get the chance to say goodbye. Aside from those factors I would definitely recommend living here.

I have been living here for 1 year and 3 month and i've had many issues with this property. someone keyed my car in the parking lot. after I reported it to the leasing office they told me I have to file a police report. after I filed the police report and get back to them it was just excuses just to not run the camera. the property manager don't care about the tenants all the they care about is money. another time the the roof was leaking and I did a 16hour shift that day at work and came home to wet bed. my room was a disaster I had to wait weeks before I could sleep in my bed. Moral of the story is these people don't care and will charge for everything. Stay away!

I am unsure why this place purports itself as a "luxury" apartment. I am a University graduate and…read moreI have seen student affiliated housing with better amenities such as bigger pools, better gyms and gym equipment. I am not sure if they thought Black people were not accustomed to the true definition of luxury but hey, here we are (the apartment complex is located in a largely Black city). Nonetheless, another huge problem lies within their insistence to abruptly raise rent. With less than 4 months left in my lease they have decided to increase our rent by $100 for a cable and internet service we are apparently now bound to pay for since the leasing office exclaims there is no way to opt out of this. I would advise prospective future tenants to stay away. There are a laundry list of other issues with this place but the rent increase was the most egregious of them all.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at The Preserve Cypress Hammock has been beyond…read morefrustrating. Parking is a constant nightmare. There are never enough available spaces, and to make matters worse, residents vehicles are getting towed far too often, even when it feels completely unjustified. Instead of working with tenants, management seems more focused on enforcement than solutions. Speaking of management, communication has been extremely disappointing. We've been told one thing repeatedly, only for it to turn out to be untrue. It feels like there's a lack of transparency, and residents are left in the dark far too often. At this point, it honestly feels like new management is needed altogether. Another major issue is the amenities. We're paying high rent prices that supposedly include access to things like a gym, but the gym has been unavailable for MONTHS with no clear timeline or proper updates. It's unacceptable to charge premium prices while failing to deliver on basic amenities that residents rely on. Overall, between the towing issues, poor management, lack of communication, and undelivered amenities, this has not been a positive living experience. I would strongly encourage management to address these concerns seriously, because residents deserve better. I shouldn't have to pay out of pocket for a gym membership elsewhere when I'm already paying rent for something that should already be included where I live! So now I'm out extra money on these high gas prices for making unnecessary trips to another gym and not to mention the gym membership I'm paying for monthly smh! I should be reimbursed for the false advertisement & deceptive practices of this property. I'm holding up my end of the deal by paying in full every month but instead I'm being lied to by the management with no access to something I'm paying for, this is unacceptable!

They tell everyone the same excuse DO NOT RENT AT THIS PLACE!! I will update my post when they either give us gym memberships for the time being or the actual gym is open!! We don't want to look at the gym we want to use the gym there are about 8 of us that go to the LA fitness down the street and have talked and laughed about what a joke this place is. GET THE GYM OPEN! The excuse of inspection is damn near a year old now and that's just since we've been here! I wish I knew someone that was here longer. No way I should be paying for a membership when one of the selling points of the apartment and the high ass rent is a GYM! Lower the price! Open the gym! Or stop telling people they'll have access to a gym here! You're literally scamming people with that pitch knowing the gym has never been available since I've been here
