Definitely Worth Paying 8$ for a shower and to be able to change into clean dry clothes. The facility is clean, climate controlled and most of all convenient. No long lines or waiting. I took the kids to the shore for an impromptu beach day. The last time we went, the kids and I ended up changing in a bathroom on the boardwalk, which was hell on earth. A friend told me about The Bath House so we decided to try it. It's $8 pp over 10 years and $4 pp under 10. You can also rent clean towels for $1 each. The Bath House offers modern, clean, individual showers and changing rooms so nobody had to see my fat rolls, and cellulite. Trust me- it ain't pretty. They also provide soap/shampoo and hair dryers for the customers to use. I would definitely recommend The Bath House to anyone and plan on using it every time we take a spontaneous trip to the beach. read more

Great deal, clean showers, and friendly staff. Be forewarned, as with many OCNJ businesses, this is a cash only enterprise. But once you get past that you should be happy with what you get. The private showers are all equipped with soap and shampoo, and there is ample hot water, even late in the day with the closing rush. We left an item there once and they were great about finding it and holding it until we could return later in the week. They will let you use the bathrooms all day, which is a nice plus. They definitely made upgrades in 2018 to the showers and it makes it even nicer now. read more

The only problem with coming to Ocean City for the day is wrestling to change in the back of the car. It took us way too long to find this place which is convenient, clean, kind of indulgent and so pleasant it will become one of the BEST parts of coming to OC for the day. The owners/managers are over-the-top friendly and treat you like family. The TRICK is, if you come early enough they have a deal that includes your beach tags basically free. Unlimited access to clean bathroom and stocked showers (soap, shampoo, conditioner). Little niceties like bags for your wet clothes and an area to plug in and do your hair (come on who does that?? You'd be surprised how many people!!) We found this place by accident after slumming for 20-plus years when we decided to shoobie. What a hidden gem!!!!! I got to Ocean City early for an all day beach day!!! By pure luck I drove onto the lot at 13TH Street to park my car. I noticed the sign for Bath House....what a delight to be able to shower all the sand off and not bring any into my car. Lovely friendly girls at the counter to help explain and direct me. The newly renovated facility is absolutely gorgeous...so clean and spacious.....and it's air conditioned!! What a great way to end my beach day!!! This facility is the best spot on Ocean Ave to park. The rate is $15.00 for the day and in many cases you can lock your car and keep the keys. This facility is not a place to have to worry about theft in your cars. If you're going to the beach they will rent you a beach tag for $8.00 adults and $4.00 for kids 10 and under. That will include the use of showers, changing rooms and the bathroom. They rent many sizes of bicycles for reasonable rates. They also have an interest in a restaurant down the street called Puccini's. Excellent Italian dinners and pizza, 45 versions of pizza. read more

Day trip to OCNJ last Friday with my spouse. We arrived by 11am and there were only 10 beach tag specials ($8) left. The woman selling the tags was very helpful and nice. Explained everything regarding the beach tags and last call for showers. The shower/dressing stalls were clean and roomy. There's a handicap shower and dressing stall. They provide clean towels for $1. Mirrors are located outside. We will be visiting OC again soon! read more

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience at this bike rental shop today and felt that I should leave a review to warn future customers before going here. The helmet that I brought on vacation for my 18-month old daughter did not fit her. So we went to this rental shop in hopes of renting a helmet for her. When I got there I saw there were 2 teenage employees standing in the back so I asked if they worked there. One of the employees responded "yea". So I asked if I could rent a helmet for my daughter and showed then that the one I brought did not fit her. The response I was given was "we don't do that". When I aked what he meant, I was told "you have to rent a bike and then you get a helmet". So that was fine, I asked how much to rent a bike and I was told "you can't do that". I had no problem paying for a bike rental in order to get a helmet, but the two young employees refused to rent me a bike because "you are already on a bike so I know you don't need one". I was kind of shocked because the employee telling me this was about 16 years old. I was with my 18 month old daughter, my wife, and my mother. I was already on my bike and had my daughter sitting in her infant seat on my bike with her helmet that did not fit barely sitting on her head. I told the employee I would take a bike in order to get the helmet and the employees response was "I don't know you man, I'm not givig you a bike to get a helemt". Again, I was pretty shocked. This was about as unprofessional of an exchange as I have ever had in this entire town and felt the need to write this review because of it. I encourage this business owner to contact me if you read this. This is regarding the encounter I had with two of your teenage employees on 5/28 around 1030am. I encourage anyone looking to rent a bike in Ocean City, NJ to go to any other location than this one. I was treated very poorly and felt like I was mocked by the two young "employees" who worked there. There really is no need for any customer to be treated the way I was today. Make no mistake -- this isn't spa quality, but it wasn't bad. And the $8 price is amazing if you are one of the first 75, because your price of a shower includes a daily beach tag. At 11 a.m. on a Thursday we were numbers 40-42. The biggest downside is that you'll likely wind up waiting your turn with everyone else at the end of the day (unless you leave the beach early or later than the other throngs) and that the screaming children who don't want to be showered might ruin that great feeling of relaxation that you *almost* came away from the beach with. read more

We used the bath house yesterday. It is $8.00 for anyone older than 10. Babies up to age 10 is $4.00. I think it should be $4-$5 at most for an adult. I understand they have to make money, but for a family of 5 it was a bit much. I guess that's the price you pay to get the sand off. read more

This bath house exceeded my expectations. I'm very particular about cleanliness and I do not ever usually have anything nice to say about public restrooms but this place has really hit the mark in so many ways. It was of course conveniently located, has parking (so you can easily access your vehicle when you need it for getting stuff out of your car and putting your beach stuff back in your car at the end of the day), has attendants who provide great customer service, offers beach tags rolled into the price if you get there early enough, offers outlets to charge your phone and most importantly has CLEAN bathrooms/showers/changing stalls. This place is worth every penny you pay for the convenience it provides. We were on the beach for 7 hours and then went to the boardwalk that evening without being uncomfortable from sand and wet clothes. It was almost like we had a place to stay. I will definitely be doing more day trips to OC thanks to this bath house helping us to take care of all of our needs. read more

Women usually wait for a shower but facility is kept as clean as it can be. Sand happens people. Wish the dressing area had AC as you're sweaty the instant you're out of the shower. Good location and lots of shaded space and seats to wait your turn. Parking lot double and triple parks and charges more than adjacent lots but if you wanna jump right into your AC car it's the way to go. read more

Do not go to the Bike rental and Bath House on 13th street, They park your cars and do not put the keys away, they leave the windows down and constantly keep moving your car and leave windows down.My bag with all important information got stolen out of my car. Anyone could go to anyone's car and open and take anything out, they don't check you when you walk to the car. I didn't realize my bag was gone until I got home to unpack. I reported in to the Ocean City Police right away. I called Richard the next day and spoke with him and his wife they both were rude and on the defense, They said I was accusing them, well obiviously my car and keys where in there hands on there parking lot, It just didn't walk away by itself, He insulted me and refused to give me there last name, He kept saying my employees would never do that I have been in business for a long time. Well it only takes one bad apple . I would never accuse someone of anything, but my bag was missing, and it was left in the back of my SUV. I came back to the parkng lot at 8:30 and obviously they where not there but my windows and keys where down. They should have cameras and they should put your keys away with windows up. Karma is a bitch and what comes around will bring bad to them. Horrible business man. Down right ignorant and not caring at all. read more
