My gal tried on a few bikinis and they all fit so damn well and Tanya was helpful with adjusting her and accommodating her in every way, and the prices are super great too. I came in looking for bikinis for a Havasu trip & Gigi helped me find the absolute cutest bikinis & cover ups! She was so sweet & made me feel so comfortable while shopping, it's hard finding bikinis & clothes in my size & she even taught me a trick to help me make my bikinis fit better. I am obsessed with bikinis! I live nearby here and never got the chance to stop in and check out their bathing suits. I came in the other day to see what they had. It is almost exactly like Chynna Dolls if you have ever been there. I use to live nearby Chynna Dolls and miss it very much. Here they had the same cute little bikinis with scrunch butt. They have the lace tie bottoms and cute prints in every color. Its mostly all bikinis and not much more. The girl behind the register told me that you can costume make your own bikini for an extra $25. Most bikini ranges around $50. I think that is moderate price for these bikinis. The girl also told me that they also have a store downtown. I cannot wait to come back to get something for my Vegas trip =) read more

Established in 1997.

About Dare Me Bikini In 1989 Dare Me Bikini began as a a personal struggle with one of life's most difficult challenges... finding a well made, fashionably designed, quality fitting bikini. Unable to find what I was looking for, I turned to my love of fashion, a fabric store and a sewing machine. What I discovered was that not only did I have a closet full of sexy bikinis, but I had also fallen in love with the process of creating them. It became my own personal crusade to give every woman the chance to feel as good in a bikini as I did, and thus, Dare Me Bikini was born. I began selling my bikinis in local boutiques, and it wasn't long before Playmates and models were wearing my designs. After a while, I decided it was time to start my own store, and the Dare Me Bikini store in Huntington Beach opened its doors in 1997. Although my clientele had grown significantly, I never relinquished my belief that each article had to be made with the same passion and attention to detail as my

Uhm, SOME records is a severe under-exaggeration of what's offered at 1 Look. When we walked in, Davey immediately greeted us and asked what we were looking for so we pulled up a list of some records on a "hit list," then browsed around while he checked to see if he had any of them. Meanwhile, I hunted around - everything is in total organized chaos, with records everywhere, but clearly labeled by genre. The first record I pulled was Biggie's Ready to Die, which was an obvious must buy. We chatted music while searching and when I mentioned I was a Wu Tang fan, he put on one of GZA's first tracks that really kicked things off, that was unknown to me. Davey is someone who knows music and seems to really love what he does. The shop also features a ton of awesome vintage clothes, comic books, and different nostalgic items (plus VHS and DVDs too, which definitely made me feel old). We left with 4 records at great prices and will continue to come back anytime we're in Huntington! Such a unique space that you could spend HOURS in and not uncover all the magic in that place.

The person working the counter was very accommodating and was flexible with pricing since many items were unlabeled, and was very knowledgeable about the items they sold. The atmosphere is great, there are various boxes of cassettes and magazines underneath the clothing racks, dating back to the '50s. They offer everything from Japanese porcelain dogs to Stephen King novels or a boombox. Really enjoyed my experience here, would definitely go back

From Van's to Volcom to RVCA and more, this is a Beach goers dream store all under a single roof. They can be a bit pricey on regular in store items, but the sales savings equal things put a bit, and the quality and variety is top notch. The only thing holding this back from five stars is the fact that it sits in the busiest part of the beach (for obvious reasons) so parking does not come easy to find or cheap as you either must hike from a nearby housing track track allows parking or use a neighboring lot of meters. I have wanted to go into this shop for the longest time and finally did. I have to say I was very disappointed. The suits there are made for tiny people. I only weigh 112 lbs. which is considered to be small. These suits were too small for me! I was actually surprised considering the owner of the shop is a extremely large person.{not to mention has the worst body odor} The owner claims to have made these suits originally for herself! Apparently that's how she got started..Ha ha I don't think so. I hope to never see that hot mess in a swim suit. The person that wrote the yelp review that mentioned the owner is bitchy, I thought was just being rude herself by saying that. Well I was wrong the owner of this shop is very bitchy and yes at first acted nice and a few seconds later went off like a complete wacko. I do agree that this woman needs mental help and should see a therapist or get on medication for her behavior. Bipolar perhaps? I wound up having a suit made for me to be custom fit after all I was there to get a bathing suit not worry about the owners weird behavior. After wearing the suit for less than two hours the lining started coming apart. I spent over $150 for this custom suit. What a waste of money. I did not take it back to the store because I figured it was not worth dealing with the owner. She was a rude person when I gave her money can you imagine how rude she would be with a complaint. I was there on Saturday and walked out with 3 bikinis and am having one made because she didn't have it in my size, oh and a hat too!!! Tanya is awesome, she was busy, had 3 other groups there during the time I was there and she gave each one of them 5 star treatment. One girl walked out with one bikini, and is having another one made. The second girl walked out with 3 and said that she'll be back to get the other 2 on her next payday! And I believe she will. As for the third girl, she was a curvier girl and young, she would have needed to have one custom made and the suits that Dare Me Bikini has are more on the moderate price scale and this girl was looking more for something in the price range of $50 or less. So you know what Tanya did? She got on the phone and made a phone call....confirming that they carried bikinis in her size and at a price she was comfortable with, then she sent the girl to that store! She wanted a suit that she could wear to the beach the next day!!! As for getting the custom made suit in a week? Well, Tanya made it clear to both of us that are having them made that she will be leaving for Lake Havasu for Memorial Weekend, where she takes all her suits and sells them, so it would be 2 weeks before she could have them made for us....Neither of us had a problem with that!!! This is the best place to buy your bikini, She is an amazing business women, I had bought a few suits and when I took them back to my home they were not the right size, we went back the next day and she exchanged all of them to the right size. They are beautifully crafted and very individual suits, you can't find these patterns and colors any where else, I will always buy my suits from this company. read more

the salesperson was actually rude and offensive. I asked if they had large sizes, and she gave me a sigh, and an eye roll. she refused to get up off the chair. Isnt this place owned by former porn star Barbera Dare? How could anyone affiliated with her be so upitty? The suits were very overpriced as well. Other great options in the area. read more

Loves me some little bikinis! They have the best selection for bikinis that I have ever seen. I just moved here from Kansas and I am in heaven. The prices are so reasonable and the quality is top notch! I could not decide which ones I liked the best so I bought 5 of them.
