Check-in and out was seem less. There was always someone at the desk to help us and they were very nice. They provide beach passes, parking is only $15 a day. The place is very clean, beautifully decorated and recently renovated (in the last few years). The rooms have their own AC units, beds are comfortable, bathroom is big with 10ft ceilings, a rain shower head for the perfect pressure and shower experience. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is from 6am-10am. You can help yourself to cereal and oatmeal but they also have different menu items everyday. Today was omlet with 5 toppings or a parfait. The meal was well balanced with an arugula salad and a healthy serving of a variety of fruit. Coffee, tea, milk and OJ available. I loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs throughout the day reading my book. They offer blankets and umbrellas. Lemonade, coffee, tea, cookies, and wine are available in the evenings sometimes. Water (hot and cold) available from their filtered machine. You can sit inside or enjoy the porch area where there was a nice breeze. The owner, Sne, can be found working at all hours of the day. From serving coffee in the morning, fixing something in the afternoon, and delivering ice cream in the evening. He takes great care of the place and it's decorated with antiques he has collected. Only a couple blocks away from the boardwalk/wateraprk. The hospitality, attention to detail, and cleanliness were unmatched. We were only here for a night and are excited to return next time.

The biggest issue with this place and the nail in the coffin for us never to return is the non-existing parking. We drove around for an 1 hour and had to park 3 blocks away. Also turn the hot water on in the shower and go for a walk. It takes forever to heat up.

Dave has lots of recommendations of places to eat at in the area. They have chairs you can borrow for the beach. It is 1/4 mile walk to the boardwalk between 8th and 9th. With tax it came to over $200 a night. Each night would have cookies and ice tea on the porch. If you are an early riser coffee would be on the porch. Breakfast would be served at 8:30AM each day. They rent parking spaces at the business next door which is very convenient. They also give you beach tags to borrow. They also have an Inn in Lancaster PA. Would have liked better Internet. Couldn't use it from our room and it had limited bandwidth downstairs on the porch. The router was in the back of the house on the first floor. I would have liked more availability of food, water and drinks during the day. By the way Ocean City is a dry area.

I get it that things happen, but it would have been helpful to call us before we arrived to update us on important matters. We are simple people and we just dealt with it, but the weather that weekend was hot and humid. The fan is also old and got noisy when we cranked it a few notches so that didn't really help us much. Everything is beautiful, but we just did not appreciate any accomodations when we were told that the AC is broken. This won't deter us from coming back. We'll give them another shot.

Our bunny frolicked to his hearts content in the yard attached to our apartment. Our bed was fantastic...we slept better than ever. Then we had an awesome breakfast and, of course, we ate too much! We ended up staying an extra night and might have stayed another night but the Inn was booked for the weekend. Too bad for us. We are planning on a week stay this fall.
