The location is great (close to the boardwalk/beach/shopping especially with a bike rental) but quiet enough to enjoy biking or walking around with very little crowd and car noise. Jennifer, the Innkeeper, was so welcoming and she had never had a bunny stay but I must say she warmed up to him right away. Our bunny frolicked to his hearts content in the yard attached to our apartment. Our bed was fantastic...we slept better than ever. Then we had an awesome breakfast and, of course, we ate too much! We ended up staying an extra night and might have stayed another night but the Inn was booked for the weekend. Too bad for us. We are planning on a week stay this fall. Walking up the stairs to your room just screams for attention. Outside our room we have wires hanging from the soffit with wire nuts on the end. The walls need another coat of paint because you can see where the contractor wrote (full kitchen and an arrow sign). The mini fridge is cute but not useful. You are pretty much getting a hotel room. The biggest issue with this place and the nail in the coffin for us never to return is the non-existing parking. We drove around for an 1 hour and had to park 3 blocks away. Also turn the hot water on in the shower and go for a walk. It takes forever to heat up.

The reason for the four stars is that when we got to our room we were told upon arrival that the AC was broken in our room. I get it that things happen, but it would have been helpful to call us before we arrived to update us on important matters. We are simple people and we just dealt with it, but the weather that weekend was hot and humid. The fan is also old and got noisy when we cranked it a few notches so that didn't really help us much. Everything is beautiful, but we just did not appreciate any accomodations when we were told that the AC is broken. This won't deter us from coming back. We'll give them another shot.

The only negative thing is the sometimes lack of parking if you stay in-season. They also have a 2 bedroom suite on the top floor. Breakfasts were very creative and enjoyable. You will find their cute dog - Pearl at your feet. Dave has lots of recommendations of places to eat at in the area. They have chairs you can borrow for the beach. It is 1/4 mile walk to the boardwalk between 8th and 9th. With tax it came to over $200 a night. Each night would have cookies and ice tea on the porch. If you are an early riser coffee would be on the porch. Breakfast would be served at 8:30AM each day. They rent parking spaces at the business next door which is very convenient. They also give you beach tags to borrow. They also have an Inn in Lancaster PA. Would have liked better Internet. Couldn't use it from our room and it had limited bandwidth downstairs on the porch. The router was in the back of the house on the first floor. I would have liked more availability of food, water and drinks during the day. By the way Ocean City is a dry area.
