Thts what we cooked on thw whole time, changed out when we had 1 piece of meat left and hour into the dinner
    Stephanie R.

I dont even know where to start. Out of all the korean BBQ places ive been to, this has been by far the worst. Not sure if they were having a bad day or this is usual business there. My husband and I drove from 72 miles away because our town does not have anything like it. We got there and for 20 mins we were invisible-standing by the front desk for anyone that worked there to acknowledge us as waiters/employees saw the line and just kept walking by. By the time someone did speak to us, there was a line of about 3-4 more people waiting to be acknowledged in line for a table. Fast forward, 44 mins later we finally ordered. I can't believe it took that long for me to cook my own food and on top of that half of our order was forgotten in the back, forgot to bring sauces out. the grill wasnt turned on by the time the order came out so we had to wait even more ain order for the grill to warm up. It was turned on so high that when we finally started cooking, it would burn before it was even done cooking. Halfway through we are pretty much cooking on ashes and remnants of old food that charred on the grill top(see picture). The plates piled up and none of the empty plates were cleared to give us room the whole dinner. My husband got his first refill on his water 30 seconds after we had paid. 30 seconds more and he probably would have choked, who knows. Highly disappointed on the service, seeing how they dont even cook your food. You would at least expect better service.

I too was shocked to find such a spot in Alabama of all places. This concept of cooking your own food caught me off guard, but I'm ALWAYS ready for new things and challenges. My rating was based mostly on the unique experience more than the food which was ok, but we had a server who willingly helped my son and I every step of the way - especially with the meat options. The only thing I didn't appreciate in the experience, the quality of the side dishes - the rices didn't taste fresh and they were cold. Unfortunately, the cooking surface was primarily for meat, so my attempt to heat rice didn't go over too well. Oh well, I tried it - bucket list is checked.

We had a great experience at 167! The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful! The restaurant was clean and welcoming. We ordered a lot since they actually don't charge for food leftover. Their cocktails were VERY good. Our favorite menu items were the rice cakes, kimchi, beef brisket, and fried rice. The japchae was good but nothing special, and the Cajun chicken was not our favorite. They replace the grill top whenever you ask, so we didn't have a problem with food sticking too badly! I'd definitely recommend trying this one out. Can't beat the price or variety!

It's an experience my son wanted to go to, but I"m not a fan of Korean BBQ. It's expensive and if you choose the medium option they show about 39 things to choose from, but Americans probably only want 4 or 5 of them. Memo to management, Americans aren't really into pork belly, intestines, tongue, and pork jowl. We stuck to brisket, beef, and chicken, with veggies and rice. Too expensive for what you get, not to mention you are cooking it yourself... and no Japanese white sauce. I'll go to the Kobe' and Beni Hana options and let the chef do the show and put all the stuff we love on our plate.

It's time for a bit of discovery with Korean BBQ. Thanks to one of my buddies who wanted it for his birthday. Just a little info about Korean BBQ or 167F. They have all you can eat selections that they keep bringing you as much as you want. But there is a basic for $9.99, deluxe for $15.99, and premium for $22.99. The premium includes the deluxe and basic options while the deluxe also includes the basic options. Your meal comes with rice, Korean mashed potatoes, radish, kimchi, and onions. In the middle of your table is a grill and you cook your own meat. Some meat takes 2 minutes, some takes longer. My selections were the #14, 15, and 1. #14 was the beef Bulgogi. It is marinated in a sweet marinade with vegetables. It was enjoyable. But the spicy version of it, the #15, was even better. The marinade in it was spicy but it was mild. I would give it a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10 for heat. The #1 was the spicy pork version of bulgogi. I also sampled beef brisket, pork belly, garlic chicken, Hawaiian beef, and some type of marinated steak which was #30 on the menu. The #30 and garlic chicken was the best out that bunch. Sweet tea was refreshingly sweet! I really enjoyed the experience of Korean BBQ. However, I felt like the meat was not the best quality of meat. The beef brisket and #1 pork bulgogi was very chewy after being cooked, thin, and fatty. For the price I paid, that was unacceptable to me. I would eat here again if someone picked to eat here, but I won't go out of my way again.

My food was excellent.. Atmosphere was wonderful. The only bad thing that I did not have a very big alcohol selection because of shipment not coming in. But but overall I enjoyed it very much. Cameron was a very good waiter.

As a local, this is the only all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ (KBBQ) in town, and it offers the best price for all the items it has on the menu. The quality of the food has its ups and downs, but after closing temporarily from COVID-19, the quality has slightly gone back up. I have been to this restaurant 40+ times and know full well the quality it has when they had first open to this day. This place has 2 tiers (Premium and Ultimate) to choose from other than the lunch menu, which is $15.99 compared to the $9.99 it used to offer in the past; the lunch menu is only available 11AM-3PM during the weekdays, not including holidays. For the Premium tier, you can choose from 39 items, while with the Ultimate tier you have 56 items. Most of my visits I have chosen the Premium tier because it has enough choices to satisfy my needs. If you enjoy eating seafood, such as octopus and squid, then the Ultimate tier is perfect for you. However, I am not a big fan of octopus or squid (unless it is fried calamari). But it does have filet mignon and LA galgi, which I love dearly but not worth the price for me. For the Premium tier, I recommend the premium chadol (#9), spicy beef bulgogi (#11), Hawaiian beef (#12), neukgansal (#20), and woosamgyub (#22). You can ask for steamed or fried rice, but I always get japchae (#34) to eat with the meats. However, my past 2 visits the japchae has been a disappointment; it was lacking flavor and dry. I recommend not getting the fried rice because the taste reminds of how hamster food pellets smell like. If you want to venture around the tier, I would recommend trying the soy sauce samgyubsal (#11), red wine samgyubsal (#12), and dduk kkochi (#36); I'm not a big fan of any of them, but my friends like them. One thing about their pork belly is that it is average quality, and the flavor is not there for me. Overall, I always have a great experience eating here. One thing to keep in mind is that the customer service is not the fastest since they are low-staffed, so make sure to order many items on the first round (4-6 items). Their specialty drinks are amazing; I have not been disappointed with any of the option. They are fruity and light on the alcohol. This restaurant might not be the best quality, but for the price you pay, it is good enough to satisfy me. I would always go back to this place if I crave KBBQ.

This restaurant was highly recommended by Yelpers and by a local hotel staff member who said this is a popular eating spot while in Auburn. The place is pretty easy to find off the main street leading to the university. Parking is decent and when you walk in, the restaurant gives off a different vibe unlike a traditional table Hibachi restaurant. After you read their menu, if you choose the all you can eat fixed price dinner, strict rules are in place such as a 2 hour time limit and no takeout is allowed. You select the plentiful dishes you want, most are cooked by you at the table, and when you want more, you can request additional amounts from the menu list to your server. Beer and cocktails are well stocked and my 'go to' beer, Yuengling was available on tap. Overall, great service, food, and atmosphere at 167 degrees F Korean Bbq restaurant.

I was in town and decided to try this place. Price - this is by far one of the cheapest all you can eat I've been to. But, you can tell why. The basic food meat wasn't the best nor quite Korean. I understand they are trying to meet the taste buds of non Korean southern people but seasoning was more so Chinese buffet quality. Side dishes - this is where I would of gone from 3 stars to two. My kimchi was dry. Like someone dished it out into these tiny black serving dishes and let out in room temp for hours (like 8+ hours). Kimchi were so fermented and dry, I couldn't even eat them. And finally the service - I get it. You have 30 items and foreign sounding items. But when you order two meats that are pork Bulgogi and beef Bulgogi and your grill is completely empty, you should probably stop by the table and check the table. We had to ask for water when water was completely empty. Service was another reason for two stars. I would say this. If you are not looking for authentic Korean and looking for more fusion Korean food, this is not a bad place to start. Be aggressive and get your servers to change out the grills. Mine were completely charred and server didn't offer so I had to tell to replace it. My server could of been new. And my observation was that she was very inefficient. Would I come back? Likely with some friends who never tired Korean and hungry.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly server, tasty food and fixins. Only one suggestion: a non-stick grill would help regulate less sticking/burning of food. Definitely on our "Return To" list.

This is the general manager's response in the uploaded photo. I'll be happy to oblige my other, past, negative experiences that I left out of my previous review. The service is hit or miss but it seems to be an ongoing problem based on other users' reviews. As far as the grill changing is concerned, you will know if you have a more sensible server if they ask you if you'd like a change the grill or they wait in between dishes to change the grill. I would advise people to ask them to hold on if they try to change it before dishes finish cooking. The owner claims that the wait staff is conditioned to change grills often due customers asking for it. Fair enough, but who asks for a grill change in the middle of cooking? Since wait staff often walk by and turn down the heat of the grills, the combination of the cold grill and low heat prevents that sear that you're supposed to get. You get that steamed, grey meat. Don't believe me? order the LA Galbi and test it out. The difference due to heat is certainly noticeable. At first, I loved the establishment so much that I often recommended this place to friends. I arrived with a party that included two members that could not eat beef and one that could not eat pork. They tried to separate our party despite there being a single table with 2 grills and it was not even busy. It wasn't until we pressed the issue that they decided to accommodate us. They used to leave the dipping sauces and the side dishes on the table for an extended period of time. As a result, a friend once found a fly in her soy sauce based sauce. Although it was a minor inconvenience since we could just order new dipping sauces, I would double check to make sure everything is fresh. The best way to do this is to check the consistency and the color of the red dipping sauce (sam chang), the freshness of the pickled onions, and whether or not the potato salad is crusty and hard. To be fair though, I think they have changed this habit. Anybody who eats Korean BBQ knows it's about the lettuce wraps. They've replaced it with cabbage, probably because it's cheaper. Tsk Tsk. To sum it up. The service is hit or miss. The experience is great if you get a good server that doesn't change the grill in the middle of cooking. It's too bad the general manager's attitude is poor.

My husband & hi absolutely love this restaurant! We have eaten here numerous times! The waiters are always so courteous and the food is always amazing! Their portion sizes for their meats are a decent size for two people and it's definitely a credit option in order to be able to try multiple different items on the list that they have! We always start with the vegetables to have those sautéed while we're waiting for the meats to come out and we are never disappointed! Their cocktails are pretty delicious but a bit pricey... However we usually just stick to the soda. But with the assortment of meats and the reasonable sized plates that they have they definitely make sure that you're not going to waste and essentially charge you extra for whatever you're not eating it also allows you to try more than just two or three meats we usually go through for five and we start off with one or two.

The food was pretty good and the ambiance is cool but our waitress was on her phone the entire time. She only had one other table and barely checked on us. Lucky enough for her we were a party of 5 so she got a tip anyways.

I arrived to pick up a DoorDash order and entered the restaurant without being greeted by any employee. I sat down, assuming that someone would eventually ask if I needed assistance. During that time, two separate groups entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted and acknowledged. Meanwhile, multiple employees looked directly at me and continued to ignore me. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I finally received the order, but only after the customer I was delivering for called the restaurant. When the food was handed to me, I politely mentioned to the employee that I had not been greeted when I arrived, despite other customers being acknowledged right away. Rather than addressing my concern, the employee refused to give me the order and called over the owner or manager. When he asked what the issue was, I explained that I simply wanted to bring attention to the fact that I had not been acknowledged when I entered the restaurant. He responded by saying that he knew I was a DoorDash driver and that the food was not ready. I asked how he could have known I was a DoorDash driver if no one had ever greeted or spoken to me. Instead of answering the question, he asked if I was going to take the food or not and told me I needed to leave because he was tired of dealing with me. He then began raising his voice, insisting that my wait was due to the food not being ready. I repeatedly explained that my concern was never the wait time. I understand that food preparation takes time. My issue was that no one acknowledged me when I arrived. Without speaking to me, the staff had no way of knowing whether I was a DoorDash driver, a customer dining in, or someone else needing assistance. Despite my attempts to clarify my concern, I was again told to leave because he did not want to deal with me. What should have been a simple conversation about customer service and acknowledgment became an unnecessarily hostile interaction. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment and wanted to share my experience.
