The food, service and ambience were everything expected. Our server was so helpful and friendly. Our water glasses were always full. The bread basket was hard to describe but here goes it was hot and buttery and had a nice crust. I would definitely recommend the risotto tots. Absolutely worth the wait. We will be back!

A friend of mine wanted to come here to try it out for dinner. She's pretty good and finding good spots for us. I had the jalapeño chicken. It was good. I had leftovers, and they were still just as good the next day. Only thing I had to do was take out the jalapeños. They tasted like the jarred or canned jalapeños. Didn't really go together for me. Once I took them out the dish got a lot better for me. The staff was super nice and answered every question I had. The place itself is really nice and a great setting for a date. I enjoyed my visit and soon heard after we left, that they play live music upstairs after a certain time. So I will definitely be trying to make a point to go another evening to try another dish and enjoy some music.

Loved the high-end, 1960s vibe -- warm lighting, classy ambiance, and just the right amount of retro charm. The mussels were flavorful and fresh, the Chipotle Peach Burger was smoky-sweet perfection, and the salmon was beautifully cooked. Service was smooth and attentive. A perfect spot for when you want to feel a little fancy without the fuss.

Came here for a promotion celebration. Did not disappoint. Got here around 515pm and was asked if we had reservations; we didn't but might be a good time if you come at a more busy time.. sat immediately and our server was very knowledgeable and prompt with our orders. Wine was spot on as were appetizers and enteees. Def a date night or special occasion type of ambiance place. Pricey but honestly isn't everything? Food, service and ambiance made this place worth the price tag.

The restaurant looked very upscale, nice warm atmosphere. There was no wait on a table but when we left there were several people waiting on tables. The appetizers came out quickly as did our bar drinks, all were good. All five of us ordered a different dish and everything was very tasty!

Atmosphere, food, and services were great! The server had much knowledge of the menu and recommended several delicious things items to try. The salmon was very interesting and is a must try. Drinks weren't the best but over all decent. Great place for date nights or small friendly gatherings. Next visit I will post shots of the classy modern staircase leading to the second floor level.

We walked into 17 South and were promptly greeted and seated by our hostess. The ambience had a rustic charm. However, it was quite chilly in the restaurant. The chilly temperature made it hard to feel welcome. We were greeted by our server, who started us off with drinks. But we were lead to our first snag when told that certain appetizers are premade. our waiter resolve the issue by coordinating our special request with the chef, however upon receiving our appetizers, we were disappointed to find that our appetizers lacked seasoning. The entrees made a valiant effort to save the evening as they were both delicious and well seasoned however, the sauces prove to be towards the watery side. Overall, for a first time experience with this restaurant, I will be leery about its menu, and their methods for prepping appetizers. Despite the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff, I could only hope that the overall menu and food will match the energy that was given by set, staff and ambience .

The margaritas (mine were on the rocks) made to perfection. Finally a place that has "Hot" salsa. Great taste, great amount of heat. Only miss with all of this are the chips. My personal preference is for a thinner chip. Some like the thicker ones and try this place regardless of my chip preferences. I ordered the Steak Fajitas with Corn tortillas. Great portion size. The sides were portioned to complete the meal. I did ask for sour cream since the menu did not say it came with it. Well it did and the waitress did not let me know that and so I got charged for an extra sour cream. Not a big fan of refried beans, however that was what they had. They tasted good and I believe if you are a refried beans type, they would be considered great! The restaurant itself is modern meets industrial vibe. Cozy but not tiny. The staff could be a little more attentive or at least more personable. All in all, I would eat here anytime I am visiting the area and wanting Mexican.

It's definitely more of a bar to sit down and chat as they have a lot of very comfortable seating. The bartenders were friendly, and I got to try a few different drinks. Their menu is huge, and they have so many interesting cocktails. Dragon's Breath: I may have misremembered the name, but this was definitely the coolest drink I got. It came with a plastic dragon egg with dry ice spewing out of it just for the vibes. The actual drink itself was very tasty and sweet with a dragonfruit flavour. The main liquor is Malibu. The Parlour: had a sour lime taste to it with a big green skull ice block. My friend kept the golden skull pick as it is marketed as a keepsake, which is a very cute idea. This is one of their most expensive cocktails. Lychee Martini: this was terrible. I love lychee, and I like martinis, but this tasted like foul flowers. I would call this a rotten lavender taste. I did not taste any lychee. Living Dead Girl: tasty vodka cran drink with real blackberries. They got stuck in my teeth and stained them, but it tasted great.
