This place is amazing! They remodeled their restaurant and have a hip new bar that just doesn't let you leave! Great ambiance and atmosphere like no other place in Temple. Foods and drinkgreat, and service was amazing. Very clean and the staff are wearing masks and taking COVID precautions. A++++

My restaurant testing team enjoying the open lobby as we await our food. The staff was super friendly and responsive.

Super nice staff and good food. The kids and I had a nice time. We originally went because the Temple Chamber of Commerce provides coupons to eat at new places on Tuesdays. Food is well prepared and is a pleasant upgrade from other local hotel offerings. It is comparable to other local family restaurant quality food. We will be back and look forward to it.

Yum!! We ordered room service tonight and the food way exceeded my expectations. We got a kids pasta and a Cobb salad. The pasta was yummy and cheesy and my little one absolutely loved it. It was also served with some fantastic pizza crust cheese bread. The Cobb salad was perfect. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the ranch dressing was think and flavorful and the bacon was that thick applewood kind. Our server Linda was very kind and helpful. Thanks for the best room service meal we've ever had

I got it with mashed potatoes and fried okra. I think the only negative if I had to list one is they charge an extra $2 for simply getting gravy on mashed potatoes or if you got a baked potato there is an extra charge for each individual topping instead of just making it one price. This is definitely a place worth the stop if you're in the area.

My wife had the special, Beef stew with Corn Bread. The catfish was very good and tasty both sides were good. The beef stew left a lot to be desired my wife was looking forward to it. Then she started picking out the meat with all the fat and grizzle on it, which ended up being 85% of all the meat in the bowl. we told the waitress about it and she seemed put off about it. She told the cook and the manager. A little while later she brings a small bowl out with " what she said the cook said had lean meat on it." the first three pieces I took off had more grizzle on it. Sorry not cutting it, the manager never came over to the table to say anything or acknowledge the problem. A little concern would have been nice. went to pay the bill and the girl at the register said she could charge me half price for the food. I guess that is the best they can do, so it would seem all they want is your money and not trying to fix the problem. we will never cross this threshold again wishing you the best in the future.

Great dinner we went there for our anniversary dinner. This is our go to place for many occasions…read more As usual we had the Wild West Shrimp as our appetizer which is to die for. We have never been disappointed no matter which restaurant we have eaten at. Now for the main course my wife's favorite is the Flo's Filet and we have it butterflied because she likes it well done. Along with mashed potatoes, and a salad. I had the Renegade Sirloin with the shrimp, Rice pilaf and a salad. I ask for no seasoning on my steak because their seasoning is heavy in salt and not good for HBP. Steak came as requested somewhat asked for Medium and it came out Med Rare. It was good and ate it the way it was. Did not want to send it back and wait while my wife was eating. I also had a bowl of the Lobster chowder and it did not disappoint that is for certain. Now the Salad this was over the top. There is a guy that just makes salads we asked because they were so perfect not a wilted piece of lettuce, all the veggies were perfected also. The bowl when out comes to you is so attractive the way it is set up. This could almost be a meal with the chowder and Wild West Shrimp alone. Keep up the great work, also sent our compliments back to the salad maker.

I've been wanting to try this place, so was happy to finally make it out here with good company. The food came out fast and was flavorful for each plate with each bite. I'm not sure if our server was frazzled in working with us because she kept coming back to our table, with a total of 4 times asking what our drink orders were. They weren't very complicated to begin with - a child's chocolate milk, 3 waters, a strawberry lemonade, spiked strawberry lemonade, and patron dragonfruit marg. The second time she came back, this time with a notebook to take our order once again. We repeated it with somewhat less enthusiasm. But then, once she came again for the 3rd time - she brought what looked like 2 Arnold Palmer's with the kid's chocolate milk and 2 waters. At that point we changed one of our drinks and repeated the request for water, since she said she also didn't bother telling the barista to make the alcohol drinks since she wanted confirm yet again with us what our drink order was. She finally got it at that point and the rest of our drinks came shortly after. In the end when we were paying for the bill, a similar forgetfulness? experience occurred. We had to ask for a larger to go box twice until she finally brought it because she kept forgetting whenever she walked past our table. Overall, I would return to try another dish here, but would prefer a different - hopefully more attentive - server.

This is my second visit since the restaurant's most recent ownership change. Had Sunday brunch first visit. One of my friends doesn't eat eggs and asked if she could have a menu item that included eggs, a meat and breakfast potatoes. She asked if the eggs could be left off. She was told NO, so she then just ordered a bread and coffee. I don't understand the waitress response because we weren't asking to deduct the cost of the eggs! She just doesn't eat eggs! Turns out they were out of breakfast potatoes and wanted to bring us french fries instead. We declined. Really.....nothing special about this breakfast and very expensive and disappointing service. The only positive was the restaurant looks nice. Decided to give the restaurant another chance and went for lunch. Had soup and salad. I really only wanted a cup of soup, but that was not possible. Had a very good strawberry and watermelon salad and a giant bowl of corn bisque swimming in oil on top. Very unpalatable. Told the waitress and all I was offered was that they would tell the chef. The salad was $16 and the soup was uneaten and cost me $14! They did bring me the standard Stagecoach hush puppies before my meal and they were delicious! When I had heard the restaurant would be managed by the owners of Monument Cafe I was so excited. I love Monument, but this restaurant is too expensive for the poor quality of food. I would love to have the menu at Monument at this restaurant. The only positive is that the remodel of the restaurant is lovely in appearance. I wouldn't mind the prices if the food was delicious and it was not. I won't return nor will I recommend to my friends. Very disappointing.
