BREWS: I opted to sip on the Katie Says (a chokecherry honey wine) during my visit. This 12% ABV mead is def a sold brew and the nitro makes it super smooth and it had zero cough-medicine-esque notes. The chokecherries are locally sourced from the very own yard too! How fun! They have a small variety of every brew style available and a handful of guest taps too. SERVICE: The beertender working was super helpful and friendly as I browsed the tap list. She offered to answer any questions I had and brought over a food menu to in case I was craving something more substantial with my beverage. The owner told us his story about buying the business and how his family worked there. Saturday afternoon had only three family members as the wife was out. The other patrons even got up to look in back to see if anyone was working there because they were ignored. About ten minutes later the owner came around the corner but Daughter was still gossiping outside. He scurried around. We split the fish and chips between the two of us as well as the salad. I was not impressed with the food. The small pieces of battered fish were decent but the overcooked fries and the salad were NOT good. I was bummed. It's like they realize the fish portions are small and they overcompensate with too many fries. I really wanted to like the place. The salad dressing came in store bought packets.
