Slider with pepper jack cheese. Big enough.
    Michelle A.

First time here but it won't be the last. My son and I came here. I ordered a slider with cheese which was definitely enough to eat. My son ordered the Belltower Burger which was bacon, mushroom, cheese and sauce which was like a strogenoff sauce. I mopped some of my slider in it. We also shared the cheese curds as a side for $5. We were charged $1.50 for ranch, even though it was free with order of curds as an app. Also ordered Busch Non Alcohol beer for $5.00. It was really nice inside as this was an older church in its past life. The Burgers are 1/2 # and I enjoyed a bite of my son's burger. The burgers are fresh and not frozen and worth ordering. I did suggest hot honey with the cheese curds and turn the peanut butter grilled cheese and bacon sandwich into a burger. I'd return again.

The food was great and reasonably priced. Lunch for two with sodas was $45.00. I got their version of a Patty Melt with Tots and my companion got an 1894 Salad with Chicken and Rice soup. Service was great! It's located in a former German Lutheran Church that was built in 1894. It was very respectfully redecorated, with the "church" feel intact.

    Patty melt with cheese curds

Amazing food. We started off with the onion rings. It didn't come with sauce so we had to ask for some. Come to find out, they charge $1.50 for each sauce. We weren't aware of this. It's not that big of a deal but something to keep in mind if you're sauce lovers like us. I got the patty melt and my partner got the boneless chicken wings with bbq sauce. Their bbq sauce is tangy and so good! My patty melt was delicious and you can tell the meat is good quality. The main dishes don't come with sides so we got charged for the fries with the wings, and cheese curds with the patty melt. All that said, We would return.

Burger & curds. Ketchup dish is mine.

Seriously amazing burgers. And we are not easy to impress when it comes to burgers. My mom especially pretty much never orders a burger and she was surprised at how good hers was. I had a double cheeseburger, and it was one of the best burgers I can remember eating, period. This is a burger that will remind you why griddle beats grill, because the crust was outstanding. They were juicy while still being fully cooked, and whatever they season the patties with is noticeable but not overpowering. I'd buy it by itself. I think there was a bun, which held things together but wasn't too intrusive. I had cheese curds with mine, which were very good. I don't know if they bread them on site, but I wouldn't be surprised. My mom wasn't super excited about her fries, but it's always difficult to keep fries fresh when you're doing takeout. Obviously I can't comment on the inside atmosphere or service, but hopefully one of these days... Honestly, though. The burgers. Eat one or seventeen or six-tenths or whatever. Just eat it and feel happy and repeat whenever you can. Seriously, y'all, we walked around the house the rest of the night in kind of a daze saying, "That was a REALLY GOOD burger," whenever we passed by each other.

I cannot say enough about this establishment. It's so unique and beautiful, they kept a lot of the original church decor and memorabilia. The service is impeccable- and the food and drink was wonderful. I could spend all day at the bar in the big cozy leather chairs. Bathrooms are clean! Highly recommend!

Best tasting burgers ever. Great service. Short people need not worry about seating because there are more regular tables than tall tables.

It gives off the vibe of a sports bar but also a place to sit and have a casual meal. The fried pickles came out hot and crispy and they were wonderful! Even after sitting and munching on them after 5 minutes the ones that were still in the basket were still warm. The PB+J burger was amazing! It has a nice little kick with every bite you took. It had the perfect amount of spicy that wasn't too overwhelming. The BBQ wings were also very good! Cooked to perfection and had the perfect amount of sauce on them. The cheese balls were really good but had too much cheese in each bite you took. The cheese balls were also much larger than what we were thinking they were going to be. Roughly the size of a golf ball. The service was splendid. There was one waiter and bartender working while we ate but you wouldn't have guessed that by how fast our drinks and food came out. Our waiter was very attentive and checked in on us, while waiting on every other table in the building. If you are passing through town this is definitely a place to try out!

We sat ourselves and the server behind the bar came around, greeted us and took our drink orders. My husband asked if he could order a Walleye filet and they accommodated; he got mashed potatoes and salad for his sides. I ordered The Mayor salad (truly enough food for two) The Walleye was cooked perfectly, and it was delicious. My husband asked for them to heat up the potatoes, unfortunately they were luke warm at best. My salad was a large salad topped with brisket, smoked turkey, bacon and a chicken wing. My husband and I split the chicken wing, it was crispy, but almost too crispy. In the fryer a bit too long. The brisket was a bit dry, but the smoked turkey was perfect. There were two hard boiled eggs, so if you are eating just protein and vegetables this is is your order. There were a lot of jalapenos on it, and lots of crisp greens. I would order it again, but most likely split it with someone. The service was great. While we were there it was getting crowded. This was the second restaurant that we went to where there was only one person taking orders. Fortunately, she had someone running the food out because she was also tending bar, along with the food runner. Although we were not neglected, it would have been better for them if there were more on staff. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We started with the crab-stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, but when they arrived, the centers were still cold. My prime rib came out barely room temperature, and my wife's was ice cold. Her broiled shrimp tasted more like cocktail shrimp that had been sitting on ice, while my deep-fried shrimp were cold, soggy and had a strong old-fryer-oil taste. Even the au jus for the prime rib arrived cold to the touch in the stainless cup, and the butter for my wife's shrimp was already congealing again. Overall, the food quality was absolutely terrible - some of the worst food we've been served at a restaurant in a long time. I do want to give credit where it's due: our server was wonderful. She was kind, attentive, and very understanding of the situation. She offered to comp the meal and even brought us boxes. We boxed up the prime rib with the intention of reheating it at home just to salvage something from the night. However, when the bill arrived, only about 30% was taken off and this was because they gave us a box and we weren't sending it back to have it remade after an hour and a half wait for our food On a $140 bill, that amounted to roughly $34 off - leaving us paying for cold, undercooked food that we had to take home and fix ourselves. We genuinely wanted to support a local business, especially on New Year's Eve, but this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

The idea of a mexican/ pizza place where all letter s's are substituted by a z (do you underztand what I'm zaying?) is really fun. But to me, the food is pretty average. The pizza is definitely the star and best thing to get here. I've also had the taco salad and that was enjoyable. If you're feeling Mexican obviously do as you please, but most people come here for the pizza. Like I said, the food isn't anything super special, it's kind of average but pizza is pretty hard to mess up.
