We were asked several times if we needed anything. Not all places have good customer service these days so I appreciated that. Fries were good, crispy and a lot. Half basket was $5.00 and we shared it and size was perfect. I would definitely go back to this place. Stopped by the other night as I was new into town and wanted to see what was offered. Once coming in, the place is lively & filled with great staff. Cody (owner), super friendly and off the bat brought in energy that made the place become more friendly with his sense of humor. Kayla was also coming by and checking in making sure we were all taken care of, super sweet & was inviting in conversation. They had a pool table which was cool to hangout and play a couple rounds while snacking off their variety of different food options. Not only did they have a great selection of beverages with all kinds of flavors but they also have some lighter options if hard liquor isn't your best friend. Worst meat raffle ever, music was so loud we couldn't hear the numbers being called.and the meat itself was barely mediocre. Waited 20 minutes for a menu, an hour later our food was "two minutes from being ready, except it took another 20 minutes. Prices don't support this, $17 burger with chips, $4 more to substitute fries for an unimpressive burger. Used to love coming here but the past few years it has nose-dived. Here's a little tip, if you refuse to get the appetizers out before the meal, take them off the f#cking menu. When we ordered chips and questions before our meal, the waitress refused to put it in first. Been an hour and ten minutes. Nothing. Chips and queso is too much for this kitchen. I don't know how they do it Ireland, but if you can get chips out in less then an hour, take them off the fucking menu. How dare you charge a customer for chips and queso that took an hour and 15 minutes!!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE. The owner ruined it. Foxy's is a gem in the Park Rapids lakes area. They have a great regular menu but on certain days they have a special menu and they have mastered it. My favorite is Taco Tuesdays. These are legitimate Mexican tacos, not knock offs. The walleye tacos are my personal love but the others are awesome too. If you love burgers or Reuben's you will find no better. Terrible. We went there on a weekday for lunch. They weren't busy but our orders took forever. Flies! The worst pizza - obviously frozen from a cheap grocery store brand. Flies everywhere buzzing around as we were trying to eat. Server got one of our orders wrong and looked at us like we were idiots for bringing it to his attention. This place is a little hard to find not on the highway like most. The place looks a little rundown from the exterior. They do have an outdoor patio and looks like boat access via a channel from both lakes. The inside is nice lots of wood and seems to be kept clean, the bathroom although small was very clean. There were 5 of us and when we ordered we were the only patrons. The service was very slow considering the lack of customers. I ordered the hot wings and the mini taco plate from the appetizer menu. Others from our party ordered fried pickles, pork loin sandwich,queasadilla,patty melt,onion rings and a rueben sandwich. My wings were cold by the time they arrived and very scrawney, they tasted ok but not much meat on the bone. The mini tace plate was good and I am returning for Taco Tuesday. Can't wait to come back! If you're on Eagle, Island, or Potato lake, this is a great spot to stop by on your kayaks! We came here for the first time today and we were impressed! It's standard bar food, but the service was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food and prices were great! - $3 Coors Lights all the time - I got the Fish Fry which is a customizable basket that is fried fish and a choice of fries, tots, or baked potato, and coleslaw or side salad. I got the fries and slaw and WOW that was the BEST coleslaw I've ever had. EVER. And the portion was extremely generous which was a plus. The fish was tender and white, the fries were good too. - We got the cheese curds as an appetizer ($7) and they were pretty good; I'm glad they use proper "squeaky cheese" instead of cheddar or something ridiculous like a lot of restaurants seem to do. Lots of dip options for the curds as well. - Brandon got the boneless wings and we were excited to learn that a half order of boneless wings is 8 pieces rather than 6, and they were very large pieces! Overall we were pleased with everything! My only suggestion is to avoid the tap water; you can taste the iron from the well which isn't a huge deal but it started to bother me so I got a can of Diet Coke half way through my meal - problem solved! read more

I've gone to Foxy's for about 6 or 7 years and they've slowly gone down hill. I went tonight and they definitely have new management, new menus, and new rules. I had a pepperoni pizza and I could have went to the grocery store if I wanted a frozen pizza, was slightly undercooked as well. read more

Wow! This place was GREAT!!!!! Spent half a day hiking at Itasca State Park prior to coming here and was very hungry! Staff was friendly and QUICK! Ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer.. The chips had a very homemade taste to them and came served warm! Not expected from a small-town bar! Was a nice surprise! Atmosphere is fantastic. Lots of people drinking and having a fantastic time. Wife and I went for dinner on a Friday night for a fish fry. Waitress service was fast in the beginning. Took our drink and dinner order quickly. Wasn't long before the cook brought our fish to us with his apologies that they had no tartar sauce. It's Friday fish fry night and you don't have mayonnaise and pickle relish? Fish was about average, a little to much breading for my taste. Cole slaw was excellent. Frys were ice cold. Overall a very sub par meal. Cocktails were decent but it was very hard to get the waitress over once we had our dinner. read more

This must be the best place around. A 20 mile radius!! They have the perfect mix of craft beers and bush light style. The pizzas and burgers and apps are killer. Looks like a regular crowd. Retake the picture on the menu to more accurately depict the product which is basically a store bought frozen pizza with a little more cheese added before putting it in the oven. Went to the restaurant on Wednesday night. The place was busy as there was live music outside for the evening. Our waiter was very nice but clearly overwhelmed. We saw our food put on the counter for delivery (amongst other plates) but the waiter did not deliver it to our table and it sat there for several minutes. When the food arrived, it was cold. French fries were barely done. Boneless chicken wings were over cooked and the dry rub seasoning was copious. Very disappointing and hard to pay the money for a meal like that.
