Most of the photos are next day pick up, so it is super fast processing. You recieve a hard copy and a digital copy emailed to you. I've come here a couple times to get disposable film camera pics developed and they always do a great job. Turnaround is fairly quick and they email you the photos + you can come back to pick up the negatives if you'd like. Great service! read more

I'm here about every 10 years to get my passport photo taken! I love the quality of the photos that come in both hard copy and via email. I always get the email copies pretty quickly, usually by the next business day, and photo pick ups are also available by the next pick-up day too. The prices are also super affordable, and from what I remember is still the same as it was 10 years ago! I always recommend this place for passport photos as it is just a super check and an affordable place. I'll be back in about 10 years for my next passport photo, so til next time! read more

My go-to spot to get my films developed. I receive mine digitally and have them printed while keeping my negatives. Quick, with great quality and affordability! I've been going here for a few years now, so have my friends! Parking is limited here, but you're usually not there for too long anyway. Drop-off and pick-up, so it's fairly quick! read more

I took pictures there for my passport, and then again for my fiance's Visa Petition. I remember when I went to the Buena Park post office to complete the passport interview two people in front of me were turned away because their photos weren't satisfactory. When my turn came I received compliments on how well my passport photos were taken. My wife had her pictures taken there and my two children had their passport photos taken there too. Depending on the occasion I will choose to print my photos AND get them through email both options under $20 which is a great deal. My print photos always come out with great glossy quality. This small business is a gem in the community and surrounding cities! My daughter first started bringing her 35 mm film to be developed about six years ago. My daughter is now in college and nice to see this place still open! The owner is absolutely pleasant, humble, and the nicest human being on this planet! Had a lovely experience when I dropped off a couple of disposable cameras. The woman who helped me (I didn't get name) was nice and very helpful. I chose the digital option and it came out to under $20 for both. I dropped off my photos on Saturday and she let me know they'd be sent to my by Monday night. Small shop in a tiny plaza. Parking is not a problem since it's not very busy. I needed passport photos and the owner running the shop is very familiar with this request. Super quick and easy, also was knowledgeable about pricing for passport renewal. Photos were ready by the next day. I would definitely come back and refer anyone who needs passport photos here. It was cheaper than getting photos done at the USPS and faster. Successfully renewed my passport using the photos with no problems. --- Note: There's a water store nearby also selling Thrifty ice cream if you want a quick dessert after too. read more

I feel bad it's taken me this long to write a review. I've done C-41 35mm film development twice here now, and it's been a smooth, QUICK, and cost-effective process every time! Pricing is about $8 a roll and includes standard definition scans given to you via email on WeTransfer. I've never had to wait more than 3 business days for that email. If you want to take the film back for any reason, including doing high resolution scans yourself, just specify that you want it returned; you will have to pick it up yourself at a later date. I've attached the film I've gotten developed to this review. Again, super duper!! Thank you, Betty for your hard work and beautiful results. read more

this is the only place i go to to get my film / disposable cameras developed! they charge $7.45 per roll to get digitally sent and emailed to you! you have the option to keep your negatives photos are emailed to you by the next day always!! unless they tell you otherwise been going to this place since 2018 & their prices have never increased, they'll have my business for life!! read more

No more gatekeeping! I've been going to Betty for years now for my film and she's the only person I trust with my film. Betty is so friendly and so fast with returning your film to you. I always opt to get it back through email and I usually get it back in two days but sometimes I might even get it back the next day. Throughout the years I've got to her, she's always kept her price at $7.45 per roll, and I seriously love her for that (you can't find a better price than that). But truly, the main reason why I keep coming back is because of Betty and how friendly she is. Also she has an option to drop off film after hours through the little hole in the door which is so helpful. Come here to get your film developed!!!!! read more

Needed to get some photos for a China travel visa and the owner of this fine establishment was so awesome at her service! She was juggling multiple customers from helping with new inquiries to snapping a photo for another customer and also finishing off payment for another customer, one woman show and she has the talent and experience for it! Pricing is very reasonable, I thought my total would be a certain amount but was happy to see that it was not as expensive as I thought! She does everything you need: passport photos, visas, film development, photo prints, etc. read more

Best photo place around!! I had to get my passport photo taken and it was such a breeze! Even though there were a few people in front of me, she was so efficient that I didn't have to wait long at all! I hate not being able to smile in passport photos, so I was appreciative that she showed me a preview first and even let me retake the photo. On numerous occasions I've brought in disposable cameras for developing and I love that they're emailed digitally. My friend from San Francisco even brought down her cameras when she visited so that she could get them developed here. For the price, friendly service, and quality products, I highly recommend this place!! read more

This is the best place to get a passport or visa photos. The photo quality is excellent, you get digital copies both for the original shot and the shot cropped to the passport standard in addition to physical copies and the price is better than pharmacies. I used these photos after a visa application rejected my CVS pasaport photos and they got it moving again. Turn around is a business day which is super reasonable. They know the requirements for visa photos for most of the nearby cultures in the area. read more

Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

If you've been to a Life4Cuts, you'll see that they are self-served. No staff on site. Props are as organized as other patrons leave it. This location didn't have as many props as other locations. This location has 5 rooms. There is a blue, purple, pink and baby pink backdrop. And most intriguing a high angle room, probably good for large groups. It was occupied when I came, or else I would be interested in trying it. For $8, you get 2 1x4 strip, with the option to add a QR code to scan. You can pick which frame you'd like. There was a good selection of frames to choose from, and some seasonal ones too. I really like these machines because if you super mess up, they allow once complimentary retake. My friend and I did a photo with a holiday frame. We nailed it on the first take, so no need for retake. A cute affordable keepsake for a fun night out.

I've been going to Betty for five years now and she's hands down the best person to handle your film. I moved away but whenever I visit home, the first thing I do when I wake up the next morning is go drop off my months worth of film at 19 Minute Photo. I can't trust anyone else or even think to find a different developer. Back in the day you'd be able to get your film developed here in as little as two hours, but with the rising popularity of film photography and the demand for her great work, it now takes 1 business day so she can help all her customers. I have no problem with this though because it's so worth the wait, and still so much faster than any third party developer at CVS or Walgreens. Amazing quality of the prints/scans for such an affordable price. I'm so happy she gets so much business and I hope she gets more and more because she's the best out there! I've been coming to this place for a solid year now. I would come in about once or twice a month to get my film developed and every time I go in it's a really great experience. Betty, the owner, is super sweet and efficient. She works quickly and gets the job done. I love how quickly I get back my film photos. The price to get film developed is a HUGE bargain compared to CVS or Walgreens. Plus, you're helping out a local Mom n pop. I have been doing film photography for 5 years now and ready for a new camera, easy and lightweight for travel but still have that quality feel. Drake the owner knew exactly what I needed, showed me a few options, then showed me the photos the camera produced so I could see the quality each photo presented. Sure, I could have bought it online from eBay for maybe $50-100 cheaper, but I wanted that guidance and trust while also supporting a small business. It comes with a 6 month warranty in the event anything happens too! I will report back once I take it for a spin, but if you want to be valued and heard and time spent on making a decision on your next film camera I highly recommend Drake & Relics.

Last winter, we were told they were waiting for parts from Japan. This spring, we were provided with a tracking number that never showed a shipment of our cameras. Later, we were told that the best way to reach them was through their online portal. Since then, they have stopped responding despite our repeated attempts to contact them. If you've had a similar experience--such as extended lack of communication, not receiving your camera back, or not receiving the products or services you paid for--please consider filing a consumer complaint with the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General: https://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company Filing a complaint is free. While it may not resolve an individual case on its own, multiple complaints can help the Attorney General identify patterns that may warrant further review. This has been especially heartbreaking for me because one of the cameras belongs to my late grandfather. I trusted Relics Film Lab with something that has tremendous sentimental value. At this point, I simply want my camera returned and my money refunded. If you've had a similar experience, I encourage you to file a complaint and share your experience. If you've already filed or have been able to recover your camera, I'd appreciate hearing what happened.
