Went here because it was right across the post office, for my 9 month old. The post office does not take baby pictures and recommended this place since it was just walking distance. The photographer uses a bumbo seat, my son is on the larger side and could tell he was uncomfortable in it because his thighs did not fit. My son did not want to sit still and would've honestly had a better picture if he just sitting on his own. The photographer played baby shark which helped. After I was shown the pictures and got to pick which one I wanted printed. All over the store passport pictures are advertised as $18 + tax but my husband ended up paying $30. If we weren't in such a rush and did not know post office did not offer pictures, I would've honestly not came here. It's a cute mom and pop photo shop but charging me $30 for 2 copies of my son's passport picture was double the price of a typical photo spot. Unfortunately that's what happens when you're last minute and just have to deal with what's around. Only recommend this place if you're in a pinch and willing to pay double of what other places charge. read more

The man who works there acts like a total prick. I had a photo strip (from a photo booth) and wanted copies printed. He took one look and said no, I only do large prints. I pointed at a photo on the wall which was clearly a 5x7 and said isn't that a small one? He said yes. So I repeated - why can't you make a print of this photo and I will just cut off the excess? And again "I don't do small prints." The windows say he restores printed photos - then why can't he just make a copy of a printed photo? Also, we took passport photos here before and 1. He allowed me to smile big with teeth which is not allowed, so I had to redo them elsewhere. 2. He touched up my daughter's passport photo without my asking - also pretty sure that's not allowed. I like to support small local businesses, but this guy doesn't deserve it. I'd give zero stars if that were an option. read more

I just got ripped off a few minutes ago, I walked in and asked for a passport photo for my son. The price listed on the front clearly says $18. After he handed me the photos, he said it'll be $30, I thought he was joking, I laughed and said really? His response was "no". I said well your sign says $18, he the says "plus tax". I was like wtf! I've only used this place once and that's probably the only time I'll ever use them and it was for a passport photo. The man who helped me was super friendly and actually very helpful (recommending to the boy in front of me to put on a darker shirt or sweater to make a less pale picture) You can get your photo immediately for $12 or come back in an hour for $10. Maybe a little bit pricier than other places, but it is super convenient and got the job done. You get 2 photos (one for your passport..... and one for Grandma?) So friendly!! I have been putting off my passport renewal process because of the picture (no pressure at all to have a good picture for an important document that lasts 10 years). I finally called Amie's to ask about getting my pictures done, Kenny was informative and courteous. I got my pictures done the next day, Kenny was quick and professional in the studio - helped with my hair, gave me a tissue to blot my shiny face (damn you sunscreen!), and fixed my collar to look picture perfect. He was efficient and touched me up just enough to look rested etc. aka the perfect passport picture. I was starting to second guess my smile/hair/shiny face though as Kenny was editing (which I was able to watch the entire process), but thought maybe I needed some time to be ok with it. It turns out, I wasn't. I ran some errands and ended up going home, changing my shirt, fixed my make up, and went back. I asked Kenny if he could take it again telling him that I knew I was kinda crazy for taking them again. Photographer/owner very rude and unprofessional. Was sent here from post office to take passport photos for my son. Photographer was impatient with my son and he was getting frustrated when I had trouble understanding his directions because he's barely conversational in English. After 15minutes he refused to work with us and refund us our money. I wanted to take a set of photos with my family and because I couldn't speak English very well (my wife is helping translate this into English for me), the photographer was extremely rude to me and discriminatory if not racist, treating other customers completely differently than how he treated me.
