It has amazing views of the falls, an amazing vibe, an extensive drink menu, desserts and cozy seating that is perfect for a date night. They have mini coves with fireplaces (unfortunately they were all taken when we arrived but the vibe was great). This restaurant attracts an older crowd and is definitely classy. We ordered the 3 flavour gelato sundae (we only received two of the flavours), which we found odd but it was presented really well and I ordered a mint tea with honey. The chocolate gelato was really good. The texture was smooth and creamy while the vanilla gelato had specks of vanilla bean in it but you could tell it had melted and was refrozen. It has ice particles in it, which gave it a grainy texture. My mint tea arrived in a fancy glass and tasted really good! Would we return? Definitely in the summer when we can sit outside and watch the falls. From inside the view of the Falls wasn't as good and you would have to go higher up to really enjoy it.

After reviewing the menu, I decided to have a glass of wine and the chicken meal. The wine was delivered about the time the band started to play. The band was really great to listen too. Within 10 minutes or so, the meal was delivered. There were enough fries, but lacking on chicken pieces. The pieces were on the smaller side, however, the chicken was good. Nathan kept apologizing and checking in kitchen with time updates of our order. I had steak (medium) and eggs (over medium) with crispy potatoes. Steak was well done and dry (of course). My wife ordered side orders of two eggs scrambled (well done), crispy potatoes and sourdough. Her eggs were bread. Her eggs were runny from inside. The other orders were kids Nutella French toast and Adult French toast which came out good. I want to make sure to say it again that the service was amazing. Nathan and the manager apologized and took off the steak and eggs and my wife's eggs and toast off the bill. I wish we had time to come here again and give it a try but today is the last day at the Hyatt Regency where the restaurant is. I give all my best to Nathan for his great hospitality.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try last night after having looked at the menu and thinking that it sounded really interesting. At around 7:45pm we headed to the restaurant and were seated almost immediately. We were given menus and a drinks menu. We noticed that the restaurant was quite empty, perhaps 30% full. We looked around and saw several servers strolling around. We took a look at the drinks menu and decided that we'd have a couple of cocktails with our appetizers. Then we waited...and waited...and waited. Although many servers walked past us and talked with people at a table only a few feet away, not one person approached us. After almost 15 minutes without even being acknowledged we put our coats on and left. We did tell the host on our way out and he said "oh, sorry" but admittedly we didn't wait to hear what else he had to say as we were fed up. For a new business, which wasn't at all busy and had several servers walking around with nothing to do, I really don't think there was any excuse for this. Had they been busy, then we would of course have understood why someone didn't get to us sooner. We were extremely disappointed and won't be recommending this restaurant.

But did they stand out enough to justify the "original" reputation? Not really. In my opinion, the wings don't beat other wing spots or even national chains in terms of quality. The biggest advantage here is probably the price. My bigger frustration, though, was with the happy hour situation. Happy hour was advertised everywhere, Google, the restaurant's website, social media, and the posts I found were recent. We specifically came during the advertised happy hour time, only to be told by both our server and the manager that this location didn't offer it. When I pointed out that we were going to head to the happy hour next door instead, suddenly they said they could give us a discount. I appreciated the attempt, but the discount still didn't actually match what we should have received based on the advertised happy hour, which left me pretty frustrated. If you're going to advertise a promotion across multiple platforms, especially recently, it should be honored, or at the very least, the online information needs to be corrected. Overall, the wings were fine and the atmosphere was what you'd expect from a wing spot, but between the food not really living up to the reputation and the frustrating happy hour experience, I left feeling pretty underwhelmed
