Then I ordered two empanadas one crab, one shrimp and I would not recommend that neither. The filling was in a tomato sauce which was overpowering. Then we shared a fish with shrimp combo and a side dish. We got the shrimp fried and tostones as a side dish. I also ordered lemonade which was good. I liked the shrimp but my mom did not. My mom said the shrimp was not breaded enough for her. The fish was ok but I am not sure if it was cleaned properly there was a flavor which it had that was odd. The service was ok we did not know where to order. The place was pretty big inside but i would not come. The food was not something which i enjoyed. I was really excited by the selections as soon as I arrived. It was just after 10pm on a Sunday. So many choices-salmon, escoveitch seafood, fried fish, seafood rice etc. I ordered fried, white fish and seafood rice to go. The portions were generous and the rice was filled with all the right ingredients. The taste though??? Everything tasted like it had been sitting in warming trays for 24 hrs. Rice and fish were really dried out. Hot sauce and tartar sauce (from fish market on the corner) didn't help to make it taste any better. I'd go back again, earlier in the day when the food trays are being replenished. I would probably go for made to order seafood, instead of the the food that's just sitting. Gallego wasn't a total NO. A second chance is possible.
