Now although I would love to sit and enjoy my meal, I will never dine in this place again. I would prefer to grab and go, and that can be a problem all in itself if your buying fried fast food. I want to eat fried food when it's hot and crispy. No one wants soggy fried calamari or shrimp, any seafood. I hate to go in restaurants, fast food, whatever and their is a bunch of soliciting happening. It's an uncomfortable feeling and thats why I never stay and dine anywhere on Fordham Road. This particular day I was trying out this new spot with a girlfriend of mine because she recommended it. As soon as we went in we were being harassed by a homeless man. We didn't want to be rude but he was being aggressive with his behavior. We were going to leave but someone who worked their finally told him to leave or he was gonna call the cops, because he was losing business. So now to the food. I was happy with my food.. My calamari was fried nicely and so was my shrimp and it was clean, (deveined). My fries was actually cajun fries and they were good. I didn't like any of the condiments they served us. They should work on that or just give me ketchup. My friend ordered some black mussels in garlic butter seasoning, and some hush puppies. As far as our food goes, we were happy with everything. (Hush puppies were ok, but tasty when dipped in the garlic butter sauce.) So I would give good four stars but rest of experience a 1. Thumbs up only to order your food and go.

I ordered through uber eats, the service is good and I will order again. The sauce and serving size are decent.

We arrived and were seated right away. Service was on point. They check on you while also letting you enjoy yourself, which is the perfect balance. Getting into the food, we ordered the shrimp tempura for our appetizer and it was really good. For our entrées, we ordered the Mommy Boil and the Mini Boil with the special Cajun medium sauce. It was so delicious. I loved everything, the potatoes, corn, shrimp, sausage, and mussels. The portions are generous too, like where can you get a $20 seafood boil? (+ $5 for sausage). After we were done, we both had leftovers. In my opinion, the Mommy Boil is more than enough for two, or you can just get two Minis. Overall, I loved my experience. I'm curious about happy hour too. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back. Thank you Baby Crab!

This meal arrived via delivery app, so I can't speak to the restaurant or in person service…read more I ordered head off shrimp in mild Cajun sauce and garlic noodles. I was impressed by the great packaging. Instead of coming in a boil bag, it was in a large plastic container with a strong lid. There were no spills or leaks. To say I was more than a little disappointed with the taste of the food is an understatement. The noodles were dry. They tasted kind of burnt, like they were toasted in the worst way possible (I don't have the words to explain it). They also didn't have any garlicky flavor. Which would have been fine, because I could drown them in sauce. Alas, the sauce was mostly oil. After pouring off some grease, the sauce was not flavorful. There was a lot of chopped garlic and bits, but again no garlic flavor. How!? It was weird. Otherwise, the shrimp were big and well cooked. Juicy, not tough. The corn was fresh and crisp with no sogginess. This was a truly disappointing meal. Maybe I'll try again in the future. I don't want to count out any boil spots!

I wasn't going to eat dinner at Yankee stadium, I'm in "The Bronx" so I head over to Arthur Avenue. Walking inside Tra di Noi, its like stepping back into the restaurants of my childhood. Red Table clothes and a chalk blackboard with all the specials listed front and center. At the corner table I see chef/owner Marco Coletta. He's sitting and just watching the operation. I see someone walked up and gave him two huge tomatoes?? I scan the menu but I know what I want, the lasagna bolognese. I also ordered a glass of Montepulciano wine. Everything comes to the table quickly. Look at my picture, I can see in the Ragu's soffritto the finely chopped carrots. It's the perfect meat sauce covered in delicate pasta sheets. Just a simple, homemade lasagna. No need to get fancy with truffle toppings. I would have liked to sample their bread basket but it was never brought to my table. Dessert, I was starting to get stuffed so I had to pass. I read about the cheesecake online, which Marco makes fresh several times a week. Next time. Last night, I enjoyed the Italian homemade cooking from Tra di Noi.
