No I'm not going to mince words This is a faith-based coffee shop hence the name John 3:16. So expect to see faith-based everywhere so if you're not down with it then that is your choice but I will tell you this place makes a great latte. So I ordered a Goliath which is a large Rebecca latte which is a cinnamon honey latte with almond milk. Since at the time I was the only one ordering the barista had me go ahead and take a seat and within a few minutes my hot latte was brought to my table she pointed out that there were Bibles on the table and that there was a Bible verse written on the bottom of my cup which was her way of letting me know if I wanted to look up the verse I could. I of course immediately looked up the verse and it just spoke volumes to my heart. Now before you think oh it's probably the same verse on every cup it is not there are all sorts of verses written and this one just happened to speak to me. Upon the first sip I knew I had made the right choice to visit today. I took my time enjoying my latte and others quickly filed in through the doors and place their orders. There isn't a place that makes such great quality and with fresh ingredients as la Fortuna does it. Anytime you walk in there you might have to wait because the freshest bread or empanadas are baking in the oven to come straight to your plate.
