I wish it was first class customer service. I dropped my car off with a damaged bumper and an estimated week of repairs, only to find out on the estimated completion day that no parts arrived at the auto body shop and they were still working on it. Which is a major problem since I'm an Uber driver and use this car for work. So I was told that my car would be done by the following week (today). Just called them first thing in the morning of my newly scheduled completion day and now they're still working on the car and "hope" to have it done by tomorrow. Clearly this is a giant problem since I have been out of work for 2 weeks now due to the slow progress on the car and haven't been able to support my family. I plan to call again later today to make sure it's done by tomorrow, which is now 2 weeks since I dropped the car off at the shop. I understand it could be difficult getting parts for a brand new 2017 car but just making up completion dates not only messed up my work schedule but might just leave me homeless due to lack of income. When I slid my beloved convertible into a parked SUV this fall, not only had I never been in a car accident before, but I had just moved to the area not 2 months prior. Choosing 1st Class Auto Body was more or less a shot in the dark (I checked around on Yelp, and then just went with the shop that was closest to my house). I could not have been luckier in selecting 1st Class Auto. Their customer service is outstanding, and they were patient and considerate with me during the repair. They towed my car from my house (and arrived at exactly the time I had scheduled, so I wasn't late for work waiting on a tow truck) and worked cooperatively with my insurance agency. There were absolutely no disputes over cost or time of repair between 1st Class Auto and my insurer (which is an out of state insurance company, to make things even more complicated!). When I called to check in on my car, they were friendly and informative and even connected me directly to Jim in the repair shop, who talked to me like an intelligent person rather than a little girl (like so many repair shops do). When I went to pick up my car, it looked better than ever, and all of the work they did is guaranteed for the vehicle's life. They even detailed and cleaned the interior for no extra cost. I highly recommend taking your car to 1st Class Auto Body; they responded quickly, were attentive and cooperative, had friendly service, and above all, did an awesome job putting my car back together! read more

I am so happy I found a mechanic I can trust. I have an older Jeep that needed some mechanical repairs but I did not want to bring it to a shop to then have someone rack up a bill on unnecessary repairs. Jahaira is wonderful at the front desk and runs the show. I worked with Jim and he gave me a complete breakdown of what needed to be repaired right away, what could wait and what to not bother with. I couldn't have asked for anything more. This winter has been brutal and my Jeep would have never had made it through these storms without going here. 1st Class Auto Body made sure I was safe in my car and saved me money. I've had the fortunate pleasure (or unfortunate, depending on your take on life) of working with 1st Class twice over the course of 2 months. Our car was victim of a hit and run in a parking lot which required a side panel and bumper replacement. 1st Class dealt directly with my insurance company to make it less stressful on my end. While it took longer than I expected to turn around, the car looked perfect inside and out. Like it never happened and we got a free cleaning to boot! No joke, about a week later, we were hit again in the bumper in a parking situation while we were not in the car. Full on smashed in week old beautiful bumper. Alas, back to 1st Class who again turned around a perfect result. We were very happy with the work they did and how easy and accommodating they were to work with, it's hard to find that in an auto body shop. Today I got a thank you card in the mail from them, which prompted me to write this review. Keep up the good work, 1st Class! You're living up to the name as far as I'm concerned! read more

The staff here are professional and intelligent. My insurance company (Liberty Mutual) has a relationship with this shop and the whole process was painless. They even popped out a small dent in my car for no cost. Also, when I dropped my car off, they gave me a ride to Maverick T stop so I could get to work at a reasonable time. 1st Class Auto Body was awesome. They were very quick, professional, and friendly. They also handled all of the claims with the insurance company and set me up with a rental car while the repairs were being made. I really appreciate that they made the process a breeze after the hassle of being rear ended. Not only did they repair my bumper to brand new (ahead of schedule), but they also detailed the car and took care of burnt out light bulbs so my car looked great when I picked it up. This is by far the best place to get your car serviced! I have been to many car repair shops who overcharge and oversell services that you don't need. At first class, they have always told me exactly what needs to be done to the car and nothing more. In fact, they try to find the best price and most efficient deal for you. We have been there for car accidents to tire changes. The prices are very reasonable and service was usually completed quickly. Jim has helped us out a number of times and the friendly service is very much appreciated. Our friends and family also go there for all their car needs and have been as happy as we are. On a Friday, Jim was extremely helpful over the phone in navigating what can only be described as a complicated insurance situation. He made sure my needs were met in the most reliable and safe way. When I arrived for my replacement on Monday, Jim remembered me immediately after just a simple detail from our conversation. The procedure was completed very quickly while I waited. In the time I waited, I overheard several different staff communicate with many other customers, each time in the most positive, friendly, upbeat way I've ever encountered in an auto shop. Had no previous experience with 1st Class Auto Body, but after my car was damaged in an accident, my insurance provider recommended this place to me. The body work was excellent, but their secret weapon is Jahaira at the front desk. She is amazing, the best customer service I have had in a long time. She coordinated the tow truck for me, and kept me appraised of all details. Car was washed and ready to go exactly when she said it would be. They will also pick you up from the T if needed. During one of our recent winter storms, my car decided not to start one morning at my boyfriend's in East Boston. Since I'm originally from NH and just recently got a car again living in Boston, I haven't formed any relationships with auto places here. After searching for places in East Boston, I came across 1st class auto on Yelp which had consistent good reviews. I called them the day before to see if they could take me in the next day (Friday) before the weekend came. They got back to me within the same day saying they could (great customer service by the front desk). It ended up being my starter which was priced around $180. Usually it seems like per $100 you spend on parts, most auto places charge you at least 100 in labor. But the labor was only $40. Maybe it's not as work intensive as fixing other parts, but I was still shocked at how reasonable the cost was!! My car works/starts great and their great customer service & prices definitely won me over. Highly recommended! read more

Someone had squeezed their car into the space behind where my car was parked. They did a really bad job and didn't have the smarts to abandon ship so I go to get my car and the rear bumper is scratched up badly. My insurance handles it wonderfully but the only thing is, their recommended auto body is in East Boston. Yes. Blue Line. I had reservations but 1st class auto body was really accommodating and they picked up my car right near where I work. They completed the work on my car a whole day ahead of schedule AND had someone pick me up from the T station. My baby looks beautiful now with her bumper all fixed up. The added bonus is that they also detailed my car inside and out! About a month ago, someone (a bicyclist maybe?) hit my side mirror and wrecked it. I got quotes from a few places and they were more expensive than I thought so I waited. I'm so glad I did! 1st Class Auto Body gave a me a quote that was almost $100 cheaper than the average quote I got previously. 1st Class Autobody provided very friendly and professional service.
