She came to our house and gave us great suggestions on what would be best for our really high windows. We were looking for some privacy shades but still able to let some light in. She helped us pick the right blinds, fabric and shade amount needed. We were so convinced by her suggestions that we decided to also cover our slider. Especially after watching in fear measure the high windows in our 12ft latter. She gave us a fair price and ordered the same day.Didn't take long before she called me to schedule installation. After meeting with multiple vendors, there really was no contest/comparison -- not even a little. I had 4 windows plus a sliding door done by 1st Class Blinds. The install took less than an hour; Brendan the installer was professional, fast, and tidy. A quality install, nothing uneven or out of place. He was so personable and explained how to care for our shades and how to get help if we ever needed any. The initial consultation I had with Tracey was wonderful. Tracey has such a warm and welcoming energy that I remembered that decorating a new house should be FUN and not a chore. She was professional, on time, and offered a ton of selections. Her patience was impeccable while I went through all the multiple "this one or that one"s. Price -- (I know that's what you're all likely here for right?) -- very honest and reasonable, really. Everything took about a month from consultation, ordering, to install. If you're a new build owner looking for windows maybe you have experienced this: your doorstep is getting flooded with tons of business cards, you know you need to do things (landscaping, windows, solar etc) and you don't know where to start so you just call everyone. Wow! If you're looking for window treatments, Tracey is your girl. I am very picky, but also extremely indecisive. I welcomed Tracey into our home and explained to her that I'd like shutters upstairs and motorized shades downstairs. I highly recommend 1st Class Blinds! The company was mentioned dozens of times in several of the Facebook moms groups, and residential groups that I'm in. I set up appointments for estimates with a few companies for shade installation in one room in my house. I needed motorized shades because several of the windows are above a stairwell and can't be reached. Because it's a smaller job, everyone else ghosted me. Tracey came, she was professional, personable, and genuinely excited about what the shades could do for our loft. She gave me a quote the same day, and we even ended up hanging out and talking for an hour after the estimate. She's such a genuine person! It took less than four weeks turnaround to get my shades in, and installers were right on time for the appointment, and installed fast. The installers were just as great as Tracey. We ordered solar shades, and the difference in temperature in my house is amazing. We can now use our loft to watch TV during the day, and it's comfortable.
