I had to write a review for this company. We bought an automatic sun shade from Steve's a year or so ago. We love it. All of a sudden the left side was stuck, so my husband called them to come check it out. Turns out it had a dead bat decomposing inside that jammed it up. The problem was not mechanical, but Mother Nature. They removed the bat and charged us nothing. We live way out by Knight's Ferry, so it took them a good chunk out of their morning. Wes and the install team were great (5 stars). Today the locking mechanism just popped out of the $2000 rear door, leaving no way to get in or out of the door. They replaced sun shades damaged and blown off by heavy wind gusts. I was annoyed that they were not more secure because it was the second time the screens were blown off the windows and then damaged by winds and I had to keep paying for replacements. Several months later I noticed the replaced beige screens were gradually turning orange. They were able to replace them again, this time under warranty, for no additional charge and I upped the review from 3 to 4 stars for this service. read more

Wes came out to our home in February to go over the products and pricing with us, took measurements in case we wanted to order (which for us was going to be at a later date for sure). Any time I had called him with questions, he called me back the same day. We finally called Wes on 4/9/13 to order our door and he said it would take 4 weeks to be installed. I got a call from Kevin in the install dept on Tuesday, 4/23 that my door was coming in and they would like to schedule the install for Friday, 4/26 @ 2pm. Perfect! I called the company to come out and give me a quote for sunscreens. The salesman brought a IPad to show me pictures of the screens and what they looked like from the outside as well as in the inside. I told him I wanted grids for the windows since we have them in the in our windows. He took measurements at the time and wrote the bid out for me here at the house. He gave me 20% off which made the screens a lot more affordable. I told him I wanted to call another company which i did. The other company could not find screens with grids and they also cost a lot more so I went with Steve's Mobile. I couldn't be more happy. The screens actually made the house look nicer and even my neighbor really liked them. They will be calling them next year to have screens added to their windows.
