Stopped in here to see if we could leave the plaza on a positive note and we certainly did. The store is filled with a variety of scents for you to sample and choose from to make lotions, roll-on fragrance and more! There are also some great body care options like bath bombs, and other accessories to choose from to make a meaningful gift for any occasion. I remember as a kid experiencing a smaller version of this in Santa Monica and much to my surprise my 12 year old chose the EXACT scent I loved then as well. Out of hundreds of choices she chose "China Rain"!! Both ladies working there are VERY knowledgeable about the scents and also what dupes they have for expensive fragrances you would find at commercial retailers. Their enthusiasm is a little intense but all kind spirited and for the love of what they do. I think this is a definite stop for individuals and families who appreciate body care and customization products. It's a fun way to explore making personal scented items, support a local business and take something home unique. Thanks to technology and the internet, you can even order anything online and have it shipped to you from their shop. For those who are scent-sensitive they offer unscented products as well. But if you're susceptible to sneezing like my father is, stay outside or grab a coffee across the street, while the rest of the family shops and has fun.

Every time I have stepped in this store I have been treated very well. I don't go too often because I have this trick, so to speak. i shop on the Monday after Thanksgiving every year for their sales. That sale day and also their semi annual sales post holiday are so darn good that I buy an entire year's worth of product in one day at about 90 percent cheaper than if I bought these products all year and one by one. Since I buy in bulk like that, I usually do not have to refresh. But if I do, or need gifts, this is the closet location to where I live. The store smells heavenly and like I mentioned above the staff members are great, they also have great coupons in addition to those great sales days.

I became a distributor for Mia Bella because there was only 1 other distributor in northern idaho…read moreso I'm thinking this is a great opportunity for me to get in on a ground floor chance to create something awesome for myself as a disabled person to make some extra money and maybe build on this. for once in my life I felt like I was at the right place at the right time. so I pay my money, order my candles, get friends, family, neighbors interested enough that some people ordered from me. the box of candles are shipped but FEDEX leaves them in the lobby of my apartment instead of. delivering them to my door and the box is stolen and I did not get an update the box had been delivered so there was no way I could get downstairs to grab my candles before they were stolen. so I make a police report, it gets investigate, the police verify from the fed ex drivers photos where he left my box (in the front lobby & not at my door)...I track down the local FedEx managers info and call him directly at the boise warehouse at the airport where everything comes in to get distributed to the area drivers and let him know (this is not a first for whoever delivers to my address but it is the first time something was outright stolen in the 6 yrs I have lived here)...when I found out the package had been delivered 4 days prior there's no way anyone. would. find that box at that point but that's when I discovered everything...4 days after the fact. so I call the company, provide my consultant number, police report, call back number, address, etc to Lisa in the main office. I. had already notified FedEx and didn't know I wasn't the one who could make the theft report, the shipper has to do it. so fine...Lisa says she will file that theft claim with fed ex but she should have sent me another box of candles immediately after getting the police report info because I told her I had people waiting for their orders...fast forward to today and it's 4 weeks later...now mind you I have called every week to get a status update on where my candles are in the shipping process of getting me this replacement box... for weeks now, all I get is the same nasty comments from Lisa about the process with FedEx....no info on when I can expect my candles. so today I try again no get Lisa...again with the crappy attitude so I go all the way to the top of the company, track down the managers contact info and get him on his cell phone...which shocked me but hey...whatever. I tell him the issue, give him my consultant number and phone number to get back to me...so the next call is from one of the owners, bob scorocco... instead of taking ownership of the issue he immediately blames FedEx...yes FedEx screwed it all up but dude! this was MY VERY FIRST ORDER OF A BOX OF CANDLES AS A BRAND NEW DISTRIBUTOR! this has ruined the impression people now have about MIA BELLA, it's parent company, my reputation as someone who tries to make this all right with the people who trusted me and ordered product from me and all they want to do is pass the buck on to FedEx? 4 weeks since I placed my first order and I'm still waiting? their policy is no refunds but in this case, in all honesty, this is SO BAD OF AN EXPERIENCE, I SHOULD NOT ONKY GET A REFUND BUT GET THE BOX OF CANDLES AND A SINCERE APOLOGY FROM SOMEONE BUT NOPE....THEY AREN'T GOING TO DO THAT. so my closing review is this...I feel bad for my friend sheree. cause I have known her since we were kids and I was hoping to make this not only successful for her in that she would now have downline people in idaho...what a feather in her cap! but I was going to be at the start of what I had hoped would be something great for myself too. sad to say...I might buy candles from them just for me but my hopes of establishing a presence here in idaho have been completely ruined and sadly, it doesn't look like they care at all. All I wanted was a bigger pot for the ficus elastica, well, my kids actually and Yes, I did…read morerecently learn the Latin name for Rubber Plant / Rubber Fig. "Hey there's the nursery we got my rubber plant from!!" I heard yelled out from the backseat. "Ok, kid, let's stop in to get a bigger pot to move your plant into. I swear all I wanted was a new pot for our indoor plant, but when you're there you remember that 15 gallon planter that's been sitting empty on your front porch, the potting soil you'll need to fill the new pot to replace the old, and a plant to go into it. Sure, I looked confused and lost and that's probably what clued Gina in on asking if she can drive us around in her golf cart and show us (but mostly my kid) all the plants, the bunnies that have made the fruit bearing tree section of Moon Valley Nursery their home, the birds that flock to their trees and all the different plants you could really ever want both indoor and out. "Daaamn Gina..." (is what was replaying in my mind on a loop, but I not dared to say out loud - throwback to 1990's Martin Lawrence sitcom, Thursdays on Fox) Had I never met you Gina, I would have probably found my new pot and made my way home having only the *one thing to do, but no, you had to go answer *all of my hundred questions about what plant will be good on my porch, no I don't want to attract bees to my front door, maybe something that won't grow taller than the ceiling of my porch, so those cool looking fruitless olive bushes are out, but boy do I wish I could put one there. So yes, as you may have already surmised, I left with our new pot, a bag of potting soil, a rosemary plant (because rosemary is actually a detractor for most insects and you can get fresh rosemary for your meals to boot) as well as a jug of their moon juice fertilizer. So... It's crazy how expensive this new pot for the rubber plant was $140, but look at all this other "free" stuff that came with it, right?!?!?... right?!?!?... Please don't tell my accountant that I spent too much on plants again. Well Gina, you were certainly wonderfully helpful, you answered every question I had and a few others I didn't, you made our visit more like an adventure through the nursery and helped me finish two projects with one visit. Whomever at Moon Valley Nursery is responsible for having hired Gina, you made wonderful choice!
