Process was very fast and they made sure I was taken care of. The office is also extremely clean and they even offered me water.

I'd leave NO stars if possible! This place is basically a scam imo. They fraudulently filled out the pa using incorrect coding (indicating treatment was more involved than was actually done) and refused to correct it even after they were given the proper coding. I have taken my family for different reasons and the Dr has always been able to help us out. The place is super clean and usually not busy so we're in and out rather quickly. He has treated us for bronchitis, diabetes & severe heartburn issues. Always helpful and friendly. read more

Allen location is always quick with check-in. Wait depends on number of patients, but is usually very fast. Diagnosis is quick, treatments happen onsite, and I'm usually on my way within an hour. Wish I could give 0 stars. Visited 12/28 on a Monday for covid test. My wife had tested positive and I am extremely high risk due to cancer treatments. I explained all this to staff. Was told I would get a call and email with results either Tuesday night or Wednesday. I called Wednesday and was told they had other results from Wednesday but not mine. Was told it would be Thursday. I called three times on Thursday and got same story. I finally gave up and figured out what lab they use and how to get results myself. I am positive. It is now Friday afternoon and this sorry excuse for an urgent care STILL has not contacted me. All it would have taken was a 5 min phone call by their staff to the lab to get my results or check on delay. But once they get you $150 up front payment they seem to stop giving a shit. read more

We have always had great service from Dr. Taiwo and First Class Urgent Care. They have always been quick and capable to help with injuries or illnesses. Wait times are usually best early in the morning. During cold and flu season, waits can be long, so call ahead. Super clean. My son hurt his foot playing with friends and by the time I myself (an RN) got home from work, it was pretty late to be seeking out an xray. The office staff made it clear they were not happy to see us so close to closing time and were rather brusque, borderline surly at a time we were rather needing a more reassuring presence. There were no smiles, no conversational tones, just all business and no eye contact. It felt like we were imposing. It bears noting the place was completely empty. In a complete about-face, the NP that saw us was friendly and warm, took the time to explain things and, best of all, spoke to my son (age 17) more than to me. She joked with us and made us feel both welcome and well cared for. She belongs at a better place. Her satisfaction scores will suffer from the poor service from the ancillary staff. Unfortunately the urgent care business is pretty competitive these days and I don't see a reason why I would go back again. The customer service aspect of the female front desk and the male medical assistant needs some work. The male assistant had a heavy accent and spoke fast and low, without eye contact, which made him difficult to understand, which then seemed to irritate him when he had to repeat things. I went to this facility with bladder infection. Never heard back with treatment. I called back 8 days later. Symptoms got worse. I was told they didn't have enough urine to run the test. Went to 1st Class on a Saturday afternoon. After figuring out how to get the preauthorization from Tricare (you just call 1-800-TRICARE) we were seen nearly immediately. Dr Taiwo was kind and cheerful. He appears to love what he does and my husband felt comfortable and confident in his care. The office is very clean and spacious. No, no, no. "Urgent" care my arse. No one in the waiting room, took 25 mins to take me back. Suspect strep throat. The nurse took a swab, didn't cap it, just walked out of the room with the swab. Still waiting on a "doctor" to come in. Again, no one else here (now I know why). Last time I was here, the doc had to Google what tendonitis was. Will never come here again. I have been sick for over a week. I went into first class urgent care and the staff was very friendly. The place was super clean. They saw me right away. It just happened to be a perfect time for me to walk in. Most urgent places take 1.5 hours to be seen. I called around. 1st class didn't take my insurance but most places don't so I paid out of pocket. It was worth it as I was seen and treated right away. Opened at 9am and no physician on duty. Told there wouldn't be one in the office until 10. What happens when someone shows up for care???? Also, make sure you get a copy of your health summary before you leave. I wasn't given one and when I did, it didn't show the shot my daughter received for an allergic reaction. I visited 1st Class Urgent Care (Allen), for flu-like symptoms. Prior to this visit, my experience with urgent care centers was unsatisfactory as I had been treated poorly at a CareNow 2 years ago. Having vowed to never be seen at an urgent care, I decided to give it one more shot but definitely not at a CareNow. 1st Class was easy to find and easy to get to. Upon entry, the ladies at the front desk welcomed me with smiles. They did not know that I myself was an ER nurse practitioner. They were attentive to my needs and treated me with respect, and that made me feel valued. The facility was in pristine condition---very clean. The waiting area is comfortable and chaos free, with drinks and fresh coffee. There is a well lit play area with lots of toys for kids in the waiting room--very encouraging. Shortly after arrival, I was seen by Dr. Taiwo who also addressed all my complaints and concerns. I never felt rushed. He even gave me samples of meds to cut my cost. The nurse was very gentle when she swabbed my nostrils and throat for strep and flu. I was consistently updated on wait times for results and plan of care. Overall, I had a great experience at 1st class Urgent care. I trust my care in their hands. I will trust the care of my only son and my loved ones in their hands. read more

I will not go back. Never was offered the consent for treatment form , HIPAA nor the latest Ebola questioneer . Was placed into a waiting room and the tech took my blood pressure. I told her I thought the blood pressure cuff was not working properly as it was not releasing the pressure as it was intended to do and was hurting my arm. She was not at all concerned. When the doctor who did not wear a name badge came into the room I asked who he was and why he didn't have a name badge. After he introduced himself with a fist pump and some secret handshake, he told me he was the PA and that hedid not wear name badge on Sundays! When my visit was completed went out to the desk. The receptionist never acknowledged me. I had to ask her what's next. No papers to sign or educational materials were given. She told me to have a seat then she yelled at me from across the room that I was good to go. I am disappointed in this facility as it is 5 min from my home. I am concerned for safety at this place, customer service is non- existent. They are always looking at their computer but I do not know what they are so busy with, parking lot is usually empty. read more

Definitely not 1st Class if you have Covid. They wouldn't take my husbands appointment to evaluate him because I told them he tested positive a week ago. He's been overdosing on Vitamin C, Zinc & Elderberry but not getting any better. Fever comes & goes. Coughs up a ton of junk. They said - and I quote - "There's nothing we can do for him if he has Covid. Try Nyquil or Robitusson for the cough. The Dr here isn't seeing Covid patients." Yes, you read that right, they "aren't seeing Covid patients"! When did our medical facilities start cherry picking who they want (or don't want) to treat?!? My husband just needs something to give his system a boost, a fighting chance: Z pack, prednisone, anything. I've heard some Dr's have prescribed Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine which had positive outcomes. This Not-So-Urgent clinic apparently only sees 1st Class patients. And if you have Covid, I guess that makes you a 2nd class citizen - even with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance!!!! read more

Went in for excruciating low back pain. Other urgent care had 2 hour wait time. Was seen by doc within 20 minutes. Office called following day to check on me. Ended up calling Sunday because pain atill excruciating. Recommended i come in and get injection for pain and referral for MRI. Staff very friendly and professional. Felt more like doctor office then urgent care clinic. Would recommend for urgent care. Clean and has kids play area which was great. read more

I'm not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to take time out of my day to write this one: I'm shocked to see the negative reviews preceding mine because our experience was awesome. We had originally gone to a CareNow which was 3 or 4 miles away from us but it was the closest CareNow and it was the only urgent care facility we knew of, which of course is why we went there. We get to CareNow and they told it was a 3 hour wait. They called other CareNow locations and all the closest locations had the same 3 hour wait. In an effort to NOT wait 3 hours with our sick 5 year old, I simply Googled "urgent care Allen, TX" and 1st Class was one of the first, if not THE first, that popped up. We called them to confirm that they were an urgent care facility as opposed to an emergency room (as to save on out of pocket copay expense) and to find out how long their wait was. They are an urgent care (which was great), they're much closer to us (which is even better), and most importantly there was NO wait! (which was absolutely awesome!). We were checked in with no problems, the girls were helpful, we were seen right away and the next thing we knew we were out of there! They also had several amenities, such as: A Kerug with assorted coffees, free waters and sodas in a mini-frig, huge containers of lollipops; they even had popsicles to give my son to make him feel better about getting his throat swabbed. From the girls to the Dr., everyone was nice and worked well with us and our son. Another huge positive, for us at least, was the fact that they have random bible versus posted and/or mention God on their walls. Personally, I LOVED seeing that kind of boldness in their office. I highly recommend giving these guys a shot. To those that gave this place a bad review, I highly recommend trying your luck again to see if anything has changed. This location is definitely out 1st choice for any future urgent care needs! In fact, we'll continue to come back to this location and provide an updated review should anything go better or worse since our last visit. read more

Tried to call them, they did not answer their phone(during office ours) so left a message and call back number. Then tried to make an appointment online with a message, never received a response, confirmation, or appointment time. It is now several weeks later and I have still never heard from them except.. they do answer right away when you post a negative review with excuses. Read the reviews and responses. I am extremely hesitant to use this facility for further medical treatment if they can't be responsive to their patients, except when they get a negative review( online) then they do seem to find the time for contact. Makes me wonder what quality of treatment they provide. We are military and unfortunately limited where we can go, this is sadly one of the few places in network for urgent care. read more

To start things off, they claimed they couldn't verify our insurance and we were required to pay in full up-front. Then, we get an EOB from our insurance saying they paid in full. I have called them 3 times to try to get our refund and each time have been told that a manager has to approve it. Based on other reviews I've seen, I think this is a scam they are running. They hope you won't pay attention to your EOB and see that they go paid twice. But, that was just the billing issue. After waiting over 45 minutes in an empty waiting room, they finally saw my son. The doctor us that he was pretty sure it was strep throat and didn't need to run a test because he was going to prescribe "X" either way. He told us they would fax it to the Walgreens next door. We waited about 30 mins and went to the Walgreens. They had not received anything. So we went back to Worst Class Urgent Care and they said they would send it over now. They did....without the dosage! So Walgreens calls back over to find out the dosage and the doctor had left for the day. After we got it all figured out and they gave us the prescription, it wasn't even what he said he was going to prescribe. It wasn't the generic of what he said. Stay away from this place. read more

If you want quality care and not have a 2 to 4 hour wait, this is the place to go. I take my whole family here if we have an emergency. We've always been treated promptly and thoroughly. AVOID!!!! We were also required to pay $300 in full up-front for a simple visit that resulted in a prescription. Then, the EOB from our insurance said they over charged us for the procedure by $85. I have called them 4 times to try to get our refund and each time have been told that a manager has to approve it. I've yet to receive a return call from a manager or refund. I was not overly impressed with the clinic. They were most concerned with who my insurance coverage was with. I got to see a PA who didn't really do anything but look at my dog bite wound and prescribe me a round of antibiotics (even though he didn't think the wound was infected) Said I need to follow with my PCP within 3 days, which felt like they were passing liability to me in case he was wrong in his diagnosis. He said to keep the wound bandaged, but didn't bother to dress it and put a bandage on it. Lord knows what they billed my insurance company for. The check-in nurse couldn't even properly work the BP cuff and was going to record a reading 40 points higher than my normal reading and what she finally got on the third try. Unbelievably horrible . The girl at the front desk never made eye contact, was rude, bored- seemed stoned(?) - she would rather be anywhere else. We were told a normal visit would be $160 but could be more for a more complicated diagnosis. We spent less than 5 minutes with the doctor and were billed $264 - simple visit resulted in a prescription for antibiotic. Go anywhere else - take your chances with an internet self-diagnosis or see a witch doctor. This place is scary! read more

I could not get in with my regular doctor so I came to 1st Class Urgent Care in Allen and was pleasantly surprised. I was able to see the doctor quickly and they took great care of me. They were able to do an x-ray and treatments in house so I did not have to be referred anywhere. I was given everything I need to get better and they show genuine concern. I would definitely recommend this place if you need to see a doctor. read more
