I've been going there for over 20 years and I won't go back. When Carlos was there it was great. I went to another place to have it done (recommended by a friend) and it was great. Saved $35. I found out that they replaced the drain pan bolt with a larger one and that caused it to leak. They never told me anything other than it couldn't tighten well anymore and was leaking a little bit, my putting in a bigger bolt that caused more damage on it. I show up at 8am for an alignment and they tell me to come back or call within 2 hours because the guy who runs the alignment isn't in yet, so I was like, okay. I show up at 1220-1225pm and the guy tells me I would have to wait an hour and a half more for them to work on my car and that it's have to wait 4 hours for the entire thing be down. I ended up going to Tire Choice just down the street and they worked on my car as soon as I got in. I made an appointment for 9:30 am on Wednesday, 07/06/2022. Carlos gave me quote for around $900 for 2 new tires, 2 new sets of bearings, and an alignment. I said okay. He said that it would take 2 hours. So, I figured by noon that I would be out of there. I told him that had a very important meeting that I had to be at, and back home, by 1:00. Carlos said sure. He added that, if need be, he could have someone give me a ride home (less than 5 miles away). At 12:20, I was going to ask for the ride home, but Carlos was not to be found anywhere and nobody knew where he was. I asked about my ride to the other employees, but nobody knew anything about it. I know that I should have called Uber, but I am way too cheap for that, and besides I was hoping that Carlos would show up because my house is less than 10 minutes away by car. Carlos reappeared around 1:15, so I asked him about my ride home. His response was, Oh, my guy will be back in 30 minutes. I'll have him give you a ride then. I asked him what the holdup was up on my car, and when would it be ready. Carlos said that it should be done real soon. At 2:30, Carlos comes over to me with a new brake pad and told me that my front pads were about half way worn down and that he would do a brake job for an additional $100. I said ok, but hurry! Carlos said that since everything was already off that it would only take another 30 minutes or so. At 4:00, Carlos comes over with one my car's rotors. It was as shiny as a mirror and smooth as winter ice, but he tried to convince me that there were dangerous "hot spots" on it, and that they both needed to be replaced. Since I have been a DIY mechanic for nearly 50 years, and done over a dozen brake jobs on the many old cars that I and my family and friends have owned over the years, I told him to please use the old ones because it was obvious that they did not need to be replaced. Hi answer was - Too late. the new ones had already been installed. That was the straw that broke this old camel's back. I told him to just please finish and give me my car back. He was quiet but very polite and friendly. Manny soon appeared and JR went to work on the car with no wait. Manny is very clean cut, friendly and very helpful with explaining the different oil types, and the prices. One thing that also stuck out was Manny is the manager but when he spoke with JR he was also polite and was in no way rude ordering him around. It was right here I knew I could trust him. As other customers came in Manny and JR treated them like family. They were both sincere and made me feel like I could put my guard down. They were not trying to up sale me anything but were making recommendations on a few maintenance repairs I would be needing in the near future. When I explained I was a little strapped for cash they knocked some money off the bill for my next visit. I cant imagine going anywhere else in the future. Let me just say that I have never been so disrespected in my entire life! I took my truck in to have the front springs and brake master cylinder replaced, and a runs rough issue (carb). They had the truck for 3 days and just destroyed my vehicle. The so called "ASE" mechanics broke my heat riser valve from inside of the exhaust pipe and bent up the ball pin connecting to the Actuator valve!! Then they decide to put an actual hose clamp on it and said I put that on there and it sounded like that when I came in, WTF!! It sounds like all rods are bent and ticking and pinging away. The Heat riser valve is flapping loose inside the exhaust pipe. They installed the master cylinder with the mounting nuts loose so brake fluid just pissed every where! The oil pressure sending unit wire was either cut or pulled. Three spark plug boots were loose on the distributor cap. Then they decide to add front sway bar bushings and a rear differential service, "I hope that's okay." Yeah they said that. The bill was $300 over what they quoted me. The so called manager Carlos just talked over me and would not let me speak. They actually blamed me for things they themselves did. I WAS PISSED! I had to order new parts to replace the destroyed ones. Thanks a lot! I strongly recommend that you keep your vehicle away from this horrid place. They will cost you more money and heartache. I used to come here for my oil changes, and one time while I was getting that done, the manager let me know my serpentine belt needed to be replaced due to wear and tear. I came back and had it repaired. Fast forward to 1 year later; I'm getting my oil changed when the manager let me know the belt had numerous cracks and looked like it needed to be replaced. I brought to his attention the fact that I had that done there and it hadn't even been a full year! I told him my original belt lasted 14 years!!! The only thing he offered me was to have it replaced and I would only have to pay the labor which was $89. I know my car and I know that Toyotas are extremely easy to work on which is why labor is typically not very expensive. I googled the average cost of labor to replace my belt and the answer averaged between $41-$53, so at $89, you're practically charging me for everything again ( I called another place and it was $109 for parts and labor)..... THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF. Which is unfortunate for the mechanics because they are actually decent human beings. Good luck to this place! Lost a customer! My girlfriend got about 800$ worth of work on her Honda Accord done here, and then her tire went flat a few days later (because we drove to Vegas and got 3 nails in one) and she called and they stayed open past closing just to do it for her since she had had work done here recently. The customer service is always outstanding with really nice people that work here. There was no wait time when I came in to get my oil changed and break lights fixed, and they have awesome pricing. I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport and it was only 35$ whereas places like Jiffy Lube over charge me. After an hour and 30 minutes, all we see are guys hopping from car to car while our cars' hood was open and untouched. DO NOT COME HERE: Dropped my car here for an oil change, which I was told would take about an hour. An hour later, I show up to see my car still waiting, and no sense of urgency in the staff. When they finally attempted to pull my car into the garage, they found the battery to be dead. When I dropped the car, the staff had turned on the accessories to check mileage, but failed to properly power off. I explained this to them, after which the pushed my car into the garage to change oil. While they changed my oil, they attempted to up-sell me a battery. Again, I explained that the battery was fine, and just drained from accessories being on for an hour. After oil changed, they "attempted" to jump my battery from a dead handheld battery jumper for one minute. After quickly "giving up", they attempted to sell me a new battery AGAIN! At this point, over two hours had passed, and I told them I'd just push start it, as they were unwilling to jump me with one of their vehicles (my cables). After pushing my car out of their driveway, knowing it was too dead to push-start, they simply returned to the garage and LEFT ME STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Whenever I go to these auto repair places I usually can't wait to put them on blast... all of you know what I'm talking about too! This place on the other hand has always given me damn good service! I went here to get my usual oil change ($17.xx special) and they brought to my attention that one of my car had an oil leak due to worn seals, a problem that I was already aware of. Lets just say that they gave me an excellent deal! I'm not going to say exactly what it was, because I don't think they should feel obligated to repeat an offer, but if they do then so be it! They fixed the problem and so far so good. Trust me though, if something goes wrong I will change my rating and put this place harshly on blast and let you know 100% of the details. The standard oil change packages are pretty cheap and they're usually quick about it. That is unless you go during the weekends when everyone is off and available to get their car serviced. I say head over there right when they open or you'll be waiting a good 45mins - 1hr for an oil change. The only reason why I deducted a star was that the time it took for my repairs, but I can't complain. I did have a function to attend to, but they had a pretty darn good offer so I said screw it and hand the work done. Staff is on point, honest and polite. If anything they point out potentially serious problems when your vehicle that should be serviced. Great bunch of guys here and I will be coming back again! read more

So for cleaning my rotors and installing my front brakes, they charged me $120. Just last weekend, I went to this other tire place near my apartment. This time I needed my rear brakes installed and I was charged $70 for cleaning the rotors and installing the brake pads that I had bought online. Anyway, lesson learned. Yelp reviews are not that reliable. You still need to call places and ask for quotes if cost is one of your bigger concerns. I did feel like I was being ripped off when that guy quoted me $120, but I was already there and just wanted to get it over and done with so... Oh, well! He didn't want to tell me the cost up front. He asked for the keys because apparently he was done serving me. Before I handed them to him I asked how much it would be. He said he didn't know. He showed me their great prices and you get 50% off brake parts just for checking in via Yelp right now. He also was honest enough to let me know that I do not need my transmission fluid flushed yet (unlike the other place I went 'highly' recommended me to do so). He even went under the hood with me to show me what was needed and what was not during this visit. The fact that I didn't end up doing transmission flush alone saved me like $140 today! I highly recommend this place for any service needs that you may be looking for with your car. You can't find honest shops easily nowadays. By the way, I was here for a new battery, new front brake pads, and new air filter. I got all this done for under $300! I was going to pay about $400 for similar amount of service at another shop. Long story short I went here after needing a desperate alignment done, was told it couldn't be "perfectly, 100% aligned"... Days after it slowly went back to how it was prior to bringing it in steering wheel STILL shook horribly esspecialy on the freeway, as well as the steering wheel shifting to the left again. I'm just so tired of dishonest mechanics its so frusterating.
