The Space: The location is in Conifer tucked away in a quiet building in this foothills town. The space was welcoming and relaxing as soon as you walked into the waiting room. The treatment room has a comfortable heated table and low lighting that instantly relaxed me. The treatment room had plush seating and a lot of space to dress/undress and relax before/after the treatment. The Facial: Marnie is super knowledgeable and offers a variety of services for all skin types and uses Eminence products which I love! The facial was luxurious and included an LED therapy and hand massage along with the facial. I left there feeling relaxed and my skin was glowing (and with a bunch of samples to keep the glow going)! When I got there, I was able to lock up my stuff and robe up. You wait in this tranquil lounge that is stocked full of that amazing Aveda tea until your person comes to get you. I chose to do a Chakra massage and had never done one before. It was good, but the touches were very light, which was explained to me. I typically do deep tissue/athletic massages with hot stones or aroma therapy. My massage therapist did a good job explaining everything and was really professional and clear. After it was over, I did feel balanced and like my overall sense of well-being was intact. If I make it up to Tallgrass again, I would most likely try a different type of massage. However, I would encourage anyone who is open to it to give the chakra balance a try. I was able to hang out in the quiet space for as long as I needed post-massage. The fire was crackling, the tea was warm. It was perfect. When I was ready and got dressed, I was able to shop for makeup and look around.
