They can be rude, over-charge and their work is hit or miss. I paid $50 for a facial wax. When I saw that they had missed a few places, they charged me an extra $30 to fix their mistake. I have light blonde hair and they said it was hard to see my hair. I was not happy with their wax. Gel nails are done well. I can't speak to other kinds of nails. I recently requested for my gel polish to be removed and for my nails to be cut short before getting a new gel manicure. My nail was hanging over the skin of my fingertip, and I wanted it a hair shorter than my fingertip. They've done this before, so I asked for it again. This time, they said they could not go shorter because they didn't want to make me bleed. I said they wouldn't make me bleed. I asked if I could trim them myself and let them do the polishing and painting. They said no. They grew frustrated with me. I then said I understood and would like for them to take the polish off, and that I no longer wanted the gel manicure. The woman was VERY rude, huffing and puffing, acting like I was in the wrong for changing my mind about paying for a service that couldn't meet me needs. She still charged me money. I still tipped 20% as a nicety. When I looked at my nails, one hand still had some polish and she had not bothered to clip my nails to at least match my other nails. They charged me money for a poorly done job and didn't send me out looking even somewhat decent.... because I changed my mind when I realized they couldn't offer me what I needed??? I'm not impressed with how they treated me. A simple "I'm sorry, we aren't comfortable cutting your nails that short" would have sufficed, followed with basic human kindness and respect. Unprofessional vs downright creepy I called this salon and a man answered the phone, I asked if they had time for a pedicure. He said not now, come later and I said no that's OK. I'll just go somewhere else, he responds "Oh no, just give me your name come in now, We'll do it". I decided not to go because they were obviously busy and I did not want to have a "rush job" so I went to another salon near King Soopers instead, who said they had time. I always try to get Jessica, she does a great job and is very sweet. They keep a very clean salon and that is so important to me.

I get my nails done here all the time. They are extremely flexible about fitting me in whenever I call for an appointment. I've had gel manicures and regular and deluxe pedicures and have used every nail tech that works there. I've never been unhappy with a service in the 8+ years I've been a client. Their prices are very reasonable. Sanitation protocols are excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Harmony Nails Conifer to anyone. I have not had nail extensions, therefore can't review that service, although I do see many satisfied clients. read more

I visited Harmony Nails for the first time and took my aunt in for a manicure. Lucy was overtly rude to her. Rolling her eyes, barked questions at her when my aunt did not respond properly. Lucy told her she should get gel not regular polish. When that didn't work Lucy told her the color my Aunt picked out was all wrong. REALLY! Wish I had sat close enough to hear all this I definitely would have left immediately and gone to Conifer nails by Soopers. read more

Will not recommend. My fiancée was getting her acrylic nails removed when the nail technician did not even soak them up before actually removing them. Moreover, it damaged her nails greatly and made them very brittle and weak. He was popping them off even when my fiancée was expressing to him that it was hurting her. On another note, this specific nail technician went to blow his nose and proceeded to touch my fiancée's hands without even washing his hands. Service was unfriendly. They did okay on my nails. A little thick and too short even though I asked for them not to be thick and not to file too much. The color is really pretty, but my friend's chrome was not what she wanted. Expensive and abrasive on not giving you a receipt or explaining why it costed what it did. read more

I really don't want to leave a bad review because my nails look so good. But, my eyebrows were completely destroyed prior to leaving for my vacation. The photo I uploaded was of my eyebrows two days after they were waxed. It's so painful, I'm getting scabs, and I look horrible on my vacation. I cannot believe someone could do this bad of a waxing job. FYI - I do not have sensitive skin and I get my eyebrows waxed by my normal girl on a frequent basis. I'm actually a bit disappointed in the full set of nails I got yesterday. The woman who did my nails was pretty rude. It made me want to get up and leave as she repeatedly pulled my hand and told me I needed to "relax my hand" while giving me the worst look, which I tried as best as possible but this is only my 3rd time getting nails so I guess I'm not a pro at it lol. She put the wrong color on, which at that point I just wanted to get out of there and my nails don't look great. I asked for the "almond" shape and they all point unevenly in different directions. They guy that did my pedicure however was awesome. He had a lot of attention to detail and was very kind. My feet feel and look great so definitely a plus on that end. read more

Honestly I wasn't planning on getting a pedicure up in the mountains but my plans altered and I needed to have them done for an event...imagine my surprise to finding this place. I have just moved here and had gone to a couple places closer to my home but now I plan my pedicures for when I am in Conifer they last, the massage is heavenly and even the regular pedicure doesn't disappoint but occasionally I treat myself to the deluxe. I first tried Harmony Nails when I first moved to Bailey and I was not impressed. My Mom is a regular there so she convinced me to go back and while I wasn't thrilled with the gel manicures I had received there, they were good enough and it was convenient for my Mom and I to go together. However today I went with my Mom again (admittedly begrudgingly because I had tried another salon I liked better) but again, my Mom likes her technician so I went. I had an appointment for a gel manicure and a pedicure which I was really looking forward to because I had just worked 10 days straight and my feet were killing me. They never asked what type of pedicure I wanted, there's no sign or information as to the type they offer but a lady next to me was getting a pedicure and wrongly I assumed mine would be similar. I was sadly wrong. My pedicure was worse than what I could have done myself, the technician barely scrubbed my feet, barely massages my legs and didn't massage my feet at all. Honestly it was the worst pedicure I have ever had and my kids used to give me pedicures when they were little. My feet look awful, the only thing that looks halfway decent is the polish and that's because it's a nice color. The gel manicure was also lacking and not thorough. Again my arms were barely massaged and he totally skipped my hands. I plan on contacting them and asking them to redo both of them only because I paid for services that I don't believe I received but I doubt I'll be back especially since I found a place I like better in Conifer that's cheaper and has a better selection of services and nail colors. read more

We've been here a few times. There are some great technicians and some others who have less than stellar work. Each time we've been here with reservations we've been with large groups- so things tend to be a bit rushed as they work through ten other people. My gel manicure was done quickly- it has multiple air bubbles and was put on with a significant gap between polish and the cuticle. It looks like it has grown out for a week or so and it was just done yesterday. I also had a pedicure and came out with tons of bubbles on my big toenails. It's disappointing, really- but when I stopped back in someone tried to fix the mistake but it's still a mess. I came here once because my friend and i were in a rush and needed to get our nails done, we waited for about half an hour and still these people were helped before us. As soon as we get our chairs we get interrupted and the workers would leave and help other customers. They would pay attention to what was happening with other clients and cut my toes a few times. I had also payed for a full set and she did a horrible job with my nail shape, practically didn't make the shape i wanted, and left and got a different color that i didn't ask for. When it came to pay i paid in cash and they didn't even bother to ask for my cash back. I had to go get my nails done at a different nail salon three days later because my toes and fingers hurt so bad. I went with a friend to get a mani/pedi today and was so pleased to find the salon incredibly clean and safe. When we arrived our temperature was taken, we washed our hands, then completed the requisite forms to have service. My technician was Lucy, who was so careful with the details of my manicure, and I can't be happier. She and her husband John own and operate the salon, and are living examples of the American dream. Nice relaxing atmosphere, with friendly and skillful technicians. I go here regularly and look forward to my "mini-vacation" every other week. I like that they are scrupulously clean and I never worry about dirty utensils. I have been a patron of Harmony Nails for several years and have never had any problems. My manicures and pedicures always last for at least two weeks and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that the foot, leg and hand massages are sometimes too rough and can be painful, so I usually speak up and ask them for a more gentle massage. Everyone there is very good at what they do, but my favorite is Ni, because she is very gentle and gives her massage with a light touch. Over the years, I have tried almost every nail salon in the mountain community and Harmony Nails is by far my favorite. I have never received poor service, and have always found them to do their best to please their clients. These days, I rarely go anywhere else, and will go out of my way to get my nails taken care of here. read more

The lady was super rude! I PAID 105.00 to get mine and my daughters nails done acrylic didn't ask for powder or anything just acrylic and my nails look like shit. I have been a faithful customer of Harmony Nails for years. I was very pleased when John and Lucy purchased the salon in early 2017, as change in management can be a little scary. They have done a great job over the past year and I remain a faithful customer. I ALWAYS call and make an appointment because sometimes they are quite busy. They are slower first thing in the morning if you plan to walk in without an appointment. I highly recommend Harmony Nails. read more

My experience was stressful and rushed. Lucy interrupted my toe and fingernail polish changes no less than 5 times to take care of other people. I initially wanted a manicure but after seeing her haphazard attention, I was thankful she did not give me a manicure. My nails are uneven , she cut one all the way down and was then surprised when I asked her to shorten the others. I had to file one myself at home because it is so uneven (slanted heavily toward the other fingers). I always try to support the local businesses but I cannot ever support Lucy. It really is hard to find a clean nail salon. I went to a top salon in Arvada when I first moved here and then got an infection! This place is small, quaint with super friendly staff and very clean. I watched them take the time to sanitize and clean everything when I was finished! Prices are very fair. Mani = $20 and Pedi = $30. Good color selection. Relaxing music.
