Bdobo Mongolian Grill provides All-You-Can-Eat BBQ for $11.99 (lunch until 2:30 pm). Higher prices after 2:30 and for dinner. The meal includes a bowl of either hot and sour soup or egg drop soup, a bowl of either white or fried rice, and a small piece of fried bread. Food (4/5). There was a good variety of ingredients on the buffet, and a big variety of sauces. I was a little disappointed with my first bites as the six scoops of sauces/oils that I had selected weren't enough to make it sufficiently flavorful. However, adding some soy sauce from the table corrected that! I was also a bit disappointed that some of my favorite Mongolian BBQ ingredients weren't on the buffet -- notably mung bean sprouts, snow peas, baby corns, and scallions. After placing our order we waited for our name to be called when the food was ready. We tried the CBT burger ($12.00), Goomba burger ($14.00), Chevy Dawg ($9.00), and seasoned chips ($4.00). My favorite was the CBT burger. Both of the burgers came with double thick patties. The CBT burger had melted American cheese, caramelized onions, sliced long pickles, and a "special" sauce. I wish it had more of the sauce- wasn't much there to begin with. The sauce was a stone ground Dijon mustard mixture. The Goomba burger had melted havarti cheese, fresh arugula, sauteed buttered mushrooms, and a little lemon aioli. I was not a huge fan. The meat patties were a little dry. I could not finish the entire burger. Wasn't that impressed with the Chevy Dawg. It came with a light buttermilk coleslaw, pickled relish, yellow mustard, ketchup, and chopped deep-fried floured onions over an Angus hot dog. The hot dog bun was over toasted. I didn't like the taste that much. Maybe it's because they didn't slather the ketchup all over the bun. Once I got to the ketchup part, then it started to taste good. I like that they donate $1 from this purchase to the local animal rescue. The seasoned potato chips could use improvement. First, they need more seasoning. Second, some of the chips were not crispy. Lastly, the most disappointing of all, is that they gave us a skimpy amount of a lemon ranch dressing dip that goes with it. It was a poorly distributed ratio of dip for a huge bowl of chips! I would try this food truck again but would just stick to the CBT burger.

This is Chef Bud Taylor (a James Beard Foundation Winner)'s post-covid project that serves awesome burgers and a very original, signature dog. The Goomba burger is my favorite. There are no substitutes because this burger won a James Beard Foundation award... hence don't fix what is definitely not broken. If you can appreciate unique and original food with a ton of flavor, do seek out this food truck. Also, everything is served with house made chips... but they do run out so get there early!
