Delicious homemade soups and breads. The dinner is cozy and inviting. A small town dinner feel. Great service

Good sign so far with the cars slipped into the parking lot. Walked in immediately greeted by the waitress. First question asked if we had been there before.....a preamble to let us know it was "Cash only". Typical breakfast fare with home style fixings. Bacon & eggs were cooked perfectly... eggs runny and over easy and bacon crispy. I had the home style potatoes with onions and peppers. They were delicious. Second return trip, I had the double cheeseburger with hand formed patties. Way too much burger due to the 2 large patties but was tasty and well seasoned. Waitress suggested desert and I opted for a dollop of banana pudding with vanilla wafers. Oh boy what a treat of creamy gooey goodness. The waitress informed us that "Donna" does the cooking and she has daily specials. Got the feeling this is a local's place by them calling each other by name but no the less everyone was friendly and staff was welcoming. Bottom line this is a down home cooked meal like you would get at Grandma's house. Highly recommend Donna's.

It was my brother in laws birthday and we surprised him by having his brother fly up here. I finally landed on the Lox Benny +avocado and espresso martini. The server was sweet, but he informed us it was his first day, and it definitely showed. It was a weekday lunch, so there were barely anyone dining in. I have worked in the biz, along with all of us, so we were patient. Over all he was sweet, and just needs to get in the swing of things. One of the eggs was not poached (overly cooked so wasn't watery), but over all it tasted amazing. I ordered a 2nd drink different from the first, and ooof, it was not good. The entire table wasn't impressed with their 2nd round either, we all tried something different. We had to return my sisters rum coffee completely. The strawberry drink tasted like complete syrup and was very thick. I felt bad and didn't want to return that one as well. I asked for them to water it down, It still wasn't great. I drank it anyway. Over all the server was nice/friendly and doing his best for his first day, we all enjoyed our time together, the food hit the spot and tasted excellent, but I wouldn't personally order the pre set cocktails they have on the menu.

They have customer WiFi but it doesn't work so your cell service is very limited and that is very aggravating. Searching WiFi and it says they have it for customers. Click on it and it isn't available. Restaurant was recently remodeled and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was good. Our young waitress did a great job and checked on us a number of times. The food wasn't over the top like I expected. The restaurant was out of many things on the menu which included salad dressing. My wife got the salmon and baked potato and said the salmon was just ok. I could tell the baked potato was heated in a microwave and my wife said it wasn't completely cooked. I got the bacon burger and home fries. The burger had two small pieces of bacon and they give you a pack of mayo. The patty was a frozen patty and I expected the bun to be toasted and it wasn't. I love a good bacon burger and give this burger a 4 out of 10 score. The home fries were from a bag and heated, not really that good either. We sat on the deck overlooking the water and marina. That was the best part of the whole visit

I wanted to try their pancakes but didn't want a full stack, and our server Robin was wonderful in recommending the Sweet Start. One thing we really appreciated is that all breakfast entrees include coffee or tea, and the prices are already very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that even though we ordered specialty coffees, we could still enjoy complimentary refills of regular coffee. The restaurant has a charming and unique atmosphere, with every table looking a little different from the next. For my meal, I ordered the Sweet Start, which included one pancake, eggs, and bacon. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days. My husband ordered the Banana Nut French Toast comes with homemade whipped cream and homemade pecan butter, which also came with bacon. He added a side of eggs as well. Everything was delicious. I'm especially particular about pancakes, and I can honestly say they serve some of the best pancakes I've had. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and what stood out most was how genuinely happy all the staff seemed to be. It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely return the next time we're in the area.
