We requested a patio seat and sat in a quiet area with one other table. We didn't share a main course just most of the apps. Great cheese and meat plate, watermelon tartar was refreshing and unique, pork sliders were awesome and filling. The passion fruit is a must get for dessert but it was all great. Maybe 30-45 minutes. There was an acknowledgment of the delay of appetizers with no explanation, however. We received entrees close to 9pm. All were lukewarm at best. Evidently the center my friend's filet was still cold (the order was for medium rare). My husband and I had the lamb and the chicken. Both just okay. He also had an old fashioned that was all ice and not really what you'd expect for a restaurant of that quality. We enjoyed our gin cocktails and wine, but skipped dessert altogether. Honestly, I cannot wrap my head around this experience for a ~$500 meal. If you're looking for somewhere special and a fine dining experience, we'd recommend you look elsewhere in central Virginia.

Food was prepared to order. Burger and fries were hot, fries were wonderfully crispy. Burger was a tad on the salty side - I think that comes from whatever they sautéed the mushrooms in. So you know what you're getting food wise. That said, the change to the onion rings was smart. The new rings are great! The only negative is they are only available in one size. A larger size is needed. The only other negative is other Hardee's locations run from so so to being awful. This location is usually good to excellent. Service can be a little slow at times, but as other reviews said, the staff here is always friendly and seem to care. The regular customers also seem nice ans it's clear they're hanging out just enjoying the food and each other's company. So, this isn't fine dining, but if you want (mostly) "fast" food done right this is the Hardee's for you. oh and this location does the breakfast biscuits excellent.
