For $9.00 a sandwich, chips and a drink is a good deal, especially when you see the size of the sandwich! They pile on the meat and aren't shy with the fixings. There's outdoor seating, either open air or covered, to enjoy the scenery while you eat. If you're still hungry, the bakery is amazing; pies, cakes, mini whoopie pies; tarts, and more! There's also a huge aisle of candy and sweets. Plus an ice cream bar at the other end of the store. Every aisle is filled with shelves of jams, honey, baking goods, dry goods, spices, soups, condiments, nuts, dried fruits and much more. Love this spot and come back time and time again!

Generous...maybe because we were so persistent or maybe because they are just like that down in Culpeper. As in MD, my chocolate was good but not superb. They didn't have the premium flavors at this location. Oreo was superb. Service was fast, but they forgot to package some of our chocolates. When we called about the issue, they did offer us a refund. On the other hand, the pricing of the pastries was astronomical. The one we bought (white rose) cost $18, when I've had a similar pastry in Arlington, VA that only cost $11. Taste-wise, it was fine. They also offer gelato and gift boxes, but we didn't buy any so I can't comment on them. The back of the shop is decently sized and has one or two tables for people to sit at, but the part of the shop that goes past the chocolate cases is very narrow. If somebody has a walker/wheelchair/stroller, or a group in front of you forms a cluster, you probably won't be able to move past them.
