I first have to share this place is in a long strip mall, so you have to look to the far end go locate this eye care. Upon entering they offer an option to sanitize and mask up. All staff are wearing a mask which for safety reasons I felt very comfortable. We picked out my glasses with Jennifer help. Jennifer let me know what my insurance covered and even shared when they would be receiving their new stock. Picking out a pair of glasses can be time consuming but she was very patient. Hubby and I were super happy with our glasses and would definitely recommend this place. I appreciate the hours, they were open on Saturday. Costumer service from the front staff is non existent. It's a shame because the dr that helped us (apparently temp female dr) was so sweet and so was the nurse who helped my kids. All 3 times I've walked into this place I'm never greeted- nobody acknowledges me. I always wait a few minutes before asking for help in case they are ACTUALLY busy but that's never the case. I recently moved to Fullerton and chose to come here because of the reviews. The staff is nice although they seemed unorganized when I was there (maybe from lack of communication). I was on time for my appointment and was there for a good 2hrs to have my initial exam and to get a prescription. This seemed excessively long in comparison to my old optometrist office which only ever took an hour. I advise everyone to always have them breakdown and explain the bill and what your paying for because there were some unnecessary fees. The worker also realized that my insurance covered a fair amount of the fees after I had her go over it with me and explain all the charges. When every thing was said and done my bill was half of what it would have been if I didn't question her. I was sent a text letting me know my glasses were ready which only took a week. I thought it would be a quick in and out pick up my glasses and go. But no I had to wait a bit although no other customers were there and then I was told I had to pay the bill which I had already paid at my initial visit. The worker could not figure out why I had a bill although she could see in my record that I already paid it. I sat there for half an hour waiting to get my glasses. She had me pay a $30 charge which I didn't question. I was in a hurry because I had reservations. Very annoyed. I won't be coming back here. read more

This place customer service sucks I do like the Dr himself but as far as the staff, the woman in there are always rude, this would be the third time me coming here and they all have nasty attitudes, this last time they didn't have anybody in the lobby and still made me stand outside in the cold with a bunch of crazy bums just to pick up my daughters glasses. I have been coming here for my three kids and myself for years ,but as of yesterday I was really surprised and disappointed. I called the week before to schedule an appointment for my daughter at 5:00PM, I work in Irvine so I had my mom take my daughter to meet me at the office, since I had a long drive and wanted to arrive on time. When I arrived they told me my daughter's appt was not till Tuesday at 5 pm "why would I schedule an appt for 5pm on Tuesday when I know I'm off of work till 6pm". I did mention to the girl helping me that when called to Schedule the appt the girl on the phone was laughing and talking to someone else, and She just proceeded telling me that Doctor would not see me until April 4th. Maybe the next Doctor will look further into employees errors. read more

I have been to this office a couple times for my annual eye exam. Dr Chiana has been one of the best, spot on optometrist I have been too. I have been to several other optometrists and my prescription is always off. I wear eyeglasses and contacts. Dr Chiana is spot on when it comes to your prescriptions as well as eye health. He makes anyone feel very comfortable and also has a wonderful staff. Front desk is very courteous and friendly. The eye techs are friendly and Vanessa, i remember her name is soooo knowledgeable in insurance and helping out with picking eye frames. I decided to use this providers office to get an eye exam and contacts for my kid and new glasses for myself. The doctor was thorough and her "bedside manner" excellent. The staff is equally professional and polite. Now the glasses. I was informed that mynew glasses would be ready in 10 days, however at 10 days they hadn't arrived and i wasnt notified of the status. I received my glasses in 14 days, which isnt bad, but lack of communication is. I recommend that if a pair of glasses goes over the estimated time of completion, that the staff call the patient to keep them notified. I appreciate your professionalism and i love my new glasses. I got a pair of glasses and I still couldn't see. I thought maybe I should just let my eyes get used to it, well a week later nothing. I go back to tell the old doctor guy and we did the test again. He tells me it's the same, i say I still can't see with them. He says he'll go to the back and fix them. He basically wiped them down with alcohol and gave them back and said they should be better.
